MSD can be applied to cars using the standard MF. No details on the program, however.

Does the $740 payment include the tax? (guessing it doesn't)
How much is due at signing?
Is this 36mo, 10K/yr?

The acquisition fee is marked up from the $795 base.

The base MF for this model is .00134
It's hard to see if it's marked up without knowing the Net cap cost.

Thank you for you reply. What is the the net cap cost/the only other figure I see gross cap $64586 adjusted cap $63060. The Lease is 36/10 and the tax is $59.94 a month. total payment $800

My calculations are within a few pennies of yours - the adjusted cap cost is the same as the net cap cost.

Also what is the base money factor for tier-1 credit.

That is correct - we don't know the exact number, but it's in that range.

Standard money factor and 52% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr.

We can't calculate a monthly payment without the MSRP and the selling price.

I would assume you could negotiate a discount, but no idea of the market for that car.

I have just started reaching out to dealers and was wondering what kind of figures I should be expecting.

I am looking for a CLS400 4MATIC P-01 36MO 12K/YR lease.
My first question:

1) Should I lease a 2015 model NOW vs waiting 1-2 months for the 2016 given that there are no significant changes? Would I have a significant decrease in my cap. cost? ESSENTIALLY, WHAT'S CHEAPER and how significant of a price difference?

2) I recently got a quote from a local dealer here in NY with the following:

Adj. cap cost 75,531.
Res: 41,815
Rent charge: 5322.95
Inception fee 4436
MONTHLY: 1084.41
Acq fee: 1095

$0 due at signing.

Please share your thoughts and opinions, this is all new to me. Thank you.

2015: .00106 MF and 54% residual for 36mo, 15K/yr
2016: .00124 MF and 55% residual.

Given those numbers, and assuming the selling price will be a lot higher on the 2016 model, your best bet is probably leasing the 2015, now.

How much cheaper? We wouldn't know without comparing MSRP and selling price. You have to negotiate that part.

The longest term that has any support is going to be 48-51 months.

I am looking at 2016 CLS400 for lease. Wonder if new numbers yet out for lease terms and will they get better
for holiday season. Also they are trying to upsell the Matte color cars since this is not a great selling model
should I negotiate as this was just same as regular paint car?

36/15 numbers for 2016 CLS400 - .00124 and 55%

Won't see new numbers until next month. Hard to predict which way they'll move, if at all.

No idea if you can score a bigger discount on the inventory with the matte paint.

I show base MF is .00106 on the AWD model. 57% residual is correct.

I get $757/mo. with those numbers (your money factor).
