I'm a noob here... when calculating lease payment, where should the acquisition fees, doc fees (any other misc fees?) go into the calculation?

Say if I am looking at 2016 Disco Sport HSE, MSRP $45575 (driver assist + wheel pack + audio pack), using the provided 39/10K numbers (62% and 0.00254). If at MSRP, is the monthly payment $688.44? (9% Tax in CA)
On the other hand, will $600 be a possible number to reach or way too low?

That's about right.. but, you wouldn't want to pay MSRP.

Every $1000 less on the selling price lowers the payment by about $28/mo.+tax.

Put your extra costs wherever they are being paid. If rolling them into the lease, put them in the CAP cost, or if paying them upfront, they don't affect the lease payment calculation.

I've studied the equations a bit and plugged numbers in (I am in California by the way, 9% tax rate where I am at), and based on the numbers, seems like the dealership quoted me 61% Residual instead of 62%, and gave me .00154 MF instead of .00254. If you try those two numbers you should be able to get very close to the $570 number. Could this be dealership's mistake? Or there is a new program coming out?

I am in NY and was quoted .00145MF but with the same residual on the 16 HSE 3 yr lease as well

My wife and I are looking to lease a Disco Sport with max 10k miles per year. There are currently leases quoted on the Land Rover website for $439 a month for an HSE.

Based on the #s quoted, if I work backwards, the risidual value is 62% after 39 months with a money factor of .0021 (5.03%).

Does this number seem consistent with what's out there?
Do you have the money factor and residual for a 39 month lease in Florida with 10k/year?

Is the ad for a 2016 model?

Either way, it's hard to work backwards, unless they disclose the dealer discount or the net cap cost.

Not sure what type of discount to take for the actual selling price. I would really appreciate the info on a 36 month lease with 15K miles per year in NJ. No money down and the taxes in the payments.
