I just used the TMV feature to build and price the 330 with the features currently being sold in my area. However, although the tool provided me with the MSRP and TMV, it did not provide me with the invoice price. Does anyone know where I can find this information?? Thanks!

Both kbb.com and carsdirect.com have it. They should be pretty close. I found them useful in my negotiations which resulted in $4,000 off MSRP.

I am very close to purchasing a Lexus RX330 AWD. The MSRP on the car is 44,288. Which includes 625 destination. I have called all the lexus dealership in a 50 mile radius and they are laughing at me when I say I want the car for 40,100. Am I being unrealistic. The car has theNavigation system on it. I went to Wilke, Lawrence, Cherry Hill. They all laughed at me saying that the Navigation cars are more markup. I don't know.

Also they said that the rotor get warped when easily and transmission has problems when downshifting. Does anyone know if that is true.

I also had a question about car washes on saturday. The dealers told me that on saturdays the car washes are free. Now if I buy the car from new york can I only get that car wash at that particular dealer I bought it from.

    hello
I got the same vehicle, with the same MSRP for 40337 four days ago>
  • smartyjonessmartyjones Member Posts: 22
Which dealership did you get that price for? That is a great price. Is it a dealership that offers free car washes on saturdays. Also the dealership that offered me 43000 was from lehigh valley lexus.

    Thanks.

I sold my RX 300 to a private party. They only offered me 12K for it, and I sold it for just under 15K.

    Good Luck

Anyone have any advice on dealers and best prices in Massachusetts?

It appears that most RX330s AWD are going for $39-41K on average.........

Wow. I'm thinking about buyhing this car and it sounds like a great deal. What's your dealership?
  • cincogolfnutcincogolfnut Member Posts: 6
A deal like that for a FWD model! I'd buy one too today if I could get a deal like that. Yeah, tell us which dealership offered you such a sweet deal. This isn't a demo or a trade-in deal, is it?
  • rparisrparis Member Posts: 368
My experience, having bought at both, is Ira or Watertown will give you good deals.

If you e mail me I can give you more specific information. What city are you located in?I have heard that the dealership in Norwoord charges a very large doc fee.
  • xsfoxsfo Member Posts: 17
Quick question, where do you get the emails of the different dealers in your area?
  • spgullspgull Member Posts: 2
I purchased my RX330,AWD,Nav,18"wheels,heated seats, etc. list for $44280, purchased at Lexus of Northboro for $40,190. Real easy to deal with, just do your homework.

We are interested in buying a RX330. It will be mostly for city driving, but once in while we might venture into snow country. My wife will be driving this vehicle most of the time :-). Could you please suggest right configuration? I want to add most of the options, but don't know if she uses it. I would appreciate you can suggest most common features and popular features women would use in this vehicle. Also appreciated is the reference for dealers in SFO bay area.

    thanks

Sorry this took so long. Haven't been to this board in a while since I've been out of town without my laptop. To answer your question, the dealership that gave me $4288 off, was Stevens Creek Lexus in San Jose, CA. Hope you can still use this information. I dealt with the internet manager. Good luck.
  • gardencargardencar Member Posts: 293
If you saw my post before this one, you'll see I dealt with Stevens Creek. Serramonte was also great, they just didn't have my exact configuration. Magnussen was not willing to deal as much as the previous two and the sales manager at Oakland Coliseum Lexus was arrogant and not forthcoming. They actually had the best quote, but when I called them back a couple of days later, after getting back into town, they said their "special" deal had expired.

As far as options, the most common configuration in AWD is 18" wheels, tow, Premium Plus, accessory pack, and heated seats with rain sensing wipers. I like them all. The 18" wheels look awesome, the heated seats are toasty, and the rain sensing wipers are handy. I will occasionally tow with the RX330 so I also bought the larger, 3500# hitch. The wood steering wheel and accents that come with the Premium Plus Package are gloriously classy and the leather is so soft and supple, it's sinful. We opted not to get the factory RES because we would rather have an after market system with the LCD monitors built into the headrests rather than a single drop down screen.

