I agree with your calculations on the money factor. Doubt you'll get them to change it, since it's probably not disclosed on the lease paperwork. Good luck, and congrats on the new vehicle.
Thank you. I did talk with both the sales representative as well as the finance manager. The sales rep said that the money factor was not marked up, but then I spoke with the finance manager, who admitted that the money factor was, indeed, marked up from .00026 to .00055. I decided to accept it, however, considering a few things: 1) The huge discount that I got (nearly 11K off the MSRP), 2) The fact that the marked up money factor is less than half of the money factor I was given on my last Volvo lease, and 3) The fact that the sales rep really helped me out by returning my rental car for me the day after the purchase. It's a little complicated to explain all the details, but he had to make two trips to do it, and is helping me avoid a late fee on the return, etc. 4) My credit scores qualified me for Tier 3 rates. With most automakers, I'm sure my money factor would have been higher - perhaps significantly higher.
In general, it was a very good experience, and what's most important is that I'm very happy with the car and the overall price I paid.
Sounds like the salesman and dealer when above and beyond to make you a happy customer. Congrats and enjoy!
Hi! I'm looking for the current MF and RV for a 2016 XC60 T5 AWD and T6 Drive-E AWD, either 24/10, 33/10, 36/10, or 39/10, whichever is the best deal (seems like they are pushing 24 month right now). Thanks!

Thanks! Are the numbers the same for premier? Per the dealer's website they are offering "complimentary upgrade to premier."
On the T-5 AWD Premier, residuals are 2% higher on 24 months, and 1% higher on 36 months. All other numbers are the same. With the higher residuals, they probably could offer the same payment, even with the higher MSRP/selling price.
Don't see a Premier version of the T-6 Drive-E AWD.
Thanks! Are the numbers the same for premier? Per the dealer's website they are offering "complimentary upgrade to premier."
Be aware that the "complimentary upgrade" can also be redeemed as a $3250 "non-cash credit" on other trims, such as a Platinum trim or the T6 AWD. One of the dealers I contacted didn't realize this, and I ended up buying from another dealer who was more award of the incentive programs available.
my dealer has an XC60 (T5 DRIVE-E PREMIER) sitting on his lot for a while. The dealer has offered 7k below MSRP and 5k below invoice. The color is not my pref and i'll most likely pass this. If I had to push him further what should be my offer? or is this good enough? There's been no negotiation so far. I am trying to nail the selling price before discussing the lease. Suggestions?

I guess my question is .. why would you want to lease a car in that price range that isn't exactly what you want? No matter how good the deal is, you'll have to live with this car for 3 years.
That said, we don't track selling prices, so no idea how low the dealer would be willing to go to move it.
And, be advised that there are incentives available for purchase that don't work for a lease; be up front with the dealer about your desire to lease.
I saw very useful information above, just not for the engine configuration I am looking for. Assuming a 36 month, 12K miles per year, what is the current MF and residual % for a: 2016 XC60 T6 AWD Platinum (3.0 liter 6 cyl) ? Also, please let me know of incentives, lease cash, rebates, etc...

Sorry, but we still don't have the August program for Volvo.
Hi, I was just at a Volvo dealer in Miami, FL interested in a new 2017 XC60 T5 or T6 FWD and was given a residual of 54% and MF of .00015 for both on 36 mths/10k. Can you please confirm these numbers... The residual seems awfully low. Thank you!

We don't yet have the Volvo lease numbers for September, but the dealer is not allowed to modify the residual, so that is the correct number. The .00015 seems right, too.
Hi I just stumbled on to this forum (thanks google!) and all this excellent information. I'm looking to lease an AWD T6 XC60 and was hoping you could help me compare two different options / know what to ask to get the best deal. I apologize in advance if I have any of the terminology wrong or ask a dumb question - this is all new to me!
We are looking at a 2017 (4 cyl) AWD T6 Inscription with Advanced package (used to be called Technology), Climate and BLIS. 36 month / 10k mi / 10% tax (Cook County IL, blech). What is the money factor / residual, and how would I figure out what a good or fair lease price offer would be? About $2500 down from a trade in. List
Then we came across a 2016 4 cyl AWD T6 Platinum with 9k mi on it that was I think a dealer loaner or an early lease termination. It also has Climate but no BLIS. Price is $41,000. Do dealerships ever lease certified pre-owned cars, and if so, is there a way to figure out the MF / residual on those or is that more of a guessing game?

2017 - .00028 and 57%. $500 allowance. 2016 - .00124 and 51%. $5500 total lease cash. If the car has not been titled, it is eligible to lease at these rates. If it is truly used, we don't have any numbers.

Ugghhhh.. negotiated 2016 VOLVO XC60 T5 DRIVE-E PREMIER SUV at MSRP of 43030 to 36400. with $100 conquest bonus. Then asked to apply the 2500 bonus and 3000 lease cash. They denied those existed. (and they were messing with MF) They came back with correct MF (.00069/46%) and said they used the 2500 to get to quoted price and the lease cash didn't exist. So I left. So frustrated. Would have bought right then. Why are all dealers so shady!

I can believe that the $2500 was part of the discount from $43K to $36K.

And, dealers have to keep the lights on, as well.
I agree that they have to keep lights on. But the lying bothers me. As for the 2500 being part of discount. They only came with that statement after they denied it existed. And we went several rounds about it's existence. Suddenly it was "oh yeah , it does exist but we've already included it."

You were right to walk.
Try another Volvo dealer - it only takes one to make a deal on your terms.

I agree with .00085 MF and 48% residual $2500 Volvo Allowance $3000 Lease Bonus
I get the same payment with that MSRP and adjusted CAP cost Now.. how those amounts are applied might be a little convoluted.
Did they tell you how much you have to pay at lease signing?
Since I last posted, I have been in contact with 3 more local dealers and they are all willing to discount heavily on the 2016's so now I am considering a few different trim levels to find the best bang for the buck for what is available.
Looking for the MF / RV numbers for 36/12 in CA on the following models please: 2016 FWD T5 Drive-E Platinum 2016 FWD T5 Drive-E Premier 2016 FWD T6 Drive-E Platinum as well please
