I'm in DYING need of your assistance. I'm looking to lease a 2016 Audi A7 Premium Plus. The MSRP amount is $72,770. I am currently financing a Lexus ES 350 that I am trading in. My car has $4000 negative equity at the moment. So, I'm looking for numbers. I have an appointment for Tuesday and would like to be prepared. In the past, I've leased a car at 48 months/12,000. I've paid $2500 down as well. Now, I'm hoping to pay $0 down or $1000 at the most. My credit score in 800. They've already checked it. What is needed to have a car note payment of $800 or less? Also, what is the car note payment with the above information I've provided? Can you supply both numbers? Any insight will help a great deal! Thanks!!!!

Your payment will depend a lot on the selling price you negotiate.

I don't see any hope of you being at $800 or less, while rolling in $4000 of negative equity.

Thanks. I told the manager I'm not paying anything over $800 a month and he insists on making a deal.

Last thing...Can you tell me the MF and residual on this car?

I really needed a hypothetical lease payment to be prepared on Tuesday. You're excellent at that from other questions you've answered. I'm in Illinois. Looking at a 2016, Audi A7. 48 months/15k miles. $2000 down is my max. Whereas $0 down is ideal. Can I get two hypothetical situations please (with an down payment and without one). MSRP 72, 770. Thanks!!!

I'm not sure about that money factor for 48 months. Most of the subvented money factors are only good for up to 42 months. We'll have to check on that.

    Oops, that's correct.

MF for 48 month lease on 2016 A7 is .00198.

Pretty sure $800/mo isn't doable with that MF, even before the negative equity is accounted for.

.00006 MF and 49% residual for 36/15. $2500 marketing allowance.

    $838/$798/$757

That is using the discounted price as the CAP cost, with all other fees and taxes additional.

We only have new car lease programs.
    If this unit qualifies, then:
    .00006 MF and 46% residual.
The residual would be reduced to account for the current mileage.
The $2500 is a factory incentive (assuming this unit qualifies)

Thanks for the quick response, Michael. What do you think the % MSRP off is reasonable for a 2016?

Usually, 6% off MSRP, then deduct incentives.. is pretty good for Audi.

    Hello,

about to close a deal this week on an Audi A7 2016 Prestige and need to some help, trying to figure the numbers out, and lower my payments to low 600's

    36mo/12k

    MSRP 76,020
    Sale price: 64,490
    Residual value 48%
    MF 0.00026
Money down: 3,000 (to cover dealers fee, etc)

dealer is offering: monthly payments of $795 (including taxes) state: MA

what would be a decent monthly payment considering those numbers?

    Thank you in advance!!

Looks like the MF is marked up, slightly.

Appears that the $3000 involves some CAP cost reduction, as I get $804/mo.+tax, with those numbers.
The money factor markup adds about $20/mo.

There is a $2500 marketing allowance plus $1000 conquest/loyalty money on this model. Plus, Audi covers the first payment.

The deal looks pretty good from here.
