Going in today for lease i3 rex. I see some contradictory numbers for May.

What is the incentives, lease rate, MF, residual for 2014 and 2015 i3 ReX 30/12k for May?

    2014 - .00125 and 57%. $7500 lease incentives

    2015 - .00129 and 57%. $4875 lease incentives

We only show $4875 for 2015 models. If there was a mid-month change in the incentives, we wouldn't know about it.

what about 24 & 36 month residual on '15 models?
    60% for 24/15 and 50% for 36/15

    .00129 MF
What are numbers for 14 and 15. 10k/24 and 10k/36. Thanks.

Helps if I look at the right column.

    63% for 24/10 and 53% for 36/10.

    What's the MSRP?

MF is marked up on you, as well, so don't think the dealer is losing money on this deal.

The buildout cash is only available for the 2014 MY i3; if you are working a deal for a 2015, only the $4875 lease credit applies.

Hi, I am having push back on the $7,500 in incentives off the leftover 2014s. One dealer says they double checked the BMW bulletin and it's currently $4,875 for them. Also bmwusa.com website also shows the same. That website shows zero incentives on the 2015s.

Is there any truth to this or am I being taken for a ride?

The information we have (valid 5/1/15 through 6/30/15) shows $2000 buildout cash and $5500 lease credit for 2014 i3's.

For 2015, it's only the $4875 lease credit available.

Check with multiple dealers .... and see if you get a consistent story.

    Hello!
Wanted to get your opinion on the following deal for a 2015 BMW i3 REx. I'm in Dallas, TX

    MSRP = 54,000
    FedTax Credit applied = $7500
    Autonation price = $46,500

After sales tax, reg. fees, title, doc fee, etc, total = 49,767

    For a 36 month / 15k mile lease, they offered 2 deals:
    - Option 1 = $788 due at signing @ $789/month
    - Option 2 = $5k due at signing @ $661/month

+ 1250 Texas Tax Grant (TERP)

    Any thoughts? Thank you!!!

Michaell, I just found out the BMW website changes what it shows for lease credit and build-out cash based on location. That sucks for me, because in WI it is only $4875 lease credit, whereas in say CA it shows $5,500 + $2,000 build out. That's quite a difference!

You are correct... .we only have full numbers for the Eastern and Western regions.

What numbers we have for the Central/Southern regions do show $4875 lease cash and $500 build-out cash. That is a huge difference.

So the obvious next question is what options do I have to buy a car from Eastern/Western regions? Do you know which states those are? For $100/mo less, that may be worth it for me. Or is shipping the car a possibility?

I'm surprised no one has mentioned these deals don't apply to the Midwest. Trust me, there ARE people here. We even have large cities like Chicago! ;)

You'd probably have to get as far East as Philadelphia for the East region. It's possible those rebates would be residency restricted, but you'd have to ask a dealer that.

FYI, I heard from a dealer that BMW is taking away the lease credits in June (Monday). I find this hard to believe, but take it for what you will.

Anything is possible, but we won't know until the new numbers come out and find their way to us.

Consider also that it could be a scare tactic to get you to sign a contract this weekend.

Thank you but are you sure that $7,500 is valid for the Midwest region? 2014s were at $4,875 in lease credits in May for the Midwest. My guess is the $7,500 remains only for East/West regions and the Midwest still gets the shaft.

Hi All. Looking at a 2014 non-REx in Florida (MSRP 52,200 + 7% tax). Dealer is throwing out all kinds of crazy lease number. Can you give me all the incentives for a 24-month lease? Have the $500 build-out and $4,875 from the BMW website (take it no $7500 for FL?). What is the MF and residual currently and is there and other numbers that are important to know that the dealer may be playing with? Can you estimate the paments? Thanks!

.00125 and 60% for 24/15 on the 2014 i3. I show $7500 in lease incentives, but that seems to be a regional offering.

We'd need to know the negotiated selling price to model a payment.

Should have thought of that to start with... Yeah, unfortunately I don't seem to get the $7500 here in FL. Doing to call BMW and confirm.

Neg $44,000, also looking at 24/10 instead of 15,000 unless it doesn't matter.

    Thanks again!

I would highly recommend the Leasematic app. When I leased my i3 a little over a week ago, I literally sat in the sales managers office with him on the lease worksheet and me punching the numbers into the app to make sure everything was clear and on the level. Information is power, especially in something as complicated as a lease. I left there feeling like I knew EXACTLY what I was getting myself into.

Also a big thanks to Michaell and the rest of the folks posting numbers here.

I always assume $0 cap cost reduction in my calculations.

Please note that is not the same as $0 due at lease signing - you're still responsible for the first payment, bank fee, dealer fee, etc. when you sign the paperwork.

Our numbers are for the middle of the country... and show $7500, as well for the 2015 model. But, that's all lease credit... not $2K build out + $5500 lease credit, like the 2014.

East/West coast numbers may be different, but I doubt it...

Interesting. Does that mean the incentive of $7500 on the 2015's makes that the better deal now? Or are there additional discount on the 2014's to take into consideration.

Interesting. Does that mean the incentive of $7500 on the 2015's makes that the better deal now? Or are there additional discount on the 2014's to take into consideration.

You might be able to get a larger discount from sticker on the 2014's to offset the smaller incentive.

    Hi,
Back here since I might lease a i3,

Is the MF this month 0.00128 like last month. And it looks like the residual on a 36/15K is 50%. Is that right?

    Thanks
