Will pay reg/doc fee etc up front. But 0 down other than that.
They are saying $719/month (taxes and Audi Care included)
Seems really high, and we can't get it to work out with those numbers on how they are getting $719 month.
Thanks so much!
If you add $860 for AudiCare and $695 for the acquisition fee, I still get only $611.mo.+tax or around $660/mo.
The base money factor is .00134 and the B-tier markup is .00040, so that yields a base MF of .00174.. Looks like they are charging you the D-tier rate, or more likely, just marking that rate up for extra profit..
So, about $60/mo. too much, plus an extra .00035 bump on the MF.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!! We were coming up with something close to the $660 number as well, but thought we were going crazy. Really, really appreciate your assistance. Happy New Year!

Politely but firmly tell them you won't sign any deal that includes an inflated MF. Then, reach out to a second Audi dealer - competition will help you get the best deal.
Audi Q5 premium plus/ tech-premium package with $800 wheels. Hi guys, This is my first time leasing a vehicle. Currently negotiating the price and maybe it could be somewhere near $45,500 or $44,500. Planning to lease for 36months 12K/year. Registering in Alaska which will exclude the tax. Can anybody tell me what is a good MF for this deal? And what numbers are going to be good or fair lease.
And also Im planning to trade in my 2012 premium sound package Volkswagen Beetle and pay any down that's required.

Thanks got to ask you one more. Should I trade my beetle for down payment? or should I take off more from the sticker? What do you recommand?
We do not recommend using trade equity to lower the cap cost. Have the dealer cut you a check for the equity or use it for multiple security deposits to buy down the money factor.
Could you please provide the residual and money factor for 2015 Q5 prem plus 3.0 with 12k miles for 36 months in New Jersey as well as the 2015 Q5 prem ples 2.0? Thanks.

I confirm the base MF of .00118 - the base residual is 51% for 42/12 on the 3.0T P+; are you by chance getting AudiCare? That would add 1% to the residual.
With your MSRP and selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $585.48/mo.
I am given this offer for a 2.0 premium plus with tech package. I requested the quote with Audi Care. (Location: Los Angeles) (36 months term lease, 12k miles/year)
MSRP is $47,930 Lease Price is $43,000 Due at Signing: $497.00 Payment 35 months x $598.40 + tax = $652.26 MF: .00105 RV%: 55%
With Audi Care (i think its $860) added to the lease selling price, my calculation for the pre-tax monthly payment is $560.

Your calculation is correct, assuming that $43K is not just the selling price, but also the CAP cost. But, with only $497 due at signing, it looks like they've capitalized the 1st payment and acquisition fee, at least.
I think if you add ($695 + $560) plus sales tax to your CAP cost, you'll come out pretty close to their number.
You were right. The $43k does not include the acquisition / doc / registration / audi care etc fee With all the fees added up, the selling price became somewhere above $45k.
I wonder what would be called a good deal for the 2015 model now. Is it crazy to talk down to a deal with selling price at $42k (including all fees)? Or should I wait for the 2016 model (don't know when it will be released ...)

You are getting close to 10% off sticker already, which is very strong for an Audi - we normally see transaction prices about 4-6% off sticker.
However, if you don't ask, you don't get -- see what the dealer says about $42K.
Lease numbers on the 2016 are almost certain to be worse (higher residual, but higher MF to offset).
I'm looking at either a used 2015 Q5 TDI premium plus or 2015 Q5 TDI Prestige. What are the RV and MF? What about the registration and acquisition fees...how do those change?

We don't have the numbers for used cars. If they are 2015 service loaners or demos, they may be eligible for the new car program, but you'd have to check with the dealer. If they aren't eligible, they would likely be more expensive to lease than a new one.
In VT considering a 2016 Audi Q5 3.0T Premium Plus lease, 12 or 15k/mo, prob 36 mos. MSRP $52,180. They have one on the lot. What would a good deal look like on this right now? I might end up buying at the end - not sure. Thanks!
