I'm an getting this deal on a new 2015 Kia k900 with a $57k sticker on a 36 month lease with 10k miles a year. All maintenance included for the term of the lease. I am trading in my current lease in early with rolling $4k negative equity into the deal.

Total due at signing $1000 $450 a month with tax.
Is this a good deal for a $57k car?
On the surface - heck yeah!
Do you know the selling price?
And, what state and tax rate is this?
This is florida with a 7% tax rate. And the deal actually got better.
The final deal is $1000 due at signing $419 a month with tax.

I belive they are selling me the car for $39k
That's an awesome deal. Do you mind sharing the numbers such as sales price, money factor and residual?

Not sure what the money factor was but they discounted the $57k sticker down to $48k, then they applied a $9k rebate bringing the sale price to $39k and change. The residual is around $29k.
I put down a total of $1k at signing and they rolled in around $1800 of negative equity from my trade and the payment is $419 with tax. I think it's an awesome deal for a $57k car and the drive is fantastic.

How do you calculate equity on a lease(positive or negative)?

Just like on a loan - the difference between the trade in value and the payoff value.
A dealer called me this morning. Told me that the invoice was $57,700, which I think was a lie. Said mf was .00204 tier 1. Said residual for 36/12 is 48% and 36/15 is 46%. Said there was $10,000 lease cash. I think they are fudging the numbers but thought I’d share.

Would it make sense to do a 36 month lease to claim the $7200 lease cash then about 2 months in, buy the car at a 60 or 72 mos with a much lower apr?
Also, what are your thoughts on a one-pay lease here?
Thank You
I don't believe there is a one-pay option from Kia.
Yes, there is a logic behind leasing first to qualify for the lease cash, then buying it out. I know of a friend of a friend who did this with a Hyundai earlier this year.
Just saw the new “Special Offer” for the K900. I cant believe that the program actually got worse! I don’t know if Kia just flat out doesn’t know what they’re doing or if they’re intentionally tanking to make the Genesis brand more attractive.
I just received this offer on a '19 K900 VIP from Lou Sobh Kia in Cumming, GA: $7400 rebate from Kia, $7500 discount from dealer; 10k miles/yr.; 49% residual; no mention of money factor, but working backwards on a lease calculator I figured out it's .00365 (8.76% APR); $3500 down - $713/mo.; $5k down - $668/mo.
It's a healthy discount, but the lousy residual and money factor are preventing me from leasing a '19 K900 at the present time. I hope they improve towards the end of summer.
The lease on my '15 Hyundai Genesis Ultimate expired at the end of February, but I'm extending the lease for 6 months. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll ever get a deal like I did on this car: 10k mile/yr; 36 mo./ $3000 DAS; $11000 discount; $334/mo. (including taxes).

The lease programs on the K900 have always been bad; don't expect them to improve anytime soon.
And yeah, nobody is going to replicate their most recent lease deal. Different world we live in, now.
I don't think we'll ever replicate the 2015 leases, mine ends in June and it was 0 down, $505month with tax for 36/12.
I can terminate this month and my dealer has quoted 0 down, $674 month with tax for 36/12 in 41092, Northern Kentucky, for a non VIP, which is $7500 off, plus the $7400 lease cash. Which seems to work out to 48% residual and something like a money factor of .00195ish. I'm pretty sure they're not going to find another $5k to lay on the hood, no one seems to have a bunch in stock at this point, so you're choices are pretty limited.
That seems reasonable, I guess. Quite a bit less than my wife's new X5 and it's new model tax. Although I may extend my current one wait to see what happens with the K900 and G90, what with the new G90 coming this fall, or maybe a Stinger GT2. I was pretty impressed with the Telluride interior too, a bit less with the drivetrain.

I think that’s an insanely high MF for a Kia.
I understand the low residual somewhat but was hoping it would be over 50%.
I think ill I’ll wait until next month OR maybe they don’t sell many and get more aggressive next year

Does adding the VIP package effect the numbers (mf, Residual) at all?
Also, if I were to finance, what is the invoice price on bumping the warranty to 10/100,000 for basic?
Lastly, what do you guys honestly think about the car?
Thank You
