Hi. Could you give me the MF, Residual value for a 16 Mazda 3 S GT 4dr for 10k/36months.
I believe the lease cash is 1630 and plus 750 lease loyalty plus 250 bonus cash. Can you verified this are applicable? I am currently leasing a Mazda 6

    I live in Olympia, Wa.

    Thanks

.00001 and 52%, assuming automatic. Subtract 1% if you want a stick.

We only show the $1630 lease cash. No information on other incentives.

    .00003 MF

    36/15 - 52% for automatic, 51% for stick

    $625 lease cash

Add 2% if you want 12K miles per year.

Okay, here is what I've been offered
Red i3 Touring with Popular Equipment Package, 6 speed
    List of $22,330
    36 months/12K per year
1st payment and dealer fee upfront ($599 dealer fee) FL Location
$199 per month plus tax for 35 more months plus sales tax. No other fees except MV Fee Includes $500 loyalty rebate

Another dealer just called and offered the same deal for $172 per month plus sales tax. Can I do better? I don1t think so :)

Without knowing the selling price of either deal, we can't really tell you.

We suggest negotiating the purchase price, not the monthly payment.

How much is due at signing for each of these deals?

i3 Touring auto Sedan with Popular Equipment Package and Soul Red
    MSRP: $23,330
    Capitalized Cost: $21,265.48
Rebates (includes $750 lease Loyalty Rebate) of $2,488
    Amount Paid @ Signing: $500
    Rent Charge: $11.70 (wow)
    Residual: $11,993
    Depreciation: $6,784.52
    1st Monthly Payment: $201.04 Included
    Registration Fees: $157.35 Included
    Sales Tax (6.5%) $161.73 Included
    Acquisition Fee:$595 included
    Dealer Fee: $799 included
    Initial Registration Fee: $157.35 Included
    Misc: $130
    Zurich Shield (?) $199 Included
    36 months/12K
    35 Payments of $201.01
I even asked for the first three services free, I got the 1st one free

BTW, I spoke to or met five other local dealers (up to 100 miles away) and were given prices for a similar car of $215 plus tax per month ($229 with tax) with $795 up front. So, shopping one more dealer (fairly local) saved me over $1300 from the 4 other deals I got.

Future recommendation, if you are going to lease or buy, go in three or 4 days before the end of the month. Sometime, they will do anything to sell a car to make a quota.

I think I did very well. Did I?

$201/mo with tax on a $23K car is a great lease payment.

I wouldn't mind getting that sort of payment on my next lease ... if there is a next lease for me (long story).

I'm looking for Residual, MF and lease cash for 2016 Mazda3 Hatchback Auto sTouring trim with MSRP of $26555 in San Francisco Bay Area. Lease terms 3Y/36k and 2Y/24k and 0 cap cost reduction.

I got 2 quotes with selling price of approx $22600 without any negotiation. I will be using Mazda loyalty and haggling the price down further. What is a recent great deal that you guys have heard of?

    Thank you kyfdx :)
The 22600 price includes $1000 customer cash...so a lease would a little more than this price I would imagine.
Edit: When I asked for a lease, the sale price was adjusted to 23900 including acquisition and MF=0.00053

Looks like they took the customer cash back, but didn't give you any credit for their lease cash.
Then, a marked up money factor. Suddenly, the low price isn't so low, huh?

Daughter may be interested into i Sport 4dr Hatchback . She lives at Home. I just bought a cx-5 so if she leases will she also be eligible for loyalty cash since as the requirement says it is same household? So that would be Cust cash $1,000 and Loyalty lease cash of $750. On top of that I see $625 towards new lease. I am hoping that means all 3 and not one or the other for her new lease. That would total to $2,375 off the purchase price before negotiating the residual and MF to determine monthly. Thanks in advance my good sir!

The customer cash is for a purchase only. Should qualify for loyalty and lease cash, however.

Hi. Can I get the MF and residual value in Texas for a 2016 Mazda 3 i Sport Sedan, automatic trans for 36/12K, 36/15K, and 48/15K if they do 48 month leases. Here is the preliminary offer I was given, but we have yet to discuss details like residual value or MF. I'm trying to gauge if this is a decent offer or if I can do better, and by how much. Thanks.
    $18.895 2016 Mazda 3 i Sport Sedan, automatic trans
    $1,0000 Preferred Package
$ 835 Delivery, Processing and Handling Fee
    $20,730 Total MSRP
    $19,779 Invoice Price
    $18,979 SALE PRICE plus TTL
    Lease Offer
    $218/month for a 36/12K lease with $2,000 cash and $500 trade-in.
Again, we did not yet discuss MF or residual value used.
    Financing Offer
    $285/month with $2,000 cash and $500 trade-in.
I just realized they did not give me total months (60 0r 72), I’m assuming 72.