The only option I regret not getting is the NAV system. However,I have a portable Garmin that does double duty on my boat. The other option I've wondered about are the 15 degree swiveling headlights, but those are only available when you get the entire sport package. The only other part of that package I would really want is the powder coated wheels, so it was not worth it, IMO, to me.

Another option is the Mark Levinson audio system, but most posters seem to think it is not quite worth the cost. Good luck. Any way you configure it, your wife is sure to love it!

I was wondering if anyone has purchased in Metro Detroit Michigan. It seems many people have been getting discounts up to $4000 off MSRP but the dealers here are not giving much discount(42,430 + TTL). I did find a deal through fleetrates.com(40,253 + TTL) but I have to purchase from a California dealer and I would prefer to see the car before I actually buy it. Anyone know any dealers giving good discounts within 500 miles of Detroit? The Detroit dealers also said I must purchase the Levinson system if I want the Nav but internet dealers are telling me different. I am looking for a Silver with Grey interior all wheel drive, Nav, Heated seats, 18" wheels, Premium plus package. Any help would be appreciated.

I appreciate your reply. I am just confused with whether to go for AWD or FWD. This will be mostly for city driving.

    Hi,
best deal we found was at Watertown ( email us and we will gve contact)4338 off list,Ira was a close second and Herb Chambers claimed they could have done a bit better.Us emails and selective phone calls to negotiate, and be sure to hold out for best price, end of month might help as well. She loves her Flint Mica AWD 330 and so pleased with deal we got.

Has anyone dealt with Fleetrate.com in the pursuit of thier RX 330 purchase?
  • lightbabelightbabe Member Posts: 5
I'm looking for a sweet deal northeast of Philadelphia. So far, I have just gone out to Doylestown to test drive an RX330. Oh, what a dream it was to drive, too. They don't have what I want on the lot and expect 3 weeks max for factory delivery, shucksdarnitall. The guy was talking turkey, anyway, so I left the paper on his desk. (I didn't give him a clue that I was doing my homework, so won't he be surprised this gal isn't so naive, afterall...LOL)

Anyone recently get a good deal on an RX330 in my area? I'm swaying between 4WD and AWD. Don't need the navvy, but if the price is right, I'll go the extra bucks.

    Gottagetouttamyrental!

I just got a brand new Lexus RX330 in millenium silver/Black. I live in Cheltenham Pa. Which is right outside of Philadelphia. I have been to all the local dealerships within a fifty mile radius. DON'T DEAL WITH THEM. You will get ripped off. I have been to wilke, cherry hill, lawrence, thompson, and lehigh valley. Wilke will rip you off the most. Wilke offered me a RX330 for $39,000 on a car with an msrp of $41,900. I found Ray Catena to be the third largest lexus dealership in America so I tried them. They are located 1 1/2 hours away but saved a ton. I payed $39,445 on a RX330 with navi w/msrp of $44,288. In addition if you are a recent college grad there is a program where you save 750 more and 90 day payment deferment. Also special apr financing. Make sure you find out about all the rebates. email me if you want the dealers name and number.
  • lightbabelightbabe Member Posts: 5
Thanks for the response. The dealer in Lawrenceville is offering #38,985 before TTL, with a drive out price of $41,583 [an RX330 with an MSRP of $41,938]. Wilke offered me $39500 for the same before TTL. Lawrence is the best one yet. You got an even better deal with the navvy included! I'd certainly drive that far for that deal.

The internet does not reflect any current rebates. Can you share?

Will a dealer closer to me still service my Lexus? I like the idea of them dropping off a loaner within 50 mi radius for service. Thompson is only 8 mi away.

