My deal is for 23900 (21,700 + (9.2%)tax + lic) for 4 cyl. Any one got better deal in bellevue please let me known.
MT = manual transmission
Or did you mean is there another difference besides the transmission?
Been a discount off MSRP of $27,995 to $22,700. Save about $5,300.
A great deal if you can save $6000.00 off sticker.
Thanks
The Maxima is here: Maxima Prices Paid
And the Altima is here: Altima Prices Paid
what dealer did you go to?
1) Should I get extended warranty at all?
2) How much are you guys paying?
Here's another alternative, Fighting Chance, if you want to get quotes yourself.
Some of the warehouse clubs, Costco & Sam's Club, have negotiated rates, but you'll likely do better with some effort using emails.
If you can travel, send several emails to dealers in nearby cities.
I purchased brad new Accord EX V6 L with Navigation with odometer readings of 372 miles for 25800 out the door in Naperville, IL [Valley Honda.]
I want to know your opinions as how is this deal was ? Fair/Good/Excellent
Please let me know.
Thanks
No options added /No extra warranties.
The new Accord didn't impress me so I am ready to go for a 07 SE 4 cyl AT. I reviewed this board and found that the targeting price should be around $17500+TTL, or even lower. Anyone can comment if it is a fair price? I am at Toledo, OH. Thanks.
I'd say that's a GREAT deal. What was the purchase price excluding TTL?
They are quoting very low prices for Accords (especially LX) and when you visit them they do not honour their quotes.
They have literally taken off all the basic accords from their lots and try to sell you high end accords with lots of options.
When you call them they will say that they have cars at the OTD cost they are offering on the internet.
I have been there twice (even though I live 90 min drive from their dealership). The second time I called them from my way less than 5 min to their dealership. They confirmed again but when I reached there they did not show me the car instead tried to sell me an SE or LE with $2000 worth extra options.
They are however still offering the low internet quotes even though they DO NOT HAVE ANY ACCORD LE on their lots.
They say we can get it from other dealers but you will have to pay extra 1000 or 2000 bucks for that.
So guys DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT OURISMAN HONDA at LAUREL!!!!!
Moreover, in my experience they are the the worst, most rude and unethical dealers.
BEWARE!!!!!!!

See dealer for complete details.
Found a dealership/salesperson I liked and he indicated this car would be $2500 to $3000 off sticker (and that it was $4000 off last month). Sticker is $27,995. I was ready to make a deal and he suggested I get 3 quotes from other dealers in the area and they would beat the lowest one. I got 6 quotes ranging from $25,500 to $22,914! That's over a $2,500 difference in price among the dealerships!
Wish me luck tomorrow in getting them to beat the lowest price. If they don't, I guess I've got a back up plan. Happy shopping!
Cheers
Ok, well first of all of the EX with V6 have leather. So the model that this offer is for already has leather seats so that's not an issue.
Even though this is a lease, you need to negotiate the price just like it was for a sale. In other words, what the ad said is that $27,995.00 MSRP and maybe they would deduct $2,499.00 if you had "super preferred credit". That would get the price down to just $80 over invoice. However, you need to find out with your credit how much over invoice you would pay.
Then on top of that, the fine print says doc fees aren't included. The dealer could tack on a $600 doc fee and some window etching for $300, etc.
So before you talk lease, negotiate the sales price down as low as you can go. Pit dealer against dealer. Once you get the price down as low as you can go, then Honda Finance (if that's who you're using) can run the lease terms.
The dealer DOES NOT want you to negotiate the way I just mentioned. They want to dangle that $239 per month fee out in front, get you to say yes, and then they tack on the hidden fees and extras and they'll tell you the $239 didn't cover them.
Usually sales tax will be added to your payment each month and that's to be expected. But look closely at anything other than that.
Hope that helps.
FYI, re extended warranty, don't buy it from the F&I office at delivery, if you do want the original HondaCare extended warranty. Get it online from either http://www.myhondawarranty.com/ (Saccucci Honda) or http://www.hondawarrantyinfo.com/ (Bernardi Honda). They're both the same price. You don't have to buy it immediately either; you can get before your car hits 6K miles. For example, a 2007 I4 EX is only $840 ($0 ded.) or $940 ($100 ded.) for a 96 months/120K miles warranty.
FWIW, Consumer Reports generally don't recommend extended warranties unless the make/model that you're buying has a history of problems. Besides, it's a Honda!

David
I am looking to buy Accord SE Auto this weekend. I am looking for this in Dallas/Austin/San Antanio /Houston area. can you please tell me the best prices in this area and dealership name.
Thank you Very Much,
1. First month's payment which should be the $239
2. Security deposit---this is legitimate and it should be refundable if you abide by your lease terms
3. AHFC upfront acquisition fee---Who knows how much this is, but AHFC is Honda Finance, and whatever they charge you're not going to be able to negotiate if you go through them for the lease.
4. The balance of the $3,333 is capitalized cost reduction is just another name for a down payment. Again this is legitimate. And whatever the amount of it is, it helps to reduce your monthly payment just as a down payment helps to reduce your monthly payment on a standard loan.
So the $3,333 isn't the issue. What is the issue is that the dealer is likely to say well the $239 covers the lease payment for the car. But as the fine print says, "base monthly payment does not include tax, license, title, registration, documentation fees, options, insurance and the like".
This basically lets them add on some unknown number onto the $239/month, so you don't know what you're paying per month until they slide the contract under your nose for you to sign.
So my suggestion is to approach this differently. Just say, lease aside, what's the lowest out the door price you can do on an EX-V6. Don't even talk about the lease up front. And if you have other Honda dealers in your area get quotes from them as well. You can look in this forum to see what other people have been paying nationwide for out the door prices for the same car. This way you can find which dealer has the doc fees and the hidden fees, etc, buried into their price.
Then once you've found the dealer who is willing to give the lowest price, then start talking about the lease. If you go through Honda Finance, the lease will be the same terms no matter which dealer you use. But Honda Finance will always calculate your payment based upon the TOTAL out the door price you've negotiated. The better your price the lower the payment and vice-versa.
Does that help? I hope I wasn't confusing. But that's the way, I've done leases in the past as well as what I've read is the best way to do it.
1. Negotiate the total vehicle price first.
2. Have them run lease terms after that.
Anyway, thanks again. If anything else occurs to you, I'm all ears (or in the case of the internet, eyes).
Vehicle: 2007 Accord EX-L Manual I4
MSRP: 24,845
Invoice 22,568
Negotiated Price; 19,300 + 300 Doc Fee = 19,600
I think I left a couple hundred on the table
I have not picked it up yet, but if they pull anything funny (which does not appear to be the case, the really want to get rid of the car so they can get an additional 08 Accord), Ill just walk. Not in any rush to get a new car.
