Down here, the media has devoted more than 50% of their news broadcasts to the apprehension of this guy who sent out those bombs to prominent Democrats and other media outlets.  He lived, at times, in Aventura which is an upscale community in far north Miami Beach adjacent to the Atlantic Ocean.  My parents had a condo in that community in the 1970’s through the end of the 1980’s.

It seems as though many things seem to happen down here in South Florida - the school shooting in February 3 miles from me; the bomb maker; Trump’s winter home; hurricanes; etc.  Not the Shang-ra-lah it used to be in the 1930’s through the 1990’s.

cabin filter change on an Accord is something a 5 year can do. Very easy if you are willing to look in the manual for how to do it (or these days, Youtube). RDX is just is easy, so don't pay the dealer to do it. My old TL was a little more complicated, and needed a screw driver.

the only one I would not do was the Volvo S40. The was in the driver's footwell, and you had to remove the brake pedal to do it. Not to mention contorting into that small space. Dealer I think was 1+ hour labor to do the job. I looked at it and said I was not doing it. I have no clue if in the 7 years/115K miles of it's life until I sold it if that filter was ever changed.

On a more recent generation Accord, maybe, but back in 2002? No thanks. RDX does look much easier, so I have made the mental note for a couple years down the road, or whenever it decides it needs those filters changed.

The battery on the sebring lasted 7 years but it is a pain to replace. It's behind the wheel well and you practically have to take the front end apart to replace it. Supposively it's to protect the battery from the engine heat.

I figure that's why my V70 had it all the way in the back. It worked... got 9 years and 147K from the original battery, and the cue to replace it was that the computer started throwing airbag faults because the battery voltage was low.

seems like a good value on the Sentra. Should go buy it. Let us know how it drives on the way home. Be careful you don't get a ticket.

The OEM battery in my ti lasted over 10 years. It was working fine when I replaced it but BMWs of that vintage had a penchant for dying without any warning and I didn't want to wind up stranded somewhere.

my experience with Honda's has been that their OEM batteries don't last. Getting 5 years out of one of those is pretty much the most you can hope for, and I had to replace a couple earlier than that (more in the 3 year range). Always went aftermarket for something with a lot more juice, because they were also very marginal power wise, especially if you spent time in the frozen north country.

The ti is back in the garage; the pinion seal was an easy fix; the A/C less so. I figured the system was low on R-134a- nope, fully charged after 23 years and 146,000 miles. The problem was a failed compressor clutch. My SA and I agreed that-considering the price of the clutch-it was better to go with a new compressor. The only problem is that there are none in the U.S.- so... we await one from Germany. It may take a while, but with highs in the upper 50s the lack of A/C is not an issue.

    Apparently Volvo too.

I wonder where this is on my TLX. Maybe I'll search youtube at some point.
TLX is easy. @stickguy video is a good one. Took me all of 2 minutes to change mine. Only thing that didn’t go exactly to plan was putting the shelf back in. You have to line it up exactly, or it will just flop around in the compartment. No biggy!

Air box under the hood is just as easy to get to. Right on top and to the right (as you’re facing the engine). Pull down two metal tabs, lift the top of the air box and slide the filter out. Slide the new filter in. Place the top of the air box back on. Reclip the metal retainers.

Too easy. Save yourself enough for dinner with the GF or wife.

TLX has the same setup as the RDX, in the back of the glove box. Unlike the Accord or Odyssey, no need to drop the door. If this takes you more than 2 minutes to do, you are not trying very hard. Super easy.

That's the easiest one I've seen yet. I always change the cabin filter myself on the Pilot and Accord for less than $40, and much less than the dealer would charge me for just one. Another reason to consider a CPO TLX!

It is still lot harder than it should be....especially for the average owner. I think they make it hard so you will get it done by the dealer during regular servicing....extra profit for the dealership.