Your email is marked private. Would you kindly email the info to me? I'm ready to buy now... salivating for an RX330... save me. :)
  • lightbabelightbabe Member Posts: 5
OK. Now what? I just got an offer back from the same dealer and he is only offering $3200 off either package, with or without the navvy system. How did you get them to lower their price? Seriously.
  • smartyjonessmartyjones Member Posts: 22
LightBabe. What is it that you are looking for. I did all the leg work for you. I am telling you that you will not get a deal like I did in Philly. I almost bought the car from Lawrence. I especially like the free car washes on saturdays. But I got the navigation system for free. 250 over invoice is what I got. The msrp is 44,200 and the invoice is 39100. That excludes the holdback but includes destination. I got it for 39445. There is a college rebate. If you graduated within two years or currently going to school and can verify employment with a paystud you can get 750 more off the price of the car. Since I gave you the msrp you can figure out the options. the only thing I don't have is the auto cruise control. But everything else i have. I will unmark my email so that you may email me.
  • stevesteinstevestein Member Posts: 263
Was the special APR part of the recent grad incentive? I've seen special rates but only for other models (IS, GS and possibly ES). Thanks.
  • smartyjonessmartyjones Member Posts: 22
What I did was go to wilke and negotiated for hours and did not buy the car. I then went to lawerence and negotiated five hundred off of what wilke was offering. I then called all the others. Trust me thompson and everyone else in the area will not give the lexus suv for 250 over invoice. I then called Ray Catena lexus and they said I had a deal for under invoice on a navvy lexus. They said they would match it. So I went down there. I bought the car that day. Picked it up the next. I set my email address as public so you can email me and I will tell you the name of the dealer. I can tell you exactly how.
  • smartyjonessmartyjones Member Posts: 22
The special apr is lower than what is offered to regular customers. I know this because I have tier one credit with my parents co signing. You just have to qualify as a college student. The special apr is not what I was interested in. I was more intersted in the rebate.

    From Crown lexus, LA

A 2004 RX 330 AWD equipped with 18" wheels, navigation, Premium Plus package,
heated front seats, tow package, cargo net and wheel locks has an MSRP of
$44,288 and a special Internet price of $39,897.
  • lightbabelightbabe Member Posts: 5
Smartyjones: Thanks. That's what I needed to know, "how" you got Ray Catena to come down so low. Ray Catena is the dealership that offered me $3200 off MSRP, either with or without the navvy. After their internet offer, I heard from Cherry Hill dealership who only offered to match it, but now I will move on to the next until I get the best price. I am doing a strictly cash deal with no financing, and no college promo applies.

Thanks for all the advance leg work, and after all that work, are you loving your RX330?
  • lightbabelightbabe Member Posts: 5
Smartyjones, I did email you earlier. I'm carrier of light; please check your email. (Mine is temporarily posted on my profile, too.) Man, I really appreciate your help!

a cargo net does not come with that that package!
  • rx4merx4me Member Posts: 58
I bought the same exact color combo/package as you back in late Aug. of last year. That color combo package is very popular and in high demand, so I was just happy to be able to get something knocked-off of MSRP even though it may not have been as great a deal as many others have been getting. Plus, I had to have mine transported from so. CA to no. CA in order to get the exact package I wanted without having to wait forever (if I were to try to get an even greater discount). I paid about $38,500 (rounded) before TTL.
  • swamybswamyb Member Posts: 38
thanks for your input. Can you or anybody tell if this is a good deal? This is from LA. I need this car to be shipped to No Cal. I got another quote locally which is just $500 more for the same car. I am sure there is room for negotiations. I would appreciate any advice. I am thinking of offering $40k out the door(including TTL). Is this reasonable?

    thanks

HELP!!! I want to purchase the RX330 FWD, w/Premium Plus Package. I'm assuming this package includes cruise control. However, I want to include chrome wheels and chrome running board. I cannot find a cost for those options anywhere on line. A dealer here told me $42,178. My price was 40,000. Any feedback would be appreciated. I can be emailed at worthygirl@aol.com. Thanks.

    Ahalem,

Your dealer's price sounds about right. I've been looking for the same vehicle as well. I received a price of $35,475 (500 above invoice) from a dealer in CA for the same package. Can I get the name of your dealer (contact info)? I would love to save on the shipping cost.

    Thanks