I just saw a Mazda TV commercial where they were promoting a leasing offer of $0 down/$0 sec. deposit/$0 first month payment. Then they showed a 2016 Mazda 3 i Sport Sedan (manual trans) for $16,998, $215/month for 36 months/12K miles, with a residual value of $9,153.20. If the residual value is based on the MSRP of $18.680 that is 0.49. If it’s based on the sale price of $16,998 it’s 0.5385. Is this a good offer? It sounds better than the original offer I listed above.

    51% and .00001 for 36/12. $1630 lease cash. Subtract 2% for 15K miles.

You don't want to lease a Mazda for 48 months; the numbers are horrible by comparison.

Texas is one of a handful of states that taxes the entire selling price, even on a lease. Makes the payment expensive, relative to other states.

Would be good to know what the $2000 cash and $500 trade equity covers...

That offer you saw on TV was before taxes.

Thanks for the quick reply and info. I read elsewhere on this site that you multiple the MF by 2400 to get the effective interest rate. So a MF of .00001 is 0.024, or 2.4%. Is that correct? Also, I'm not totally clear about how the lease cash offer is applied. Is that an incentive that can be subtracted from the $19,779 invoice price or the $18,979 final sale price? And for 15K miles, is the 2% subtracted from the 51% residual, so it would be 49%?

Regarding the TV ad, yes, in the small print at the bottom it states that $1,580.23 for TT&L is due at signing. And I just discovered earlier tonight that like you mentioned, in Texas you pay taxes upfront on the total cost of the car. I'm assuming that if you plan to buy the car after the lease term is up it is not as much of an issue, but if not, leasing is a little less attractive than in other states.

    .00001 = .024 %, not 2.4%... so, almost zero.

Hello! I am hoping I can get some helpful feedback. Here is a summary:
    2016 Mazda3 S GT sedan, auto
    MSRP $26925
    On Sale for $25749
Rebates: $1630 Mazda Lease allowance and $500 Mazda Loyalty (Should this be $750 Loyalty Lease cash instead of the $500?)
Adding Mazda Remote Engine Start (Key fob, not app) discounted for $456 installed.
    MF: .00001
    RV: 52% / 14001
    Admin: $249
    Acquisition: $595
    36/10k

Dealer has been unclear while emailing. He quoted me $325 with his local 9.15% tax rate, but the only calculations I can come up with close to this number require me leaving out the $456 for remote start. Not sure who messed up here.

Does this seem like a good deal? Is $456 still too much to pay for an installed remote start? He says he can't get away with going lower as this is already half off.

I'll have a 2010 Mazda 3 s Sport to trade in I'm hoping to get a good value on.

I know the 52% RV and .00001 MF end 9/6. Any clue what they will be after that in September for the 2017 Mazda3? I'm undecided on the 2016 or 2017.

Thanks for any help you can offer!

If all of those costs are rolled into the lease, then I get $313/mo.+tax.

    No info on lease loyalty.
Not sure I would pay $15/mo. for remote start, but the installation price seems reasonable.

Thanks, kyfdx. Yeah his $325 quote included tax, so he definitely wasn't including the $456 for the remote starter, but was letting me think he had.

i3 Touring auto Sedan with Popular Equipment Package and Soul Red
    MSRP: $23,330
    Capitalized Cost: $21,265.48
Rebates (includes $750 lease Loyalty Rebate) of $2,488
    Amount Paid @ Signing: $500
    Rent Charge: $11.70 (wow)
    Residual: $11,993
    Depreciation: $6,784.52
    1st Monthly Payment: $201.04 Included
    Registration Fees: $157.35 Included
    Sales Tax (6.5%) $161.73 Included
    Acquisition Fee:$595 included
    Dealer Fee: $799 included
    Initial Registration Fee: $157.35 Included
    Misc: $130
    Zurich Shield (?) $199 Included
    36 months/12K
    35 Payments of $201.01
I even asked for the first three services free, I got the 1st one free

BTW, I spoke to or met five other local dealers (up to 100 miles away) and were given prices for a similar car of $215 plus tax per month ($229 with tax) with $795 up front. So, shopping one more dealer (fairly local) saved me over $1300 from the 4 other deals I got.

Future recommendation, if you are going to lease or buy, go in three or 4 days before the end of the month. Sometime, they will do anything to sell a car to make a quota.

I think I did very well. Did I?

$201/mo with tax for a car that stickers at $23K is a great deal.

    Congrats, and enjoy!

So the Zero to Drive event was extended to Oct. 3. I assume this means RV and MF are still 52% and .00001 for 2016 Mazda 3 SGT (Kansas). Any idea if these numbers will be the same for the 2017s coming this month? Debating between the 2016 and 2017.
