cink - I've been following your posts. Congratulations on your success. What dealer did you end up buying from and what general comments do you have regarding SW Ohio and/or tri state area Honda dealers (inventory abundance on accords, etc.) This purchase would be an I4 auto sedan for my wife - trim line uncertain and subject to availability. I'm just south of Dayton. Thanks.

Oh - and forgot to ask ... was the 17,000 SE offer you had in a different color that you didn't like? Just curious why you chose the LX instead.

After a month research and two-week hunting, finlly pull the trigger on 07 Honda Accor LX, AT, grey pearl for $17,900 OTD including mud guard and 4 free oil change. This is in SC.

A question though, there are two white lines with letter 'H' on the side of body. Is this usual? :surprise:

    MSRP: $29995 (inc. destination)

The price offered to me is:
    $25590 (inc.destination)
OTD: $27975 (with %8.375 sales tax).

I am from Brooklyn, NY. What do you think about this price? How much less can I expect to go? Thanks.

I am highly interested getting an LX. But I will relocate from CA to TX next month and I really dont want to bother buying a new car and moving it to another state. Is there any chance the 07s will be still available until the end of Sep in TX ?

If I were you I would hit the Columbus market for honda, and work the dealers there with offers from dayton. Its really all about finding dealers that have lots of inventory of the trim you want. Columbus has some big dealers. You know all the dealers in Cinc.

Should be able to buy for $25,000.00 plus taxes.

Will still be some on the lots. Pickings may be slim and not in a preferred color.
You might have to do some shopping.

Paid $18,950 for a new '07 honda accord ex i4 sedan at, including splash guards at Lisle Honda (Illinois). Crystal lake and Joliet very comparable in price. Lisle was more convenient to get to.

Tired from getting deal together, especially with the private sale of old car. What's the lowest extended warranty cost for an accord, and who sells it? Thanks.

I'm a Canadian looking to buy an Accord in the States. Does anyone know if the speedometer on the Accord has both mph and kph readings on it? I need kph reading (smaller scale is fine) since that's what we use in Canada. According to the photo on Honda website, I only saw mph reading on speedometer. Also, how comfortable are the seats on VP compare to LX or SE. We don't have VP here in Canada so I don't know what to expect. Thanks.

On Friday I picked up a 2007 Accord EX-L I4 MANUAL NAVI (Graphite Pearl) from Gateway Honda. I did a lot of shopping around and they seemed to have the best prices - to the point where other dealers said I should take their deal because they couldn't come close. Here's the break down:

    $22000 + 599 (dealer admin) + TTL = about $24K OTD.

(For reference Invoice = $24,375, MSRP = $26,845 incl dest.)

I also bought an Odyssey from Gateway last year and recieved a great price and great treatment then as well.

    Hello everyone,
For the past few days, my family have been shopping around for cars. First, we were looking to purchase a Civic lx, but we decided to go little bigger and decided on Accord SE-V6. I've been reading this forum and checked out the invoice of the car from edmunds.com (it was a BIG help). Well, we went to few of the dealerships in Long Island, New York and the best deal we received was $21,000 + tax + tag. I went around few of the dealerships and asked if they can beat the price and non of them said they can match or beat.

    So... here is the detail...

    Model: Accord SEV6
    Body Style: 4Door
    Transmission: Automatic
    Color (Exterior/Interior): Grey/Grey
    Vehicle Price: $21,000
    Destination and Handling: $0
    Tax: $1,811.25
    Tire Tax: $12.50

I was hoping to get a lower price than $21,000 because the style is changing for the 08 Accords and 08 are coming out soon... But none of the dealers would go lower...
Overall, the buying experience from the dealer that I had was great. When I went to the dealership today, the dealers were putting "SOLD" sign on the car every 5 minutes or so. I will be picking up the car tomorrow.
    Thanks everyone for helping.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. Thanks again.

    Hello!!

I would like to know if 24k for an EX-L V6 with Navi is a fair price to ask for on that model. I plan on making a deal on one soon! Or 22k for the EX-L V6 without Navi? Please let me know what you think. Are they going to deal or laugh at me? Thanks!

I know Navi's are limited, so I might not be able to get one.

