I just in bmwusa.com that there is a 2000 buildout allowance. Will this have a different MF and Residual? I see you stated buildout allowance is gone so wanted to be sure.

The information we have doesn't show it; but, that's not a definitive answer. I would suggest you check with the dealer.
Michaell (or anyone else), would you happen to to know the current residuals? Trying to lease a 2015 BEV for 30-36 months 10k-12k mi/yr. I'm casting a wide net and want to make sure I know residuals and can do all my homework to simplify communications.

Also, what is a reasonable range for doc fees?
Thanks for your time!
59% / 58% for 30/10 and 30/12
Doc fees vary by state. Some states cap them (CA = $80, NY = $75), others charge truly frightening amounts - I've seen doc fees in Florida of $800-900. I pay around $500 here in CO.
Anyone know whether sales tax will have to be paid on the $2,000 buildout cash and/or on the credit given by BMW Financial Services for the $7,500 tax credit? The vehicle will be registered in Kentucky, but I have been looking in nearby states and have gotten varying answers from dealers. Thanks!

BMWFS gets the credit as the owner of the car, and passes it along in the form of a customer incentive (just like the buildout cash).
In most states (including KY, I think), those factory to consumer incentives are taxed.
Hi. Any info on MF and residuals for 2015 i3s for May? I'm looking for 24 and 30 months with 12k miles in a REX. Do you know if the $2000 build out is still valid? Thanks

BMW numbers are valid through today, 5/2/16.
New numbers should be available later this week.
Some limited information has become available:
2015 i3 REX for 30/10 - .00138 and 64%
No 24 month numbers yet.
$2000 buildout allowance and $7500 lease credit
So the residual for 30/12 would be 62% or 63%? That's a big difference from April. From the national offer on BMW's website today, I calculated the 36/10 residual as 58%.

The finance manager confirmed the 63% RV for both 24- and 30-month leases at 12k, but he said the MF went up also, to .00180. (He showed me a BMWFS table with the .00180 MF for 740+ credit rating. The RVs went way up from April to May on 2015 — maybe the MFs did, too? Can anyone confirm the .00138 MF for May?

Current I am looking at a 2015 demo with 5k miles. Any advice on the deal? The money factor quoted is 0.00168 - is that too high?
MSRP: $55,300 Selling: $44,700 Lease term: 36/10 RV = 58% MV = 0.00168 $7,500 Lease Cash and $2,000.00 Buildout included in payment.
$289/Month
0 Down but $289 (First month) + $925 (Aquisition) + $250 State DOC fee and $33.50 for title fee + sales tax at signing.
MF is marked up - base is .00138 this month. I confirm the 36/12 residual of 58%
Note that the residual will be manually adjusted to account for the miles - around .20 per mile, or $1000.
What state and tax rate is this? I can't use your numbers to get to their payment ... confirm the adjusted cap cost after all the incentives are taken into consideration.

And how did they arrive at the cap number? If you subtract the incentives from your selling price, you're at about $35K. Where does the extra $2K come from?

Ohio collects the tax upfront, so maybe it's in the CAP cost?
Mike, Could you take a look at the quote provided and run thru your lease calc? I ran it thru a calc I modeled from Lease Hacker as well as the Lease Hacker calc. I came up with a monthly of $202 pre-tax. This BMW dealer wants $259 pre-tax. Where is the disconnect? I suspect that their "Tot Cap Reduction" is less than what it should be. Thanks, randall

It is. The $3995 you're giving them goes to the bank fee, license and doc fees, and first payment. The remainder is added to the rebate of $7500 for the cap reduction.
I get the same payment with their numbers. Nothing hidden here, other than the $1204 for the "acq fee" seems high. Base fee is $925 - what else is in that number?
more info... Talked with Sale Mngr. "Tot Cap Reduction" is Fed Tax Credit ($7500) + Dn Pmt ($3995) - Lic+Doc ($500) - ACQ Fee ($1204) - State Tax on Fed Tax Credit and Dn Pmt ($897).
Is this the way it works? Lowering my Cap Reduction by subtracting: Lic, Doc, ACQ Fee, and State Tax on Fed Credit and Dn Pmt ????

I want to confirm the numbers here once more if I can as there has been a lot of back and forth on this thread. 2015 BEV (non-REx) is MF .00138. For a 30/10 as quoted above, the residual is 64%? Minus 1% for 12k miles? And a $7500 lease credit plus $2000 buildout allowance?
Lastly, a confirmation on the 24/10 if you have them. Thanks a lot guys.

Thanks Michael. It seems like the potential for a good deal is out there, if a dealer is willing to play ball. I'll let you guys know if something happens.

If you got the money to do multiple security deposits, that will really bring the payment down
Any updates for the July numbers? Specifically looking for 30mo/12k on 2015 and 2016. Thanks
2015 - .00137 and 63%. $7500 lease credit and $2000 buildout allowance
2016 - .00137 and 65%. $7500 lease credit
Thanks for the quick response and info. No buildout allowance on the 2016?
None that I see. Gotta encourage folks to get into the 2015's, am I right?
Dealer is claiming 62% residual. The only BEV they have is a shadow edition so they are sticking pretty close to sticker plus the low residual and jacked up MF make it a pass. Nice car though

62% is correct for 30/12. We must have been reading from the wrong column.
If a dealer is offering $10K off of sticker on a 2016 i3, can you take the MSRP of $49,995 minus the $10K = $39,995 and then structure you lease from that point? So $39,995 Negotiated price and the take the $7,500 Lease Credit and $1,000 Build Credit for an adjusted CAP price of $31,495??? Or is the dealer factoring in the $7,500 and $1,000 and then reducing the price and additional $1,500 to come up with the $10,000 off and thus the adjusted CAP is the $39,995?
I think I may have just answered my own question. Looks like they are taking $2,500 off sticker and applying the $7,500 credit. I guess I was dreaming! ;o)
