The best of all was the Mercedes CLS55 AMG that I saw, in black. It was the second I saw, the first one being in Egypt of all places. Anyway the car looked stunning as it blasted down the highway, and I know what I'd buy if I had $100K to spend on a car.

Also spotted a dark grey S550 - they are becoming less unusual here now, I am sure I could see one daily if I looked.
Also not new, but I saw a Bentley Arnage...it amused me because I could see it from some distance, it just looks BIG compared to most cars.
Downtown Chicago is just crawling with W221s now.

Neither is the Bentley Coupe.
I'm still waiting to see the Maybach 57S on the road though. Hopefully it will look a little better than the regular 57 and the truly ungainly 62.

I must say that was a stunning stunning car. Firt time I have had a chance to sit in one and check out the inside.
All I can say is wow. He loves it and he is starting to get used to the funny F1 style transmission.
But the best was seeing the deep blue Porsche Cayenne Turbo S, the 520hp king of SUVs. I'd love to own one.....

Also Black Cayman S... wow Black is the color for this car. Red is awful, silver is generic, blue would be a waste. The Cayman is one of the most color sensitive cars ever, wait till you see a black one rip by at night... wow. Sounds great too.
Also a few calibers (I just don't see the point), a fit (not really sure what all the fuss is about), the usual Long Island Bentley contingent, some S550s, a Maserati GT, and a DB7 Vantage Volante.
Not many new cars, but I did see a new Escalade, an SSR, and a couple of Tribecas along the way.

I have yet to see one on the roads here in CT, though, only in dealership lots...

P.S. 4 days ago I spotted a beatiful Black Legacy GT with a very pretty lady that reminded me of Kristie

In addition, I saw a weird sight, a white Nissan Armada that was tricked out....it had huge rims, probably 24", a custom bumper design and a billet grille. Probably had TVs and a killer sound system inside too. IMO Navigators and Escalades look better when tricked out.

Also saw a light green Yaris sedan.
I don't see many luxury/executive sedans around the 'burbs, but suddenly Australia's gotten into the lux-SUV culture. Saw an RX330 this morning, not to mention _another_ Discovery 3 (that makes about five within a few blocks of my home in a week), an X5 the other day, there's a new ML down by the new townhouses, and I'm sure there was an LX470 in there somewhere.
This is in a suburb where you'd be hard pressed to see a 5-Series or E-Class or any of that ilk. Although a bright red new Saab 9-3 often resides a few blocks away.

2020 Acura RDX tech SH-AWD, 2023 Maverick hybrid Lariat luxury package.
I also got behind a current CL55 in city traffic, and boy did it sound nice.
Also a Ford GT, and not one but two Ferrari 550/575 (might not be new, but still not exactly hard on the eyes).
I made about a round-trip drive of about 20 miles each way on the Long Island Expressway (I-495) this evening. Westbound traffic was quite heavy what with people returning from their holiday weekends in the Hamptons. And, as one might imagine, the cars were definitely on the upscale side. I saw so many Mercedes and BMW's that for a moment I thought I'd been teleported to Germany! Audis and Porsches (mainly Cayennes) were also in ample supply. Which isn't to say that all of the costly vehicles were German; Lexuses and, to a slightly lesser extent, Infinitis were common too, though there weren't too many Acuras. American luxury vehicles, in contrast, were a rare sight, with just a handful of Escalades and Navigators.
The more I think of it, the single most unusual thing about the vehicles I saw was the unusually high number of Range Rovers. I wasn't counting them at first, but after seeing a steady progress of them I started keeping count. Believe it or not, I counted 17 of them in the space of 20 minutes.
2006 Range Rovers have clear upper tail lights instead of the orange from the 2003-2005. They have clear side markers instead of the orange from 2003-2005.
The last bit is that their lower halogen headlights are set inboard from the main upper bi-xenon light cutting slightly into the grill. The 2003-2005 Ranges have the halogen lights are directly underneath the bi-xenon light.
This morning already we have had three range Rovers, of course duh, but a truck did drop off our next Supercharged Range Rover that is of course already pre-sold.
Also one of my customers came by to drop off his range for service and left in his brand new M6.
That is a nice vehicle in everyway except the trunk looks like a total afterthought.
It is almost like they got to the end of the vehicle and just got tired of drawing.
Stupid bangel butt.
I saw the car in a rather well to do neighborhood so I guess that's a good sign for Hyundai that they're gaining cred as a respectable car for the middles and upper middles.
Oh, as for the mobster bit ... as the driver was putting the suitcase in the trunk his suit jacket gaped open revealing a holstered pistol. Now, it's almost impossible to get a concealed-carry permit in NYC, and I'd rather doubt many cops could afford an S-class or to live in the adjacent apartment building (not to mention that he was at least 50 pounds beyond even the most lenient physical-fitness standards for law enforcement officers). The driver didn't seem to care that his pistol was visible, which seems to rule out an ordinary citizen carrying an illegal weapon or the average criminal type. Now, a top-level Mob boss wouldn't care, so that's who I think he was.
Hmmmm ... now I'm wondering exactly what - or whom - was in that suitcase

I saw three new Nissan Pathfinders, in black, beige and grey. I found black to be the best looking color.
Also saw three new Mercedes S Class, two in maroon, one in beige.
Three RAV4s, in beige, grey and red also.
Also saw my first new Hyundai Accent, in white. Looks very plain to me, just like the full test said. Also saw a white Yaris sedan, and two Nissan Versas in red and beige.
The best was seeing the black Rolls Royce Phantom, and the maroon Jaguar XK convertible yesterday. Wow! They both look great!!
