seems to be a popular price point. a similar car, same miles, same money. But I like this interior better, and I think it has a few more options on it.
Nice cars, but tough value proposition. At 8yrs/80k on each, they are getting close to that time when lots of maintenance will be needed. So $12k will probably turn into $16k in short order.

AWD.. ridiculously fast.
I actually drove it about 75 miles. Usually, I just take them home and park it.
Solidified my own feeling that I don't need any car with over 300 HP.
Wife texted this morning that the timeline to get a new car (and possibly wife!) almost got accelerated. Driving to work on 3 lane highway, in right lane, a semi In the middle lane decided it preferred her lane, so he came on over. She ended up on the shoulder at 65 mph. Thankfully it is wide there and nothing to hit so it was just a scare.
Old Acuras seem to claim big resale. I know of someone who buys Acuras (Vigors, TLs, RSXs, Integras, Legends) with over 150K miles. Puts a few bucks into them, and sells them for good profit. He claimed his resale cars are good for another 150K miles.
I'd want to see documented evidence of the timing belt service. Should have also replaced the tensioner, drive belts, thermostat, and while you're doing all that changing the coolant is a good idea.

I can’t imagine doing a T belt and not doing the minor bits while in there. I think all the kits even include them. And nutty to not throw on a fresh water pump.
Looks like it gets the exact same powertrain as the i3S. My experience with BMW range reporting is that they are very conservative with their estimates.

I took my wife’s X1 in for new brake fluid/coolant/oil/spark plugs and I got a new X5 xDrive40i loaner. That is one nice cruiser. A lot bigger and heavier than I prefer, but I really like the new instrument cluster as well as the latest iteration of iDrive. Handling and power are adequate, but if I was wanting a BMW SUV it would have to be an X3 M40i at a minimum.

Yes, as far as she told me, just rear bumper damage to his, he's fine (similar to what happened to GFs CX-5). I think he's leasing, but less than 24 hours after picking it up. Commuting's a dangerous game.

Anybody have dealings with VROOM to buy their car? I found that their bids were higher than Carvana and Carmax, much higher than Autotrader (utilizing KBB).
I never shopped to them. I do see their ads though for sales, and looks to me like they don't always have as nice stuff. Kinda curious where their inventory comes from .
But if they are set up like Carvana and legit, take their offer if it is better. Just hope they don't try and stick it to you in the end, but that would definitely become known in reviews.
keeping on my Volvo kick, I actually always liked these. I think the styling is sharp, and aged well. Pretty well loaded up, and should be pretty quick with 300HP. AWD too, so good in the winter. Great color too. And of course, some of the best seats ever (the 80 always seemed to have slightly roomier thrones than the smaller cars) No clue what they really go for, but for the age and miles, does not seem like a crazy price.

Nice style, nice color. I like lower miles (under. 60k) but that’s my fetish. How is that vintage on reliability. Did Ford still own them in 2012?
No, Ford sold them in 2010, but they never affected Volvo's cars, so it didn't matter. If nothing else, they saved them some money with the joint development of the S40/Mazda3/Focus platform.

Yes. I used Vroom once and Carvana once. I tried to use Vroom a second time, but they gave me a hard time about the car from my dad's estate being in the name of the estate, so I sold it locally instead. When I did use them, they were slower than Carvana. Vroom was kind of a mystery as to when they were picking it up, when they were paying it off, etc, and they insisted everything be FedEx'd back and forth, while Carvana was all electronic. I believe Carvana was in the neighborhood of 4 days start to finish, while Vroom took nearly 2 weeks.

Speaking of Volvos, I saw something on one (a S60) this week that surprised me. Walking past it in a parking lot, I noticed it had steel winter wheels with decent-looking wheel covers with the Volvo logo in the center. I don't remember seeing a Volvo equipped that way before in recent years. Maybe I just haven't been paying attention.

Probably something the dealers in Canada offer as a winter tire/wheel package, less expensive than OEM alloys.
Or maybe even as a basic package. In the early 00s, MB in Canada equipped basic W203 C-class with plastic hubcaps, never offered in this market. Always weird variances with that brand between the markets.
Funny thing, my friend who actually bought a loaded new MKZ for himself also picked up a Fusion for his other half. They are pleased with both cars, and this is his second MKZ. Ford is likely going to lose a customer when it comes to replacement.
I like that Mini Hardtop Electric also. If there are deals to be had toward the end of the year, I'd consider one, taking advantage of the $7,500 federal rebate plus the $4,000 Colorado state rebate (that goes down to $2,500 in 2021).
Though a 2017 i3 REX can be had for less than $20k, and that would relieve any sense of range anxiety.
Zephyr got renamed to MKZ and yes it's going away. That's why i bought one before it is the last year they are bring manufactured. What is all this talk of timing belts and water pumps? Last couple of vehicles we kept for 12+ years and 140 to 150k only had the accessory belt, tensioner and PCV replaced.

Pros - Seats, quiet cruiser, mine was dead reliable. AWD system is good. I think this styling has aged well.
Cons - Thirsty w/T6, and it wants premium. Heavy, and it drives that way.
No HIDs on this one is no bueno. I can't even imagine how the NA inline-6 must have driven, but dog comes to mind.
