Revision to above: Disregard previous 3 posts. Here's what I realize I need:

Residual value, Money Factor, Invoice price and Incentives/Lease Cash, etc.for the following 3 models in Ft Lauderdale, FL, 3 year lease, 10,000 mile, Automatic transmission:

2015 Passat Sport
2015 Passat SE with Sunroof and Navigation
2015 Passat Limited.

All three have a money factor of .00010

36/10 residuals and lease cash:

Sport & SE - 48% and $3500 lease cash
Limited Edition - 54% and $15000 lease cash

You can use the pricing tools at Edmunds to get the invoice price - use the "make / model / year" tabs at the top of the page.

Thanks for the quick reply. You meant Limited $1500 lease cash right? So, does that mean the lease cash is deducted from the MSRP and then figure the price from there or does that come off after the negotiated price? I know historically, I looked at the Invoice price and kind of used that as a starting point. Can you clarify? thanks.

Oh .. whoops. Yes, $1500 lease cash.

Lease cash is deducted from the best price you can negotiate.

I keep seeing $1000.00 cash card for the Passat. Is that something I would also get in addition to the 3500 lease cash figured in? Can't tell if it's for all models.

Can someone tell me what is the LEAST amount of mileage available for a lease? How would low mileage lease affect the payments? My 78year old mother has an older Passat with low miles and great condition, except for its age. It currently is having problems with AC starting to blow hot on one side randomly. I think it might be better for her to lease than to put any of her savings down on a car. She is on a fixed income and maybe it would be better to make lease payments even if she has to use her savings to do so. If she drives even 6k miles a year I'd be surprised. We don't live nearby, so it would be hard to help her buy a used car at a good fair price. She wants a Passat, automatic, no bells or whistles required. She is in FL. I don't see any current lease incentives. Will VW be coming out with incentives due to the current negative news about them? Any guidance is appreciated.

The lowest mileage allowance on VW leases is 10K/yr.

2015 Passat Wolfsburg is .00001 MF and 49% residual for 36mo, 10K/yr.
$4000 dealer lease cash on that model.

I currently have a 2013 vw passat with 65,000 miles on it, My lease payment on that is 474 a month for 36 month with 10k allowed. I am a Marine Corps veteran and unexpectedly had to travel alot so i racked up a ton of mileage on the lease.I had negative equity from a passat before that i let the dealer buy me out of. The current car as listed in KBB as worth 9900 in the condition it is in. Few scratches on the rear bumper. My lease ends october 26th. The lease buyout is 14626 without the taxes. I have spoken to one dealer who has told me that the best they cold do is 399 a month. Please advise me of any other things i should know about when negotiating I know that i have 2000 loyalty credit which will lower the cars msrp Any help would be appreciated. Im looking at the 2015 passat limited edition 36/12k Thanks ~Jack

You are 30,000 miles over your allotment - that's $6000, give or take (assuming .20/mile penalty). Hard to bury that into your next lease.

Negotiate the lowest selling price you can on the new car ... the new $2000 loyalty credit should offset some of the pain from the previous lease. Then factor in the mileage penalty.

The 36/12 lease numbers on the 2015 Passat Ltd Ed are .00001 and 52%, with $3000 lease cash.

You sure you aren't going to need 15K on your next lease, or is all the extra driving behind you now?
