if the absurd values on Mavericks were still out there, and the local dealer with the very good lease deal on the Ridgeline still had some, converting the current 2 cars into a nice used 2 series convertible and a loaded Ridgeline lease, with a lot of cash into the bank to pay for the new house, could make a lot of sense! Just with an awful lot of moving parts. Not the least of which is finding the convertible (the other parts are actually pretty simple!)

You would think that BMW would offer an IP that provides useful information to the driver- but all you get is a temperature gauge for either oil or water.

And yet Jeep supplies this as standard:

Watching @roadburner turn on BMW is not something I had on my 2020’s bingo card.
But, on Sunday I did a BMW drive event , so I can’t be trusted either.

BMW has lost me as well. The new designs, the subscription stuff, the shift away from performance and the value for what you pay just aren't there for me anymore.

I didn’t turn on BMW; BMW turned on me. Every time I drive the Club Sport or recall how well the M235i drove and performed I am just disappointed with the current styling, the interior ergonomics and the overall driving experience of most all of their cars. As one BMW CCA member I know put it, “The Ultimate Driving Machine has left the building.”

Me too
I love how the M240 drives but it certainly feels like the F22/F23 is the last of its kind.
My only complaint is I have a trim rattle near the driver side convertible latch that I need to figure out. Of course despite the cold in Seattle I’ve just been driving with the top down to solve the problem.

Another grand off and I’m in! Can just cancel the new house.
For that I’d even overlook the awful black interior.

I’m still getting inquiries about the 1999 Wrangler- on practically a daily basis. I had three today before lunch. Insane.

Also, as pretty as that Cayman might be, I don't want a 4-cylinder.

Not that there’s anything wrong with that…
Ordered a replacement bottle of genuine GM slime for the mobility kit since the one one the Volt expired two years ago. I assume I could use the green stuff from Autozone, but the GM bottle fits perfectly in the mobility kit.

Which probably explains why it’s for sale. I’m still laughing from reading it is a 4 cylinder. Should be a law preventing that stuff.

Heck, my brand new build for a 4-cyl cayman comes to less than that at $71k.

Thats funny/interesting/ironic. We went through 2 Samsung front loaders that ended up with issues just like @nyccarguy is experiencing with the repair bill and within the same timeframe. We went back to a Maytag top loader and have had no issues in 6 years.

We still need to purchase the WD set for the new house. Might do that through lowes if the appliance store doing the kitchen isn’t as cheap. No clue yet what we will get. Other than it will be a top load washer.

I’ve learned never to yap about how old/well my cars or appliances work. I thought everyone knew that.