    Let me know! :shades:
  • terrypm1terrypm1 Member Posts: 79
Personally those would be an out of this world price if you could find a dealer willing to sell you an Accord at those prices. Realistically they are going to want $1000.00 to $1250.00 more than the prices you quoted. I just bought a EXLV6 no navi and it was $23,000.00 and I beat the bushes for that price. ;)
  • bvdj84bvdj84 Member Posts: 1,724
You got a good deal! Well I am going to push for it, I went ahead and offered via email, so they'll probably counter up a bit on the deal. I want to lease one, and really as long as I can stay in the mid $300's range for payment, I'll do the deal. Did you lease? What was your deal?
  • terrypm1terrypm1 Member Posts: 79
You got a fair price for the car but I think you left about $750.00 on the table. Check out ebay item 260150250412 where you coulda done better. :confuse:
  • terrypm1terrypm1 Member Posts: 79
I purchased my car from a dealer in Georgia and had to go pick it up. Paid $22950.00 plus 350.00 doc fees (that included pin stripes and 4 mud guards) for it. If I could have waited a month I am sure prices would drop a little bit but might have had to go to a back up color. :)

While doing my shopping for my Accord I had been seeing more and more Accords built in Mexico (of all places). Everyone do NOT buy a Mexican made car. Check the manufacturing plant on the window sticker or if "3" is the first letter in the VIN that is a Mexico car. Personally I would not want a Mexican car where it was assembled with wages of $1.50 per hour for the workers. They sure do not have the quality of an American Honda car.

Good Deal! I have my eye on a Black/black EX-L V6 with dealer added Chrome wheels. Its very sharp. I offered 22k for that car, and at other dealers I asked for a 24k EX-L V6 with navi. I am waiting for tomorrow so they can reply via email or phone, but I am thinking of going in person. Do you think I am able to get my payments in the lower $300's with just the EX-L V6? or mid? But, they do have a silver 4cyl with navi, essientially that is the same price as the EX-L V6 without navi. let me know what you think?
  • gordon_atlantagordon_atlanta Member Posts: 1
Got what I feel is a good deal at Ed Voyles Honda in Smyrna.

    I4 EX-L 4DR w/o nav: OTD for $22,500. (6% tax)

Also got them to throw in three oil changes.

Great experience, was very happy with the whole transaction. We were originally considering a loaded Civic with nav, but an accord was only $1500 more and I am shocked at how much pep the 4 cylinder has. We used to have an Accord coupe V6, and I'm surprised that I don't miss the extra horsepower. (not to mention, I'll be getting better mileage)

If you're in the market, do yourself a favor and at least test the 4 cylinder. You might be surprised like we were.

Anyone have any insight on when we will see incentives in the form of Special rate APR financing from AHFC or dealer cash on the remaining 07 Accords? Looking to purchase an 07 Accord SE V-6, or possibly EX-L looking for 3.9% or less for 60 month. I purchased my 02 Accord SE in August 2002 with 3.9% from AHFC..when will they bring back the low APR financing deals? I'm in the Mid-Atlantic region.

    HI!

Can you please let us know what you paid for just the car (SE V6). The best price I've received is $19,400...but I know taxes and licenses are different depending on the state.

    Thanks!

Hello to all wise Honda car buyers there.

I am about to buy New Honda Accord. Should I wait for the 2008 model as it is redesigned or Should I go for 2007? I dont care about the prices but I certainly want to keep this for atleast 5 years. Tell me what you think? Thanks and I appreciate your efforts and opinions in Advance.

    Thanks :)

    Sam112233,
Buying a new car when it has just gone through a re-design can be a bad experience. There will ALWAYS be bugs to work out on the re-designed car.In 2006 I bought a new Camry LE,totally re-designed.After 10 months ,I traded the car for AN ACCORD EXL V6 Coupe. The Camry trans. was the worst and my local Toyota dealer would do NOTHING to fix the problem.Best to wait 1 or 2 model years before buying a model re-design.

    Hi,

If anyone bought 2007 Honda Accord Lx and Toyota Camry LE around the philadelphia area, can you please tell me what you paid for it. So far I got the quote for Camry LE 20,000 and for Honda LX it is 19,400 plus tax and tags for both. I think it is high, So if any one bought any one of them recently and can tell me the price, I would appreciate your reply.

