Thanks for the help. This is my second time leasing and the first time I got fleeced pretty bad as I didn't know about any of this stuff.

Could you explain what you mean by $7750 of lease cash? Given a discount of $3k is bad, so do I go back and try to negotiate the cap cost?

The lease cash is a factory to dealer incentive; the dealer can choose to pass that along to the customer, in whole or in part.

Assuming they are giving it all to you, the discount from sticker isn't that great. Yes, try to get a bigger discount. And, introducing some competition by talking with another dealer will get you a better price.

Hey good morning very newbie to leasing here. Looking at both the lux and exec in NYC. Taxes are 8.875%. Looking for first month and dmv fees down lease. Looking for MF and RV and incentives for 16's. MSRP for lux $55 and exec $61 trying to get and idea what I should expect to pay if they apply all applicable incentives and cash back. Thanks in advance.

Need help if this is good or not. Lease 12K yr/36 mos - 2016 Lux MSRP $55865 lease purchase price $42999 ($8500 manufactor cash & $4366 dealer disc), RV 42% ($23,463.30), MF .00060. Payment $600/mo plus 8% tax=$648 w/$1000 (1sp payment & DMV fees)
Is this MF marked up or what is current MF?
I've never leased and trying to figure this all out. Any input greatly appreciated. Thnaks

The MF and residual are correct.

With those prices, I get $629/mo with 8% tax.

Confirm the adjusted cap cost - if higher than the selling price, find out what's been added.

So I believe I forgot the "disposition" fee of $625. Would that bring what you calculated as a payment the same as what I'm being quoted? What is disp fee and do I have to pay it?
Also I got them down to 41,499 selling price with everything else the same. What do you calculate for a payment and in your opinion is this a good "deal"...if there is such a thing when buying a car?

The disposition fee is not paid until the end of the lease.

If, however, you are referring to the acquisition fee, that will add about $17/mo to the payment, before tax, which bridges the gap to your quote.

$1500 off the selling price takes lowers the pre-tax payment about $42/mo

For a 2016 Sport with Technology, I've been offered a sales price of $38,313 with MF = .0006 on 3 year lease, 12K miles. It's a sign and drive event so they throw first payment ($585) and doc/fees ($320) into the cap cost. Is this a good deal? I wasn't sure how much dealer cash they are getting.

Sorry, pressed enter too quick. MSRP is $51,200. $625 acquisition fee. It's Ohio with 7% tax. So selling price $38,313 + acquisition fee + $923 to cap cost (first payment and fees thrown in). Total is $39861 with .0006 and 7% tax. I get a payment of $585? I checked and invoice is $48,619 so basically if consider $8500 lease cash, they are selling this roughly $1800 under invoice. What do you think?
