Two lux/performance two doors - an MB S63 coupe, matte silver paint (don't like), and a Lexus LC500 convertible (first one I've seen), within a minute of each other.
My oldest has a Chevy Cruze with the RS badging though it has the regular Premier model alloys. Looks really nice but in no way is it a sports car! Now her husbands Camaro is also an RS model he special ordered and it is a sports car in every sense of the word. Drives really really nice but a bit too much for me. Hey, he's young & he can afford it, so why not. He deserves a really nice vehicle if that's what makes him happy. Also lucky that he's able to work from home, they live in Central Florida while his firm is over by us in South Florida. So, by all means, get what you want...all I ask i put me in the front passenger seat as the back is a bit tight for me to get in/out of due to my spinal issues. A four door vehicle is a must for us now, can not live with a coupe even though I do like them.

I was dumping on the Corolla Cross yesterday, but what I meant C-HR. It looks like it buckled in the middle looking at it from the side. C C looks like a RAV4.

On the other end of the spectrum, I saw a very nice looking Mercedes AMG GT(x) blue coupe. There was smaller letter after the GT but the driver wouldn't let me get close enough to figure out what it was.

travelling in NY last weekend, on the way up the Thruway I saw 4 different MB GLE52 AMGs. Personally thought it looked ungainly from ever angle and weird in the front. Just surprised to see so may different ones.
Locally I am amazed by the number of Tellurides and to a lesser degree, Pallisades that are roaming the streets. I rarely see a new Highlander, Pilot or Passport in numbers, just here and there.

Plenty of the Hyunda/Kia big rigs down here plus a mess load of Highlanders as they seem to be very popular. But by far the most popular are the Rav4 by Toyota as they are everywhere. Not too many Corolla Cross's out there yet but give it another 18 months and think those numbers will balloon as many who thought of just getting a Corolla might just go with the Cross for the added versatility. A big reason I'd like one also, that added versatility to use the hatch to move small items and it possibly being 2-3 inches higher than the current Corolla for easier ingress/egress especially for folks with spinal issues like myself. Sliding in and out of a vehicle is a big plus for me & basically why I bought that 2014 Hyundai Tucson back in 2013, the ease of getting in & out had me sold. Not a fan of the CH-R, Toyota's smallest CUV though the size is just about perfect for me. And if necessary, I just might end up with one if nothing else fits the bill but hoping not to be forced into that. Don't want a repeat of the Tucson affair here as I'd never hear the end of it. Also waiting to see what the new Nissan Rogue Sport is going to look/drive like. Nissan seems to have solved their CVT tranny issue as the Versa, Sentra & Altima all drive 100% better in their newest editions & love the look of the new Rogue. Give me a 3/4 size Rogue with the improved auto tranny & I'll take a serious look!

I'd think twice about the CH-R, worst rated and least liked Toyota out there, according to CR. We're looking at the Rav4 hybrid, 37 mpg, if you can find one. Does the Corolla Cross come as a hybrid?
Doubt I'd really consider a CH-R to be honest, even though it is a Toyota. As of now, staying the course & keeping what I got. Don't need to do anything so why do anything! Having the brakes checked on Monday as the pedal is very low and compared to the newer Jetta I drove Wednesday at work, just have a feeling I've got something going on here. So we'll just have to see what my mechanic tells me & then, I'll go from there. Luckily, I don't drive that many miles a week but still, want it running correctly...and stopping that way also. I just like a high pedal that grabs pretty quickly.

Total cargo capacity is wrong. 88 cu ft would put it in minivan territory. Based on all other measurements, I’d bet that is supposed to be 38. It is only marginally larger than the CHR, mostly in the 3 inch height difference.

Yeah, if Highlander has 85, no way the CC has 88. But is is much more upright, so it should have more, and better shaped, storage than the CHR. I was a big fan of the Scion xB, small footprint, huge amount of room.
my next door neighbor appears to have had a brand new Pathfinder dropped off today. His 2010ish one is still there. Not sure if that is going away, or his wife's XC90 (which might have been a lease).
and someone around the corner a few days ago got a Laguna Seca blue Mustang E. The GT model. Not sure what that replaces. He has had a Wrangler for a few years. So either that (but it is still in the driveway) or maybe his wife's CRV.
Saw a new style G63 on the road here today, maybe not uncommon among overmonied techies/real estate types/dirty money movers in LA or Seattle, but not so much here.

