Also, GA sales tax is on the full purchase price of the vehicle.

I'm sorry, I gave you incorrect information. The quote above was for a 36/12000 lease.

In checking with multiple local dealers, the SRT's are selling very near MSRP. As you see, this particular dealer is only offering 1000 off MSRP. Invoice on the car was $48,800. Give or take a few. My deal is with trading in my car which is paid for. My credit score is over 800 so I couldn't figure out why my payment is so high.

I also emailed the salesman after I left and asked for the MF. I just checked my email and he gave me .00266 with a residual amount of $31,232.50. The total cap reduction is $3465.68.

Based on the numbers is that monthly payment accurate? What am I missing? I appreciate your help with this.

Let's walk through the math:

MSRP - $50,375
Negotiated Price - $49,375
Less $3466 trade credit - $45,909
6.25% "ad valorem" tax in GA on entire purchase price - $2869
Net Cap cost - $48,778
MF - .00266
36/12 residual - 62%

Plugging those numbers into my lease calculator gives a monthly payment of $700.20.

Ok, now I'm really confused. You say trade credit is $3466 but they told me they're giving me $5000 for my trade. If you're coming up with $700 how are they giving me $759?

The remainder of the trade equity is probably being used to cover the upfont costs like the acquisition fee.

You'd have to ask the dealer why they get $759 ... I use a home-built lease calculator and plugged in the relevant numbers. I suspect the net cap cost is different from what I am using. You'll need to find out why that is.

Simply showing me $5000 but not actually giving me that much. Gotcha. Thank you so much. You've been very helpful. Seems like the dealer is a little shady and not being completely honest about what I'm paying for.

Ask them to show you their math. If you continue to feel that the dealer isn't being open, reach out to another dealer. It only takes one to make a deal - and the competition should help you get a better deal.

I think I'll move on from this dealer. Just seems like they're hiding 3-4 grand somewhere in the deal.

I don't have any lease numbers on the Challenger SRT 392, so the dealer may actually be telling you the truth in this case.

However, the Charger SRT 392 is using the standard MF, which for Chrysler Financial is around .00160.

42 months is the longest program we show from CC: Standard MF and 58% for 42/10.

69% and standard MF. Don't know the exact number but it's around .00200 before the dealer marks it up.

MSRP is $36,355 and selling price is $31,500 (after $1,855 in dealer discount and $3k of rebates and Third-Party discounts). Looking to bring about $3,600 cash to closing.

What is the Residual and MF I should expect to see for this deal?

I thought it was 59% and .00084, but that doesn't match what I'm being quoted: monthly payment of about $280/mo (including tax) and a 56% residual (which I thought was for 15k/yr leases not the 10k/yr).

Any help greatly appreciated. Thanks.

No difference in the numbers -- 36/12 is .00090 and 54%. Add 1% for 10K

Y is the residual so different than the inquiry prior to mine. His was 36/12 in Texas but his residual was 60%. Does being in a different state really have thousands of dollars of impact on the residual?  Also,  if u could provide numbers for 39/12 on rt, and 36/10, 39/12 numbers for rt scat pack. Thanks

There may have been a miscommunication - there are different numbers for the RT and the RT Plus or RT Plus Shaker.

RT 39/12 - .00070 and 57%
RT Scat Pack 36/10 - standard MF (around .00200) and 60%
RT Scat Pack 39/12 - standard MF and 57%

No information on incentives.

$595 bank fee, dealer fee are two drive offs. Can be rolled into the cap cost.

Their counter was 2999 down plus drive off fees. $270 for a 36/10 lease.
