Please provide me the money factor and residual value for Nissan Pathfinder 2016 AWD SV, SL and Platinum. Will be buying or leasing (12k and 15k for 36 months). This will be in New Jersey. MSRP is:
SV = $34,790
SL = $38,100
Platinum = $43,250
Zero or 1K down payment.
What will be the reasonable monthly lease for 12k for 36 months?
What is the monthly payment for buy for 84 months?
The MSRP is from the dealers website.

With the MSRP and selling prices you've provided, I get the following lease payments for 36/15:

SV - $345/mo plus tax
SL - $483/mo plus tax
Platinum - $478/mo plus tax

We don't calculate purchase payments; lots of lease calculators on the web can help you with that.

Residual is based off the MSRP - bottom line number of the window sticker.

Hi, I'm new to this forum/site but would like to know what I need to give you to see what a current lease pymt should be for a 2016 Nissan Pathfinder SL, MSRP $43,300 with 5,000 in discounts so their price is $38,049. 15k/yr. 39 month lease. They quoted $440/mo w/ $3000 down...I usually don't do a down payment on my leases so i would like to know if this pymt is possible without doing a down payment at all, and obviously if it should be lower. I'm in Massachusetts, sales tax 6.25%...I really appreciate any help!. Thanks!

I think we've covered this ground already in a different thread.

You don't want a 39 month lease on a Pathfinder; the numbers are horrible.

36/15 is .00095 and 57%, assuming 4x4.

Using your prices, as is, gives me a payment of $458/mo with tax.

Would need to know the full breakdown of the $3000 as well.

Sorry it was covered already, I couldn't find a thread with it in there...So they didn't break down the $3500, but I can see they added doc fee, taxes, etc in the price of the vehicle. So I know the first month pymt is included in the cash down but other than that ?..
So here are the exact figures:

$41,256.81 price of vehicle w/taxes, doc fees, and dmv fees (title, registration etc) and all rebates
$3500 down, 36 mo, 12,000 miles 
payment is $430-444/month.

so what else comes out of the out of pocket cash besides first months pymt if they include all those fees in the purchase price and monthly pymt? Is it the dealerships profit?

Generally what's due at lease signing:

First Payment
Bank or Acquisition Fee
Dealer Fee
DMV or License / Tag Costs
Sales tax on any incentives

Anything above the sum of those numbers will be used as "cap reduction", or down payment.

The number you are looking for is the "adjusted cap cost", which is the negotiated selling price plus any taxes and fees you are NOT paying up front, less any cap reduction amount.

If the dealer is unwilling or unable to get you this information, it may be time to find another dealer.

I show 52% for Platinum 4x2 and 55% for Platinum 4x4 for 36/12 in July.

They quoted me 54% and .001
Wondering is that is normal or if I should look at another dealer to work with.

MF can be marked up for extra profit, or reflect a quote for a customer before the credit is pulled.
