This was new I think, or at least newish. It was the current design for sure and looked brand-new. No window sticker but that is meaningless here as they are not required by law and this dealer always removes them from new vehicles on their lot.
As for @stickguy 's thought that it might be a dealer special, I doubt it. They don't do that at this place. Hell, they won't bring in anything but black-interior cars because they are afraid nothing else will sell. They are not great risk-takers.
Interesting! I see a few of them regularly, but I have never seen one newer than 2006; I don't think they were continued at the 2007 MY remodel (in the US, at least).

I like this one too. It has a very rare option for this area: rear wheel drive. Yup, it is the one non-Xdrive recent BMW in the NE! Like the color too, and not bad miles for the money I guess. Much more my size and style.
That looks nice, and seems fairly priced. I like the red metallic but am not fond of the alloy wheels or the black interior. Rearview camera but no backup sensors? I like the pano roof and the cell phone holder next to the gear selector. Not much B2B warranty left if it has 30k on it.
@stickguy - yes it is RWD is still under factory warranty, & has only 24K miles. Price looks OK, but consider it is the 1st year of a new body style, new engine, new transmission, new electric power steering...
I check the BMW CPO site every now & again. Any CPO 335i Xdrive in my area is still listed in the high $30K to low $40K range. Now granted these are mid $50 to $60K cars new, but still out of my el cheapo price range. Even 328xi ///M Sports have high $30K to low $40K asking prices.
I saw a gorgeous 328xi ///MSport wagon today. 2K miles. CPO Elite - $47K asking price. Ridiculous!

Now that BMW is absolutely something I could live with. Low miles and a very nice color, only would like one with a beige interior. This is my first vehicle with a light interior, wife had a red over white with a white 1/2 vinyl roof and that white vinyl was a bear to keep clean. Even the red color was tough to keep looking good even though I had it waxed on a regular basis. One time I had it clay barred and it came out absolutely outstanding. But so far, my beige is looking very clean and I'd do it again. From what I've seen, used BMW's seem to be more reasonably priced than MB's and I'd have no problem also doing a CPO BMW. Something interesting, did an Autotrader.com search on used MB's under $25K and found something very disturbing, the majority of them had multiple owners and accidents on their Car Fax reports...would never ever buy a vehicle with any kind of accident to be honest. Think if it came down to a CPO unit that had an accident for say $26K, I'd rather just lower my sights and get a brand spanking new vehicle for that money. Knowing my just bough CPO unit had accident damage would just ruin the whole experience for me as I have a very low tolerance for that sort of stuff. For that kind of cash, would just get a new Elantra or Forte and call it a day. One thing I love about the last four vehicles I've had is that they've all been new when I bought them, no previous owner or accidents to deal with. Think my low tolerance will make going entry level lux for my next vehicle a real challenge as I'll walk no matter what kind of damage it was. That's why taking over the wife's A3 might just work as long as she has no issues by that time.

This one is nice looking. Just needs a manual trans! Got the performance pack and Recaros, so about as sporty as a V6 is going to get. Though not sure it still has the standard summer tires. Not getting away with that up here in the winter!
I'm a bit surprised and confused. Went to the Jag site and built an FPace and XE. Both AWD, both 340hp, both with base features plus cold weather and nav. FPace=$45,8xx and XE=$47,1xx. Huh? So their SUV undercuts their entry level sedan? That's pretty odd, no? What am I missing?

@stickguy - I'm with you regarding how fast to drive. Granted around here, the speed limits are absurdly low due to the population density (55 mph, 50 mph, 45 mph), so I tend to set my cruise at between 65 & 70. 70 mph in a 50 in NYC will get you pulled over by the NYPD's highway patrol unit.
When driving down south where posted speed limits were much higher than they are here, I rarely found myself driving more than 75, even if the speed limit is 70.
its partially why I complain about my Legacy's lack of punch, but am not properly motivated to do anything about it. I would have to hold myself back from purchasing an ///M2 or Upcoming "base" Porsche Macan if I were to ever test drive them.

