Installation is pretty simple, I did have to take off the rear wheels, I just couldn't work in the tight space.

Thanks.
To install:
1.Pry up on the four clips and remove the rear speaker grille. Do not break the clips when you remove the speaker grille.
2.Position the speaker on the rear parcel shelf with the terminals facing the outside and install the four 5 x 16 mm bolts.
3.Open the trunk lid, and pull down the trunk liner.
4.Inside the trunk, locate the vehicle connector taped to the vehicle harness and remove the tape to free the connector. Connect the connector you just freed to the speaker terminal.
Thats it. You can find oem speakers on the majestic honda site for 37.12+s/h, or you can just go get them from any electronics store.
Thanks in advance.
Or better yet just make them an out-the-door offer without itemizing what you're paying for and figure your offer as though they weren't there.
My girlfriend's Corolla has a tape-stripe that keeps getting peeled off in car-washes!
As far as other dealer add-ons...another dealer already had on mudguards and wheel locks at a price of $280 (installed by a different dealer)! I told them I didn't want them and asked to have them taken off. Initially they said they would take the wheel locks at a savings of $91! But, later the dealer said he would just leave both add ons on the car and just charge me for the mudguards at $189!!! Doesn't this seem like a bit much?
I have gone to Bernardi's parts, hondaacuraworld and even honda's website... they all have substantially lower costs, even with installation. But this dealer says he has to charge me what the car was sent to him with. It just seems like a way to get some easy money.
One shade darker than legal. If you get legal it's a waste of money IMO. Even the tinter said it was not worth it.
After moving to the central valley (especially THIS week I am thankful to have it!). It's held up just fine.. going on 3 years now. I forget the percentage. ..but I think 30% tint is equal to 70& light transmitability which is the minimum in CA. So I guess I got something around 35%.
It's just light enough that you can see someone's face if they are looking out the window at you. Darker than that, cops might question it if they have nothing better to do.
This is on an Acura. I plan to get it on my Accord also...when I get the Accord.
Plus, shipping is cheap and the service ('Tim') is excellent.
Then for three bucks buy a six inch aux cable. (it has a stereo minijack on both sides) Plug one end into the front of the headunit and the other into your ipod and TADA.
You can play your ipod through your stereo with all the clarity an Ipod can deliver.
The FM transmitters dont sound so nice and if you have the old IPOD's the hardrive spinning makes the most annoying noise coming through the FM signal.
If you need your ipod to be charged at the same time, either buy one of those Chargers that goes into the cigarette lighter or just get an IPOD ready head unit and dish out an extra 80+ bucks for the actual Ipod transmitter doohickey.
I happen to be not a supporter of leather seats, let alone pay extra for the same. BUT I do love navigation. Honda, in its infinite wisdom (which apparently is the norm with most car manufacturers) dictates that i buy the premium EX-L to have the "option" of getting Navi.
I don't like the suction cup alternative of fixing a magellan type device on a clean dashboard. So, I'm left to contemplate the option of getting the stereo removed to get installed Pioneer ($2900+) or Epsilon ($2500+) DVD/Navs.
Here's my question for forum members: I have not bought the car yet - I want to this week and I have good prices for LX (18140 + TTL) and EX (20555+TTL). Is there any better alternative for me than to buy the LX and get it's stereo removed by California Concepts (Redmond, CA) to plug in Epsilon or Pioneer if I really want a Navi?
Thanks for sharing
1. When using it with an iPod, does it show the song names from the iPod on the stereo screen?
2. Does the auxiliary cable work with other mp3 players?
3. Does this come installed with the EX-L or does it cost extra?
Thanks.
If I remember correctly, some folks said it wasn't worth the high cost. I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be around here shortly.
The Alpine HU plugs into the iPod's data port and it can be interfaced via the stereo display and controls. It just plugs in a works, vs having to deal with Honda's HTT stuff.
I got OEM fog lights from a Honda dealer on E-Bay---$180
2 sets on E-Bay now--Ends Aug.1
You can get after-market there too for less--comes with everything you need
Also, how difficult is it to replace the factory front speakers with aftermarket components?
I'm not sure what a cargo mat is but I'm assuming you mean the cargo tray. kcrossley gave you one link... there are many others, including your dealer.
I have an EX-L and the black leather 9won't make that mistake again)! gets quite toasty in the sun. So, a nice set of cool seat covers for the summer (I like it in the winter, no need for the bun warmers!) sounds like a nice idea.

Whatever you buy, if your car has side airbags, they are actually mounted in the seat itself, make sure the covers are designed for airbags.

Does anyone have an idea where I can get this tool?
I bought an EX with the 'Rear Wing Spoiler' and I paid $300 for the spoiler which was already installed on this car which was on the showroom floor. I think, the list price on the spoiler is more than the deck lid.
However, in my case, I am not a fan of spoilers and the only reason I took this car was because this was the last 2006 car available within 100 miles, with a Carbon Bronze Exterior/Charcoal Interior Combination. The only other Carbon Bronze cars, including all 2007 cars, had 'Ivory 'Interior.
The dealer wants $600 to add it on. After reviewing the instructions, it doesn't look that difficult, provided you have the right tools. I can buy everything online for about $275 delivered.
