I assume H/K must use different engine plants for different markets. On a UK car forum I mentioned their engine problems and everyone from over there had never heard of such a thing, nor was there any service campaign or recall in the Euro market for it.

Oh oh, I have the theta II 2.0 in my Kia. No oil burning issues so far between 5k full synthetic changes. They did a recall last year to upgrade the knock sensor.

Currently they have a recall for emissions.

The only real worry I have is with carbon buildup from my mainly short distance drives.

I read somewhere that the cars built in Korea rather than elsewhere have fewer engine problems.

the not road worthy signs should give bidders pause. Not quite sure what you would do with this ratty thing. certainly not pay to get it back on the road.

also, I don't think I could comfortably fit in a standard cab ranger. Need the extended cab to have enough room to push back and recline the seat.

From the looks of that beast it doesn’t look like it would take too much pushing to move the seat into your comfort range. After that you’re on your own.

I think that only works on port injected engines not GDI.

Speaking of H/K and their engines, etc., I've just been informed by my Genesis dealer that when I bring my car in for it's oil/filter change in 12 days, they will be using full synthetic oil as opposed to a synthetic blend which they have been using for years during their 3 year complimentary maintenance program. I am going to assume that they will not change the oil and filter as frequently as they have in the past - in other words, they would do the servicing once every 10-12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever occurs first, instead of every 6 months or 6000 miles, whichever occurs first.

I wonder if this change is due to some of the problems they have been having with their engines. I have the 3.3 L V6 twin turbo. I've checked the oil levels frequently, but the levels are fine.

Will, you asked me if my Ceramic Coating Dealer would do my coating for 0 dollars if he skipped the detail.

The answer is no! In order to do the coating job, he first has to wash and detail the entire exterior of the car before applying ceramic coating. He also uses clay to remove any imperfections in the coating, especially on the hood area where the water is not beading as well as on the rest of the car. He applies the coating to not only the paint surfaces, but also to the chrome, the wheels, etc. The reason the cost is only $250 is due to the fact that the car has been given two coats of ceramic coating about 2 years ago. That involves a tremendous amount of time. I hope this answers your question, Will.

I use Gmail. I used to send an email, and it would appear in my inbox again....I like that because sometimes I want to save my replies, or emails I send.
All of a sudden all of my sent emails and my replies go into the trash file. I have to remember to go into trash, move the message to the inbox, and then save it.
Does anyone know how to make sent emails return to my inbox?

Why don't you look in your "sent" mail?

there are settings for what you want to happen when you delete, etc. Can go to archives or trash, can have trash automatically empty, etc. Always a good idea to just go poking in your settings and see what is checked.

and you do have a sent folder, separate from what you see as sent in your inbox.

Edit: answer can vary depending on what device and email program being used.

He should be able to strip the affected hood and reapply.

Perhaps you want all the other panels re-applied and the car detailed too though?

Thanks....I think that worked. I went into FILTERS like it said, and I said that any emails I send should go to my PRIMARY (inbox), they should be marked important, they should have a label on them (SENT label) and they should never go to SPAM.....in other words every option possible so it doesn't go to TRASH. I sent one to MrsD100 and she got it, it appeared in the inbox.....it seems to work......Thanx for finding that, the trick is to know how to word the question so you get the answer to the question you are asking.

Right click on an open area of the desktop, choose "Personalize", then choose "Desktop icon settings"

Or, from a command prompt enter:

Make sure to check "Recycle Bin"

We are talking HP laptop, bought Nov 2022, Windows 11.
Abs fix seems to work.
I sent an email titled "Test 1" to MrsD100 and it went to her SPAM, it probably didn't like the word "Test" in the subject line.
I then sent her a youtube video of a Husband and Wife honesty on the golf course and it came in fine;

Had the car washed (always hand-washed) today. Ran my hand over the hood area and the rest of the car's paint surfaces and it felt like glass everywhere. That would mean that the ceramic coating is still working. I will let my ceramic coating guy assess whether it really need a renewal coat. I've been using this guy and his business for over 20 years now (for tinting and ceramic coating) and I trust him and his work.

My brother and his friends are marshalls at the Players Championship up in Ponte Vedra where he lives. Traffic is unbearable according to him. I just got a call from him as he just got home from watching Spieth, Thomas and Homa complete their finishing holes. The course is in magnificent condition according to him. 59 of the top 60 golfers in the world are playing in the "Players Championship" at the Sawgrass TPC in Ponte Vedra. I was following a KIA Telluride today and I noticed the car companies must be following my advice.....squarer lines and larger windows. I also like the way they put the KIA name on the tailgate.....it looks good painted on and the stylized word KIA works;

The new Kia logo is seen as a stylized "KN" by many people. I don't think it really works very well, but people will eventually get used to it.

Kia people love the new logo. I was talking to a guy that had a Telluride in the driveway. Commented on how nice it was, and he almost apologized that it was an older model with the old logo.

The line on the “N” goes from bottom left to top right on the new KIA logo (so it’s not an N). I guess you see what you want to see sometimes…

You guys are going to laugh....Well, after two years, the 2020 CRV had 6000 miles on it. Our 2016 EXL CRV just turned over 20,000 miles. I don't care about the logo; I just wonder who would name a car company a name that's a military acronym for Killed In Action.

Given their engine woes, maybe that was their intent.
