What state? Ford numbers are regional.

looks like lease cash is $2500

don't have acq fee but figure $600-800

Hello! I have leased a 2016 Ford Escape Titanium AWD last night in Silver Spring, Maryland (Washington, DC region?). MSRP 38,808 Final price: 28,750 + doc fees + taxes + registration. Residual: %55 on 36m/12k. Unfortunately, MF is %3.25 (0.00135). I have spoken at length with both the finance guy and the general manager and they have both assured me that this is the official rate and it's not marked up and that's what the current MF is. Can someone please confirm that it's %3.25 in fact in our region or I got screwed.

We don't have your region's numbers, but everywhere we have East of the Mississippi, it's either 1.50% APR or 1.75% APR.

Residual changes quarterly, but the MF/APR is usually updated each month from Ford.

Lease or buy question. I currently live on Long Island NY, will be moving near Raleigh NC
Sometime this year. Looking at the Escape or Edge. Not sure if buying or leasing. Would I do better doing it on LI or NC. Thanks.

I think the taxes are comparable, though NC taxes the monthly payment, where NY collects the tax for the entire lease up front. Doubt you'd get a refund if you move.

So, I'd vote for making the lease / purchase after you move.

Got the Ford Escape Titanium with the 301A package + etc. MSRP = $37,845.00. Lease = $365.00 for 36 mos; Zero down. No sales tax in Oregon. Drove off the lot by paying 1st month + DMV fees (approx $350/-). Hope this helps someone. G'luck. M

That's not what I said/wrote. I blv these are the approx #s:
- Negotiated Price: $33K (approx)
- Residual: 56%
- Money Factor: 0.00073

FWIW, I got this on the last day of the month & they wanted the quota. Plus more importantly: I stayed away from MSRPs, Cap Costs, Money Factors, etc. I let them know what my $ was and let them know I'll buy immediately based on the best price (monthly payment) I got. I was prepared to walk - which I did, till they called me back. It was a cordial engagement & sale overall imo. No hassles, fuss, upsell, etc.

We are able to get the Ford A-Class employee discount as well, so the MSRP on the vehicle is $32475 and they're offering it to us at $26500 after all discounts, etc are factored in.

In terms of the lease, we're in NYC and residual they gave was is 55% and MF of 1.25 and they're quoting me at $306/mo for 36/10.5k with first month's payment up front and no other money down. Does this seem like a good deal?

I don't have NY numbers, but the closest region to you shows 1.50% APR, so 1.25% APR looks good. The residual is 55%. If the $306/mo. includes all fees and taxes, that looks like a great deal.
