I paid for a FX35 AWD with sport and touring (and Sirius, mats, etc) 1748 more. You get AWD and touring for a bit more. Forget this dealer, really.

down $519.12 rate is 1.790 term is 39 months.
his payment shows to be $519.12 (which is 408.60 depreciation and 110.52 as rent) however, using the edmonds calu. I show 486.49 why the difference?
Please just stop shouting.
You should never put money down on a lease. If you are in a crash and the car is totalled that money is gone. Your question about 39 months or 24 months is entirely up to you... How long do you want to be locked into this car?
One more thing, has anyone had driving experience in the snow in this thing? And I dont mean the Atlanta "oh no its snowing" snow where there are two flakes on the road, I mean the foot of snow per day type of snow where you are parking in a foot of the stuff in the parking lots. My XC90 awd was completely disabled sitting in 6 inches of snow in Ohio because the stupid traction control cant get switched off, even in the 'Winter mode'. I sat there giving it gas, and the tires remained totally motionless. I had to get it towed. Meanwhile my dad in his freakin Ford Taurus just pulled straight out, no problemo. How humiliating. Long story short, I dont want to trade the Volvo in on this FX and be right back in the same boat.
Any advice?
Early in Jan, when we had a snow fall around a foot and my former car was stuck. I asked this how he fared in his 05 AWD SPORT FX35 and he had no problems. I have friends in Denver with both an 03 and 04 of the same car and they had so many problems, they bought in addition one set of 18 rims. This guy with 05 has no problems of that kind.
Note: When I was buying, I brought this info to the salesperson. He told me that neither Infiniti nor his dealership will admit problems with prior models. But he said due to consumer problems on this issue, Infiniti made adjustments to the 05 which per my neighbor seems to be working out just fine.
Do you not have the RearView Camera? My FX35 has the RearView Camera and it makes backing out of my narrow driveway a breeze. The Infiniti RearView Cameras have "lane" guidance markers that allow you to clearly see where the edges of the driveway are. Keep any object from getting between the lines and backing up is a breeze.
I was quoted a lease for the FX 35 - Touring at $100 above invoice. The deal came upto $397 + tax with $3500 down for everything incl. tax tag etc. for 36 months, 12000 miles a year
However, they were not giving a good value for my trade in and hence the deal fell through.
I am looking to sell my car privately and then go back to the Infiniti dealership.
Question to you guys is I think I have a good price quoted, however, can they in anyway shape or form trick me. I have not been told details such as the residual value, bank fee, buy option etc.
Thanks for all your answers
Contrast that to Nalley Infiniti where the entire experience was miserable from day one. The sales rep was a perve - he wanted to spend more time commenting on the blonde in the next room than about my car. The hour I was there he wouldnt shut up about what he wanted to do to her. Then he used every trite, over-played car salesman stereotype you could think of. The managers, finance manager, and the sales rep were overbearing, arrogant, and were more representative of what I would expect at a Kia dealership than at an Infiniti dealership. Everytime I even raised the slightest question or objection, it was returned with long, dramatic sighs.... "Oh man"s, etc. It was the cheesiest thing I have ever experienced, and completely out of place for a supposed highline car dealership.
Go to Infiniti of Gwinnett. You wont be dissapointed. Avoid Nalley Infiniti like the plague.
Looking to lease for 39mths, 12k miles, no $ down and keep my monthly payments at $400 (give or take) (including tax).
Cost of Car $37,000.00
Money Factor 0.0188%
Residual 62.000%
Tax 6.000%
Term 39.00
Actual Lease $14,060.00
Residual Value $22,940.00
Based on this calculation, it looks doable, am i missing anything??
Tks
However they did not give me a breakdown of the numbers like you have on your post.
I had to turn down both offers as they were giving me a lousy deal on my trade in. So i am waiting to trade in my car, wait for the 2006 models to come by and then approach the dealers.
Lease payments @ $450 with no $$$ down, except 1st payment, tags & mvd, for a term of 39mths and 12miles per year.
Wish me luck,
@.
thanks
I did not feel that either dealership unduly wasted any of my time. Fields is the best dealership at which I have ever taken a test drive. Salespeople make a copy of your driver's license and hand you the keys. They do not even attempt to ride along. Motorwerks has an "auto mall" in which you can browse many different upscale makes and models of cars during any time you spend waiting. I saw three cars over $350,000 (Maybach, Porche GT and Mercedes McLaren). Like most, however, my final purchasing decision was based solely on price.
By the way, the DVD with Lane Departure is extremely hard to find in stock. And the Lane Departure system really does work, although I wonder whether the muted beep it emits would rouse a sleepy driver, which is, ostensibly, its intended purpose. You can turn it off if you prefer to not hear the beep while zipping from lane to lane without using your turn signals
My family and I are moving from the Chicago area to mountainous Connecticut (o.k., hilly, but they're big hills). My wife wanted to get an SUV, but I don't want to drive a truck. To be fair, I test drove the LR3, Touareg, 9-7X, Freestyle, Highlander and Pilot, but had settled on the G35X over the Lexus GS 300, which is markedly smaller inside than the G35X and demands a $15,000 premium. However, we discovered on the showroom floor that the FX35 has a more spacious and comfortable back seat for the kids. And I absolutely love the bolstered seats and 20" wheels.
I haven't yet driven the FX35 in any inclement weather, but it's a blast on dry pavement. So much so that I could not justify the $6,600 premium for the incremental performance increase and, as my wife pointed out, mileage decrease of the FX45.
Bionic cheetah? I think of the FX as more of a sports car on steroids, which, in this case, is a good thing.
Not sure about NY, but I picked up a FX35 AWD with touring package and other minor accessories with no $$$ down, except 1st month and some minor tag fees for $450 a month, 39 mths and 12k. For 15k might be just a tad more, but not much. This is from a great dealer in NJ, which i highly recommend. I can email you the contact if you are interested.
Did the price you mentioned include the tax and title fees? Was it at Ramsey Infiniti?