I didn’t know there was ever a “new style” G wagon. Thought it was always just the same 2 boxes year after year.

Heavy facelift for MY 2019 - revised window shapes and lighting, new interior, but the same profile for sure (and I think the same old fashioned door handles).

Saw my first MB EQS today. This one was a EQS580 in black, which I understand has 516 hp, 340 mi range, and will take $125K out of your pocket. It looked nice, but way out of my price range. 💰
I also saw my first EQS; I was quite unmoved by the styling.

I've seen it called an upsidedown bathtub, I don't disagree.
What's wrong with a relatively conventional looking EV? Still too much attention seeking/virtue signaling etc when it comes to alternative propulsion.
I think that EV makers are still in search of low Cd in order to maximize range. There is still a large disparity between the energy a gas tank can store and what a battery can store.

Saw one of the new KIA EVs today, kind of avantgarde looking, nice to see something that isn't a Muskmobile.
On that note also saw what must have been a new Model S - seems 99.999999% I see are 3 and Y, so a new (it was pristine, looked fresh) S in a nice shade of blue is uncommon. I think it was on "autopilot" (sarcastic quotes), too. Came to a near stop on an arterial road for no apparent reason, then drove down a median/turn lane before finally turning - drove down this lane for a couple blocks, across an intersection. Reminds me of living in Bellevue.
My co-worker has a mid grade Frontier in black and it looks great. We had to pick up 8 2-door fleet models last week and was surprised how well they drove compared to the Tacoma's. We have both 4 cylinder and 6 cylinder Tacoma's in our fleet and drove both this past week also. the 4 was somewhat anemic and needed constant pressure on the accelerator to keep at speed, very underwhelming really. The 6 had plenty of power but just didn't drive as well as the new Nissan Frontier in my opinion. Asked the other 3 drivers their opinions and they echoed mine, all liking the new Frontier better than the Tacoma. My co-worker is quite happy with his and got a pretty decent price a few months ago. The units in our fleet have the nicer alloy wheels as his are the plainer base units. He's fine with them though I like the nicer ones better. Would have no problem having a new Frontier as my d d and I'm not really a truck person. I liked it that much!

I saw three Fiat based Dodge Darts on my way home this afternoon. One, unfortunately, had been rear ended by a Nissan Versa, the Versa looked worse for wear. Bumper, grille, headlights scattered on the highway.

Quick trip to NYC. Saw 4-5 Ionic 5s, all gray, same color i think. 2 EV6. And, a shiny white, tinted-windowed BMW M8 using the Henry Hudson as a slalom course. Also, surprisingly, 4 BMW i8, including one convertible.

Yes, Hyundai Ionic 5, Kia EV6. Funny, brother in law wants a boxy new car. He's high on the Soul, so I threw in Cube, Element, xD and xB into his search list. His wife does not want a box mobile. He asked about a G wagon we passed, sorry bro, a whole 'nother league.

I am seeing numerous new big Broncos on the road now, maybe not a surprise in this area, where the outdoorsy image is carefully cultivated into a real identity.
Also saw a late model A4 towing a golf cart, which amused me, working harder than most showboat land barge SUVs.
Last night I saw a Ford ad on TV offering $1500 incentives on several new vehicles including the Bronco (I think just the Sport/Escape version) which I found odd considering the supply issues.
Parked on the street at a neighborhood restaurant last night, new RS6 Avant parked behind me. I was going to get a pic when we returned to the car, it was gone. Pretty rare and flashy thing for Spokane, where a Stepfordian Escalade or lifted compensator truck are the usual show-off machines.

Aren’t the CH-R and Corolla Cross essentially the same vehicle?

Same chassis I bet, but the CC has WAY more storage room, and looks like better visibility.

1. Is the new grille better or worse than the current model?
2. The 3-row version is going to be renamed the TX

Overall I like it better than the last version. Still no beauty, but ok. Good thing, the hybrid will probably be our next vehicle!

2 - Bad move people know the RX
