That's correct, but what is the point in doing that? The money factor allows you to calculate the lease payment without conversion.

Hi - I'm about to pull the trigger on 15' trail hawk lease base 4x4 sticker is 31K and deal is $24,500 sale price, $2500 dwn 36/12 k per year $275.00 per month plus taxes MF .00050 residual = 58% (in California) Is this good or is the residual high?

We only have Chrysler Capital numbers. If the residual is 58%, then that is some other bank.

It's good - a higher residual results in a lower payment. But there is usually a higher MF to offset it.

Thank you. Just left the dealer closest to me and he said the .00055 money factor also plays into a 7.5% interest rate. Tried to tell me that they're both factored into the payment calculation. I've never heard of it being done like that before. I'm shopping another dealer next weekend.