    Thanks

Did you purchase a EX L 4cyl,4 door sedan? Did you get an Out the door price of $19.800? Where did you get your deal? The dealerships I've been to in No. VA won't go below $22,000. Thanks for your help.
  • deli1deli1 Member Posts: 4
I'm in the buying process now, and the best quote I got was $23,512, including floor mats and dest charge (no navi). It seems OK, but I've seen other's on these boards who have gotten better deals. I'm in LA. Anyone else buy a V6 EX-L recently?

    Hi,

I know that the summer sale is the best time of the month and I was just wondering what other's have paid in the philly area. I am looking at the Accord SE v6. Can anyone explain to me which dealerships are the ones to target with the most inventory? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks,

I'm in the Atlanta area and have one quote for $19,900 OTD and another @$19,500 OTD (7% sales, so ~18,600 and ~18,225 w/o tax) for a 4 cyl. manual Special Edition sedan--but I'm pretty sure the second quote is for a car they don't actually have.

Based on the past few pages of this forum, these seem like reasonable offers (although I'm not sure how to adjust EX/LX prices to the SE). So: would something like $19K OTD (~17,500 w/o tax) be a reasonable target price? Or am I not aiming low enough? Or should I run to the deal as-is?

I just bought a V6 EX-L in the Chicago area. Paid $22,650 before tax, including destination, mud guards, and wheel locks.

I bought this exact car for 22,600 including destination, wheel locks, and mud guards. Call Norm Reeves Honda in Cerritos.
  • deli1deli1 Member Posts: 4
Thanks for the info kavarell. I'm waiting for a quote from Norm Reeves now. Lowest bid so far is $22,167 incl destination (from Long Beach Honda).

hey anyone know of any dealers in georgia louisiana texas or new mexico that offer really cheap v4 automatic accords any trim
  • scottrlscottrl Member Posts: 15
Hi Deli1. Your lowest quote for 22,167 is that for an EXL-V6 sedan or couple? NAV or no-NAV? Thanks.
  • deli1deli1 Member Posts: 4
It's for a sedan EX-L V6 w/o navi. I was mistaken on the quote, when I add dest charge, it is $22,762.

Norm Reeves got back to me with $22,600, incl dest charge, just as the other poster received.

Looks like they have the best deal so far.

    20,740 + TTL for 2007 Accord Coupe 2.4L EX-L
  • twingmamatwingmama Member Posts: 6
I've tried going to the dealerships and I've tried emailing. I've gotten ridiculously high prices. The Fairfax Honda was rude to me and tried to tell me that the Invoice price was $25,000 and I was crazy if I thought I could get a EXL for much less than $24,000. I told them about the prices I heard you all getting and he said that was not true. I would appreciate any suggestions of which dealerships you found that gave you a good price. Thanks
  • rrd008rrd008 Member Posts: 10
I have agreed to buy a 2007 EX 2.4L sedan in the philly area for $20,500 and thats with going to all area dealers and negotiating prices. I think its a good deal considering all the dealers i spoke with didnt even want to go near $20K (which was my target price). I got all the BS about how they were doing me a favor by giving me $150 below invoice...thanks but no thanks. I guess if you want the color and trim you want , you have to be willing to pay a little more....or risk the chance of the car you've been eyeing buying bought from right under you (which has happened to me 3 times in the past few weeks). These cars are going fast and i doubt there will be much selection in September.....

Price for VP Automatic - OTD $16600 + TTL from Open Road 3 hours from home, $17120 + TTL from Rahal 5 minutes from home. Any other dealers I should contact for great price? Opinions on Open Road? Thanks

Located in the mid-atlantic states PA/MD/VA area.. What prices are people geeting on the Accord V-6 EX-L with Nav?
Anyone do any better than $22600 than the one person mentioned on the V-6 EX-L non nav model?? I would assume to add 2k more to the $22600 quote to be at $24600 with Nav; anyone able to do better than this?
  • runfast1runfast1 Member Posts: 1
$22,617(incl dest) + TTL for 2007 Accord Sedan V6 EX-L auto no navi in Twin Cities, MN. Used email to solicit offers until lowest offer received -- from largest dealer as it turns out -- and none would match/beat lowest. Offers varied quite a bit among 7 dealers. Must be variances in inventory or other factors unique to each dealership. Thanks for all the help from this forum on what to buy and then how to make the deal a fair one.
