Also, my PAC does have the satellite radio option. The antenna does have the etching "SIRIUS" already on it. It's more like an oval style type hub located on the rooftop near the rear hatch.
Satellite antenna. I went to my local dealer and I saw the antenna for satellite on a PT Cruiser (it is the same one - money saving technique, use the same part on multiple vehicles)
Thanks
Doug

BTW, do you know if there is an intake for the Pacifica?
Those higher Sirius radios are described in the Pacifica owner's manual.............
The advantage of the Sirius system is that the Pacifica is already "prewired," it looks, well, factory installed...........
I'm not positive, but the XM radio may not have that "factory" look, particularly if you have to have that awful little "cable" leading from the roof antenna to the liftgate..........That looks so " add-on"...................
I added a aftermarket Sirius Sportster radio so I could bring it in the house. Plus it only cost me 100 bucks and it is great. I got a mind to use touch-up paint on the cable protector! LOL!
BTW you can get an aftermarket XM radio that can be installed insided your dash and it looks factory as it is designed to work with the factory Radio. It is called I think XM direct!

Second, I've searched and searched and there seems to be no other accessory sites on the internet that have additional parts for the pacifica besides the factory items, just curious if anyone else had any luck.
Thanks!
Any ideas? Does Radio Shack sell a compatible headphone? Do I need the remote to be able to listen to the radio while my kids are on the headphones?
If anyone is able to see artist and song title info, please let me know. Thanks!
Waiting for the pics,

According to Tire Rack, the stock 235-65R17's are 29.1" in diameter. The optional 235-55R19's are 24.1" in diameter... so the 19" setup is 5" LESS. With that much difference, there is bound to be a speedo error if you don't change the gears, speed sensor, or whatever.
Has anyone installed either the standard or sport rails? Do they sit in a fixed location or can you place them anywhere along the side rails? are they easy to put on? Can you take them off easily?
Is there another, better option?
Any suggestions or feedback would be great.
Having done that I'am very concerned that those OEM flexi side rails are not strong enough to carry my intended loads (kayaks). For heavier or bulky loads the best solution is to purchase a set of genetic new rails from a rack shop and install them onto the roof, just inside of the existing rails. Those racks are far stronger. A number of my friends are using them on various vehicles with no record of failure.
I can move the crossboars some but the movement is limited by the length of those flexi rails. I would prefere to be able to have the rack bars at least a foot more forward so that I could open the rear hatch without interference from the boats.
Thanks!
good luck
Jay
Did you buy the car used? Because a new one should have come with the headphones and remote.