I recall sometime in the early 70's while I was based in Georgia that some of the small town cops were being so atrocious that the governor actually posted billboards warning drivers about to enter them.
The Subaru is in for service. I dropped it off just in time to get things done by the 30K mark. 29,995. It will have a synthetic oil & filter change, rear differential fluid drain & fill with 75 w90 synthetic, brake fluid change, CVT fluid drain & fill, tire rotation. I declined the cabin filter & air filter as I can do those myself. I was provided with a 2016 Forester as a loaner (5 K miles). Maybe it is a 2015.
Maybe the forester is lighter than my car, but I swear it feels like it has a bit more zip than my Legacy. No it's not a turbo.

Yeah, that one's pretty nice. I actually have a preference for the Charger, but wouldn't turn away a 300.
Oh, yesterday I went and looked at the 2008 Altima hybrid I was curious about. Other than a small scratch in the hood, and the half-hearted attempt to disguise the fact it was previously owned by a chain smoker, it seemed like it was in pretty nice shape. I sat in and fit okay...not as comfy as my Buick, obviously, but still decent. I had a friend with me who's taller than me (I'm 6'3", he's 6'5"), and he sat in it, and said it was fine for him. But, he also said "I don't see this car as being 'you'." I told him I wasn't trying to make a fashion statement...I just wanted something practical, economical, and now-priced.
But, the more I thought about it, I don't know that buying an out-of-warranty hybrid that wasn't popular when new is such a good idea. Plus, it's not *that* economical...35 city/33 highway. The latest Altimas, with a regular gasoline 4-cyl, are something like 27/39. And the dealer my buddy bought his Xterra from has a few 2015/2016 Altimas with less than 10K miles on them, for around $15-16K. They're basic models, but I can live with that. I think.
I think I have decided though...I'm tired of paying extra for 89 and 93 octane fuel. So, whatever I do end up buying, I want it to run on 87. Alas, that means no more Hemis!
I didn't realize the latest Sonata was a redesign...I just thought it was a facelift. I haven't been in one of those yet, but the 2010-14 style seemed roomy enough. I just didn't care for its style.
Interestingly, I saw a tv ad for the Kia Optima last night, and it caught my eye.

Not all engines are identical. Even if differences are measured in microns. I wonder what a typical manufacturer of engines finds acceptable in terms of performance variance between supposedly identical engine models in terms of HP and Torque numbers.

But woke up this morning to a blizzard, much worse than anticipated. I made my way to the office to fetch the wife's and my computers so we could work from home which turned out to be pretty dumb.
Made it to our office okay, but the ride home was more harrowing than any other drive I've made. Total white out in some places, lots of cars off the road and a jack-knifed semi blocking all lanes of the tollway (going the other direction than me thankfully).
In hindsight, I believe I was very lucky to have made it home. I did get stuck in my driveway, but was certainly happy to have made it there (and I was able to dig out enough to get into the garage).

I was thinking something similar. Maybe your car is just a little off? Could be any number of things.
Back in 1998 I leased a Yukon (my last GM and my last lease). It was an early 1999 model. My Mom had a 1997 that I liked quite a bit. Problem was, mine had some issue. I think the transmission was defective. Mom's Yukon was noticeably faster even though it had the same engine/transmission/axle ratio. I took mine in to be checked several times. The transmission just never felt right. Dealership refused to acknowledge any problem. They suggested that my Mom had possibly "hopped up" her Yukon. Both were sold and serviced from the same dealership. It was a disappointment every time I drove it. The dealership lost both of us as customers, too. None of us have even considered a GM product since.

@michaell - Yeah, the first dumb move was not bringing my laptop home yesterday, but the forecast was pretty mild, wasn't it?
The second dumb move was venturing out at all. It wouldn't have taken much for me to have gone off the road out on E-470. Very fortunate.
I had a harrowing experience on 470 myself years ago. Coming home from the airport in the '99 Beetle we had at the time. In the dark. Wind blowing the snow around ... could hardly see the lines. Not much to stop the snow blowing out there, for sure.
I don't watch much news, so didn't really see a forecast, other than snow was predicted.