They'll sell me a new one for about $36,750 (same config.)
Thoughts?
Thanks

Also does anyone know if any changes small or not for 2006 model.
I am looking to buy a new 2005 fx45 with Prem. and Tech package including splash and cargo prot. I have been offered by a dealer here in South Cali. of $49,800.00 (plus tax & fees). But I also want XM radio (they want $800.00 to add it), silver cross rails and sunroof deflector. I will have to deal a bit to have them add these other options. However, is the initial price a good deal?
Also, they will have to ship it here from either N.Cali or Arizona since they dont have the exterior/interior color combination I want. They want me to pay extra for that. Should I be paying for that?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Paul
Disappointed and dejected; I came home - scanned these forums again and noticed the postings advising of great experiences with Infiniti Gwinnett (GA). I looked through the messages received from dealers that had responded to my queries via internet earlier in the week; found the name of the internet sales person from Infiniti Gwinnett and e-mailed my expectations. 20 minutes later, I had purchased my new FX35, with Touring Package – including my color choice - AT 1% OVER INVOICE!
I have purchased several new cars over the years but always disliked haggling the price and sleazy dealer "add ons" as well as "hidden" costs. The experience via the Internet with Infiniti of Gwinnett was the best car-buying experience I have ever had!!! I picked up my new FX35 Monday afternoon, signed the paperwork after running through the "delivery" of the vehicle and drove off with the price/payment I had negotiated via the internet. WOW - I don't think I'll ever try to purchase another new vehicle directly in person again.....
Quote from a dealer:
Regarding the FX35 with the Touring Package only, has a list price of 38.460.00 and a invoice of 35.247.00
On a 36mo lease including tax your payment would be 518.00 with 527.00 total down.
On a 39mo lease including tax your payment would be 494.00 with 503.00 total down.
The residual is 59% @ 36mo @ .00176
The residual is 58% @ 39mo @ .00171, Let me know if this will work.
Down payment is nothing more, nothing less.
Sounds good?

Love the car, handles great!
Also, can you recommend any dealers and what's a good price for an fx-35 w/ touring package lease nothing down, only first payment (no bank fees, taxes, etc...)
Lastly, are bank fees and disposition fees at end of lease negotiable?
Thanks!
I own an '04 MDX and an '04 FX35. I consider the MDX to be the BEST family vehicle we've ever owned! We want room for 7 on occasion and the MDX delivers in style :shades: Yes the FX is really smaller than its competitors. How long do you plan on keeping the car? I use my FX as commuter vehicle; it is really not suitable for a large family of 4 as an everyday car in my opinion. However for 2 adults and 1 young child you should be OK; but it is not a people and cargo hauler.
Also we average 16-17 mpg in town and 22 mpg on the highway in the MDX.
The FX35 has really only been used around town, and averages 17-18 mpg.
Thanks for your help.
The MDX is especially nimble for a large 7-seat SUV, with good handling, very tight turn radius (easy to park), decent acceleration, etc. Its my wife's daily driver and the family car of choice; when all 5 of us are together we always take the MDX. The FX is my daily driver and is never (or very rarely, for 4 of us) used as the family hauler; thus I really do not feel a need for more space. The FX is a rear-wheel drive with a large hump in the rear floor, it is not really practical for 5 adults (3 large people in the back would not be comfortable). As I said it should suffice for 2 adults and 1 young child.
The FX is so much more fun to drive than the MDX. The handling is great, especially on the turns and the cockpit of the FX feels very secure and comfortable. I get excited about thinking about driving the car. To me, it had a little more bling than the MDX though I liked the fact that the MDX has pretty much everything standard in the car.
If you are more interested in the handling, performance aspects of the car, go with the FX. If the car is going to be your #1 family option, go with the MDX