Hitler might be dead along with his minions, but his legacy continues to provide the impetus for antisemitism and devastating cruelty against Jews. The same is true for those who would do harm to innocent Muslims in their mosques or African Americans in their churches or Asian Americans or Americans of Hispanic decent.  Humanity can be cruel and hostile toward anyone who looks different or thinks differently.  Just look around and see what’s happening to our country and our world.

The same kind of person who killed African Americans in their church on a Sunday morning a few months ago in a rural town with a rifle and handguns.  The same kind of person who, at 19 or 20 years old, walked into a church and killed African Americans as they prayed.  The same kind of person who killed gay people here in Florida at a gay nightclub.  The same kind of person who would send pipe bombs to Democrat personalities and those who hate Donald Trump.

I could go on and on, but it’s all around us.  This is not political - it’s mayhem and murder of thy fellow human beings for outrageous reasons and rationale.

We need to teach our children how to love - not to hate.  We need to stop tolerating hate speech and the spread of that hate in the media and on TV.  We need to stop the needless killing of young Black Youths in Chicago and other cities in our beloved America.  We need to learn how to be compassionate for those less fortunate.  We need to respect our fellow human beings - their right to practice their religion in celebration of their God(s).

We can do it if we really wanted to.  So, what’s keeping us from learning how to live together harmoniously and respectfully?

There, I got it off my chest - thanks for allowing me to vent - I feel a little better.  ;)

stick - that Sentra SR Turbo in Brilliant Silver is a gem. Still my favorite car by far. I love that car. It tops all Mercedes Benz', Porsche's, BMW's, Ford's, Chevy's, Dodge's, Buick's....it tops them all.

I drive a 2011 Kia Soul that just topped the107,000 mile mark. I owe about 22 more payments on it. It's stranded us twice in the last two years plus there's reports of 2010-2015 Kia Soul's catching on fire.

The 2017 and/on Nissan Sentra SR Turbo is not only a good car it's a great car.

Hey, last time I checked, Edmunds doesn't charge for posting pictures of member's favorite cars. So I'll post my favorite car's picture as many times in here that I like. Period.

No, I don't like the cars most of you like. But, think back, do you remember me coming on here running your favorite cars through the mud? Answer? Nope. I don't.

I don't give a crap if you guys don't like me. I don't care. I would take a good look in the mirror and think about how you view others. Maybe you're not so perfect, huh?

actually not a bad looking car. and got a lot of stuff on this model, and the right number of pedals.

I liked this one the best. Better colors. real low miles. I have also been to this dealer, and grew up about 15 minutes from there. And really close to great pizza place! Bradd should know it.

After reading Iluvs post, I seriously think you should sell the Club Sport and 2er and buy a Sentra SR. It’s the only logical choice.

stick - that Sentra SR Turbo in Brilliant Silver is a gem.

If you trade in the Soul now the Sentra becomes a $21000 car.

It's stranded us twice in the last two years plus there's reports of 2010-2015 Kia Soul's catching on fire.
That could be a good thing....do you have insurance on it?

The 2017 and/on Nissan Sentra SR Turbo is not only a good car it's a great car
Is that a quote from an actual car review or subjective?

Hey, last time I checked, Edmunds doesn't charge for posting pictures of member's favorite cars. So I'll post my favorite car's picture as many times in here that I like. Period.
Yeh, but we are getting tired of scrolling through them. There could be a class action suit in the works.

No, I don't like the cars most of you like. But, think back, do you remember me coming on here running your favorite cars through the mud? Answer? Nope. I don't
    What about "It tops all Mercedes Benz', Porsche's, BMW's, Ford's, Chevy's, Dodge's, Buick's."

I don't give a crap if you guys don't like me. I don't care. I would take a good look in the mirror and think about how you view others. Maybe you're not so perfect, huh?
Nothing personal iluv.......we are only talking about your OCD about this Sentra

and the time it takes to pull the trigger....I think it took less time to fight WWII