Years ago, we had a major storm in October. Flew into the Denver Airport and picked up my car ('93 Accord) from long term parking. This was before cell phones, so I called the wife from the airport and told her I landed.
Took me 4 hours to get home - this was a 30 mile drive. Wipers froze to the windshield. Followed taillights as long as I could. Drove into a snowbank just a few miles from home; there were a bunch of kids out in their 4x4 pickup and they got me unstuck. Wife was very, very happy when I walked in the front door.

I'm in the I like driving in inclement weather group. In CA our bad weather is mild, mind you, but it is especially satisfying in my first AWD vehicle, the S4.
1) No tickets in bad weather. 2) AS long as traffic doesn't get in the way (which is a negative often in bad weather) summer "max" performance tires are magnificent as long as it isn't snowing. They can be spectacular in the rain. 3) Accelerating as if I stole my car and the pavement was dry when it's wet still makes me smile and grin to this day. Impossible in a 2WD car. Reminds me of a fellow Audi aficionado that has the personalized license plate "HATE2WD"

Oh, this is supposed to be the norm. March is the snowiest month in Denver - second snowiest is April.
Yup - just got through shoveling the driveway (I do have a Honda snowblower, but it pooped out on me with the deep wet snow after awhile). I'd say 20" seems about right. Our neighborhood, and particularly my cul-de-sac, is buried. My neighbor's F-150 got stuck getting out (with some shoveling, he eventually got out).
Forecast is still in the 50's tomorrow, so it'll melt quickly, but we may still be stuck for a bit in the morning.
I enjoy driving in the snow too given a capable car with good winter tires. And I continue to love having a manual for those conditions too. I never felt out of control with the car itself, but the white out conditions definitely had be gripping the wheel at times.

Folks like to use long past experiences to excuse their ignoring today's GM products or writing them off as soon as they can find one detail they don't like. I like having an open mind and looking at all/most vehicles when I'm considering a purchase. E.g., certainly can't just ignore HynKia products by their far past experiences people have had.

I went back and looked at the picture and saw what you were referring to, but I didn't write/draw anything - it's like that "Signs" movie or something! Some crazy pattern resulting from the heat of the engine or something. Weird!
I discovered something interesting today, poking around under the hood of the Sonata (have not been under there in, well, ages). Checked the oil (spot on, so not using anyway, which is good), and topped up the washer fluid (in advance of an easter trip). Decided to check the air filter for some reason, and it was the slickest design. There was a cover (with a pictogram on it) that snapped off. Under that, 2 little tabs that you rotate 90, and then the holder just pulls out. Pop the air filter out, new one in, slide it back into the slot and snap cover on. now that I figured it out, total labor time should be under 1 minute. Probably takes longer to open the box.
was shocked also to see that in LT 10K, the intake side was already filthy. No way that was going 30K or whatever the manual says. Will probably replace it in a couple of months at the 10K/halfway to giving it back date.

Ridiculous!

Maybe the forester is lighter than my car, but I swear it feels like it has a bit more zip than my Legacy. No it's not a turbo.

The S4 and newly purchased winter setup was impressive!

(I know some folks here really enjoy the current GM products. I grew up in the back seat of Oldsmobiles which always seemed like nice cars. I just had several issues with my personal GM products throughout the 90's)
Glad you had AWD to get you through the nasty bits.
Everybody in my house is home today. It's been a chore keeping the backyard dog-friendly; can't imagine what the driveway looks like.
Glad I don't deliver tonight.

The second dumb move was venturing out at all. It wouldn't have taken much for me to have gone off the road out on E-470. Very fortunate.

I don't watch much news, so didn't really see a forecast, other than snow was predicted.

Didn't leave the house for 36 hours after that.

Local news station indicates that 16.5" of snow has fallen where I live since about 4AM this morning.
Not sure what community @breld lives in, but it looks closer to 20" on the north side of Denver, closer to the foothills.

We were supposed to get walluped with snow this past weekend, but in the end we received about 3" on Wednesday, then another dusting on Saturday. The forecast called for ~6" each of those days.
And, @breld; were you avoiding that question about the writing on the hood of your S4?
