57% for 36/10 on an AWD MKZ. Subtract 1% for FWD and 2% for 39 months.

We have regional MF numbers from Ford this quarter - what state do you live in?

Residual is 60% for 36/12.

The residual for the MKZ, Would you say they're ok? And no worries, you've been incredibly helpful!

It's hard to say. Some manufacturers, like BMW, inflate the residuals to make leasing more attractive. Not grounded in reality, meaning that the actual value of the car is much less than the residual value from the lease.

Other makes, like Audi, use a more realistic residual value, which makes their lease payments a bit higher.

We don't get a lot of questions about Lincoln, so I can't say if the residuals are inflated or not.

I am looking at leasing a 2015 MKZ reserve with all the options. AWD leaning to the 2.0T. 36 or 39 month 10k per year. looking for MF and Residual. if anyone has any inut on deals that are out there would be appreciated.

I think these numbers expire next week, but i just received this info from a dealer in Southwest Florida.

" The 36 month residual at 10,500 miles per year is 52% interest as low as is .25% and the 39 month residual is 50% with an interest as low .5%."

Using your numbers "as is", I get $361/mo + tax, so $399/mo may be a bit high.

Yes, get a full accounting of the $1200 due at signing.

I have a deal on a 2016 Lincoln MKZ hybrid. Can you tell me if this is good? It seems high to me. I have $2500 to add to the cost to get out of my current lease. Looks like they discounted the car to invoice and gave higher rebate, then added my $2500 and then added it again. Seems fishy.

You are right - the numbers are confusing. I don't understand the adding in of the $2500 nor do I understand the difference between the net price and the total financed balance. I suspect one of them is to address the remaining payments of your existing lease, or the negative equity, but the other .... ????

Ask the dealer to explain these to you so you fully understand the math.

What state and tax rate is this?

We have no MF information on Lincoln this month; the 24/10 residual is 59% and 36/10 residual is 51%.

  Thanks so much! Any chance you have the 24mo # too?  Lincoln is playing games on the interest rates for mkz sedans not sure if they're doing the same thing on mkc suv too or not (ex 3.0 interest rate on 24mo but 0.50 interest rate on 36mo). Essentially negates the great rebate on the 24mo mkz.  

PS sorry for posting this initial question and followup in the mkz forum instead of mkc.

Ford is known for having different MF for different lease terms, to incentivize one term over another.

Thanks Michaell, regarding changing the MF to promote different leases...Is it often that Ford can change this every month? For example right now almost all of the lincoln or ford incentives are good thru 7/5/16. Is it reasonable to expect the money factors / residuals won't change until 7/5 as well, or could they keep the rebates the same and monkey with the MF/RES to push certain programs on 6/1? (current lease is up 6/14 trying to decide whether to pull the trigger now on an early bird trade in or wait to see if the #s get better in June for 2016 clearance)

Ford generally updates the residual values each quarter, so I don't expect to see any new numbers until after the current ones expire on 7/5.

MF and incentives, however, can, and often are, changed monthly. Doesn't mean that the numbers will change, only that they may change.
