Ask them what MF they are using (should be .00001) and what the net cap cost is.

We recommend against a cap cost reduction (aka down payment) - if the car is stolen or totaled, you lose that money.

That's what I got as well. Right now with tax I'm at 229/mo. I know they were behind on sass this month and did everything they could to get me to sign that day. I'm just worried about being locked in for 48. You think it's a good deal?

I'm not a big fan of leases beyond the length of the warranty, and lots of things can change in your driving habits and needs over that period of time.

I've been in discussion with a few dealers looking at Passat leases and have a few questions. A few posts up the MF is listed at .00001 but the last one is .0001. This seems like a big jump (x10) for just a few days in July. Can you confirm the current values? I'm mostly interested in the base S or maybe Limited unless there are particularly good incentives on other trims.

Perhaps a naive question, but is it possible to negotiate on the lease price for the nationally advertised deals just like any other normal lease/sale or are those less flexible? I've seen some variation in prices from different dealers in my area - Los Angeles.

The money factor is .00010. New program started July 7th, so yes.. sometimes a few days will make a difference.

What are the latest MF/RV/incentives for either 36/12K or 36/15K.

Since it's EOM they want to close a deal w/ us today, and I want to make sure it's a good deal.

So far the CC is 20535 negotiated. We had offered $1200 down, but I'm not clear on if that's already been reflected in CC yet. They said discount of 4600 off MSRP, I'm assuming that's before my CC buydown?
