  • Level S, sorry i forgot to mention it. Also if possible can you model a payment. Based on Edmunds prices I was able to get a Price Promise Price $14609 ($3236 in savings) . so MSRP is 17845. If I was to lease this for 24 months, 12k per year how much are my payments? NY state. Thanks!

No 2015 numbers for the Sentra yet.

    2014 Sentra S 24/12 - 65% for CVT, 66% for Manual. .00003 MF

With your MSRP and selling price, I get a pre-tax payment of $128.19.

  • Can I get Sentra SV numbers for October? Residual % and Money factor in New Jersey? Do they run 10k or do they start from 12k? I would like to have the lowest possible. Are there any rebates or dealer cash for this month?

What would be the mark up on MSRP should I expect? 6%?

    .00003 and 56% for 36/10.

No lease incentives that I see.

That's possible - not all brands offer 10K lease terms (I know Honda doesn't in most areas of the country)

Your dealer is correct on both counts, residual and no 10K/yr allowance.
Money factor is as quoted above.

Thanks. The dealer is quoting .00031 for 36 and .00043 for 24 month in So Cal. This is way off from the .00003 you quoted. Is the dealer padding the MF here?

Sure looks like it.. unless you don't qualify for top tier rates.

We rarely see Nissan dealers markup the money factor. There could be a regional difference, but that seems doubtful. I'd check it against another local dealer.

  • Can you check my numbers and verify the available rebates on this? I'm looking at a 2015 Sentra SV, MSRP $19495 in So Cal, tax rate 8%.

Car selling price is $15993 residual $11502.05 (59%), I show on Edmunds and Nissanusa.com a $1400 lease bonus cash and $500 extra bonus cash available for this lease.

Dealer quoted 59% residual for 24 month 15k lease, and .00043 MF on 24 month. Where should my payments be assuming only first pmt down, and rolling the $595 acquisition fee and $300 in license/dlr fees in?

I confirm the 59% residual for 24/15, but the base MF is .00003; your dealer is marking that up on you for extra profit.

If I use $16,888 as the net cap cost (sell price + acq fee + dealer fee), then the payment with 8% tax is $255.55/mo with the .00043 MF and $243.29/mo with the .00003 MF.

I do not have any information on the incentives, but it is likely that it is already factored into the selling price you've been offered.

    The net cap cost should be $14988 (19495-3502 discount-1400 lease cash-500 bonus cash + 595 acq fee + 300 est license/dealer fee

the rebates were posted on edmunds as well as nissanusa.com so I am confident they are good.

I I will work on the MF more but want to confirm the rest of the math is correct.

Wow .. $160/mo with tax for a car that stickers at $21K is an outstanding deal.

I might have to consider the Sentra when my Hyundai lease is up next year.
