Don't know until we look ... (flip, flip, flip) ... ah, here we go:

T6 Momentum AWD - .00061 and 57%
T6 R-Design AWD - .00100 and 57%

T8 Momentum AWD - .00148 and 48%
T8 R-Design AWD - .00168 and 48%

(wow, those are some pretty bad residuals on the T8)

Now that Volvo #s seem to be found, do we have them for 24mo. leases? This is for NC. Not sure which model, so all 3 would be awesome (T6 only, 12k/yr). Debating this or an RX450h (currently in a '15 RX350 Fsport up in September) The lease numbers given to me by the Volvo dealership are SO MUCH worse than Lexus for 24 mo.

Wow, what is up with the T8 residuals, even the MF is up there. Guess they think that the extra cost for the hybrid system is not going to hold up in the used car market. Is like they are pushing you to buy it so they don't have to take it back later. Very disappointing.

Seeing all the numbers it seems that the Momentum at 36months is the sweet spot. What does everyone else think?

Hi, of course. Sorry for the delay in the reply as I just came back from a vacation. I am in SoCal and got my car from Santa Monica Volvo. Ask for Jason G. Obviously they wont give you the deal until you are there ready to sign. I negotiated this as I knew I was driving out with the XC90 that day if they hit my number. I went to Galpin as well, and honestly they were great too. All the Volvo dealers I went to were great and made the car buying process bearable

2016 Volvo XC90 AWD 4dr T5 Momentum in SoCal. MSRP is $49,815.00. Looking to see differences on MF and residuals depending on mileage per year (10k, 12k or 15k) and term (36 or 39 mos).

I'm in the suburban Cook County area of IL, but looking to lease a 2016 XC90 T8 Inscription located in Indiana. (Chicago area dealers are laughably offering only $1k discount off MSRP on remaining 2016s - Ridiculous!)
Dealer has provided the following numbers for a 24 month lease/12k miles a year, and $1,122.08 a month payment.
MSRP: $78525
Rebate: $4585
Lease Sale Price: $65352
IL taxes: $2980.42
Doc fee: $199
IN tire fee: $1.25
Residual %: 58%
Upfront money + First Payment: $1,017.41

I am completely confused, and can't understand these figures. The numbers just don't add up.
For example:
I know the IL sales tax (8.25%) is wrong as sales tax no longer applies to the entire capitalized cost - now only down payment and monthly lease payment.
That percentage residual is awfully low - like for a 39mth lease, and not for a 24 month lease.

What is the correct MF and residual for a 24 month lease at 12k miles per year, and 15k miles per year? If no July #s out, can you please provide me June #s as reference?

The T8 has terrible residuals.

.00100 MF and 58% residual is correct for 24/12. 56% for 24/15.
The sales tax appears to be correct. If the 8.25% was applied to the full sale price, the number would be almost $5400. (rebates count as upfront money and are taxable, as well).

You've picked the model (T8) and trim (Inscription) with the worst residuals.

That was the calculation i got from the number i see from the computer. It somewhat changed by the finance manager & Volvo only offer 39mo. No 36 mo lease. I'm stuck with it for extra 3 mon, but monthly payment remain $508. See my actually lease number:

4669 Includes cap cost reduction. Only due at signing is 4669.

So, we need to find out the adjusted cap cost, since you aren't paying all the fees up front.

Then we can calculate the payment to ensure it matches what the dealer is quoting you.

Hi all, I was hopping to get some inputs from you....I learned that some dealerships are offering good discounts on their XC90 Demo models. What do you all think? Should i consider? Is there anything that I should be aware ?

Lastly I heard that Volvo did a recall to fix a sunroof bug and see in other review people complaining about screen freeze.

I love the XC90, i want one but felt disappointed when learned some bad reviews. Not so confident anymore if this is the best buy..... looking at review from Audi or Mercedes it's all good.

I mean i don't want to pay for a very expensive car and then be disappointed. What you guys are hearing from people who bought the XC90...any major complains?

Any thoughts?

I have had mine for 2 months now and fingers crossed no issues whatsoever. I love driving it and its the best looking SUV out there. Living in SoCal I see so many BMW X5's, GLE's and Range Rovers, they might as well be high volume Camrys and Accords. The Q7 was my initial choice and my neighbors just bought the new one and I just cant get past how bad the new one looks. Audi has gone lazy IMO. On the road everytime I see an XC90 it stands out. The only other SUV in the market right now that turns my head is the Jaguar F-Pace. If you are worried about issues, I would just wait for the MY17 XC90.
