2016 F-Type Base Coupe Auto 36/10 Lease Italian Racing Red Metallic Paint Performance Seat package 19" Orbit Wheels Option Premium + Vision Pack Extended Leather Pack MSRP: $78,033 Cap Reduction: $11,705 NET Cap Cost: $66,328 Residual: $48,380 MF Per Month: $156.00 Sales Tax (Texas): $4145 (rolled into monthly - adds roughly $115 per month) Other Fees: Not Broken Down Yet, But Will Be Available Tomorrow
Only thing I pay at signing is $760 (first month) and that's it. $760 per month all-in afterwards. What do you guys think?
.00136 MF and 62% residual If I roll the tax in, I get about $731/mo. If the other fees add up to about $1000, then the numbers are right.
KYFDX: How are you getting $731? What am I doing wrong in my calculations. I get $770 with the Residual and MF. Are you using $66,328 as the number for the sales tax? Are you using 6.25% for tax? If there is more room to squeeze, I sure as hell will try.
I used the number you gave me ($4145) and added it to the CAP cost.
I still don't see how you're getting $731....here is my math:
MSRP: $78,033 Cap Reduction: $11,705 Resdiual: $78,033 x 0.62 = $48,380 Depreciation: ($78,033 - $11,705) - ($48,380) = $17,948 Interest/MF: ($66,328 + $48,380) x (.00136) = $156 Sales Tax (Texas): $66,328 x 6.25% = $4145
I am still getting $769; please help me what I'm doing wrong and why I'm not getting $731 like you. I would like to know so that in the future Im calculating accurately.

I'm not familiar with Texas leases but, if I understand it correctly, I'm getting around what you are getting. Just thought I would help with a Sanity check.

I must have had a typo entering numbers the first time. I can't get that number now...
But, the sales tax is due upfront. If you roll it in, it's added to the CAP cost, and subject to the money factor, so that raises the finance portion slightly.
With an adjusted CAP cost of $70,473.50 (including the sales tax) $613.70 depreciation (this includes the tax) $161.64 finance charge $775.34 total.

Fantastic, so my deal of $760 per month all-in is really really strong (only thing I pay at signing is $760 for first month). Plus, the kicker, they are even covering the cost of delivering the car to me from San Antonio to Houston

Once again Michaell and Kyfdx come through for another vehicle for me. At the end of 2014, with their help, I got a deal so good on a Q50 Infiniti that I was in an article in the New York Times.
This time around, I looked at SEVERAL vehicles, but the Jaguar F-Type ultimately was the deal that was "too good to be true". With the assistance of Michaell and Kyfdx, I was able to know residuals, MF's and pricing strategies. The vehicle in the picture was delivered today, in front of my home, via enclosed trailer; the dealership paid for that. I was able to negotiate this F-Type down to $757 with $0 due at signing and $0 down; the vehicle has a window of $78,033.
Thank you again Edmunds, Micahaell and Kyfdx; you guys are brilliant!

They took damn near $28,000 off the car. I am not sure what August numbers are, but based on July numbers, if you can weasel them for a sales tax incentive, you could get this car for UNDER $700 per month all-in with $0 due and $0 down. This is literally insane. If I didn't just get into an F-Type, I'd go get that car today.
The color combo is probably what drove the price reduction that deep, but who cares, it's an F-Type R! If anyone grabs it, I want reference credit
Hi all, I am looking for the new August figures that were released ystrdy as well (i.e. MF, RV). -- specifically for 2016 F-type R convertible looking at 24- & 33-month lease options
Anyone know figures or how to calculate one-pay lease (2-yr) for same vehicle???
Michaell you're the man with this stuff! and glad I found this forum. I'm in New England region but looking at vehicles in Midwest & Southeast (I haven't run into residency restrictions as yet).

Looks like they are running a 33 month special on the 2016 Base F-Type Coupe with Automatic. I see a 65% residual for 10K miles. Can you please share the MF for the 33 month/10K term on the base F-Type with Automatic? Thanks.
