I have a couple questions on this lease quote. See the 3 things I pointed arrows to. What's a "cap fee" and is "customer cash" equivalent to a down payment? Thanks!

Customer cash should be your total amount due at signing. ($44.78 of it is downpayment, the rest is the first payment)
CAP fees are fees that are added to the CAP cost (not sure what fee, though)
CAP taxes is upfront sales tax on the rebate

That said, all those numbers in column #2 should add up to the Gross CAP, and that only adds up, if I leave out the $191 license fee and the $177.56 tax.

But, the calculation is correct, based on the Net CAP, so not sure where those two items are getting paid.

Could someone please share the MF/Residual for 24/12k on a 2017 Chevy Equinox FWD/AWD LS and all incentives in the seattle area? I'm trying to see if there is more than the $1500 lease cash and the $1600 conquest that I'm missing (regional ccr, bonus tag amounts, etc..) Thank you!

Where does lease cash, and conquest cash (if any) fit into the calculation? Do you use it to reduce the selling price or from your total payments? Thank you!

It's an incentive from GM. The dealer will likely include it in any offer, but it most likely has to be used as a CAP reduction.

Have this deal working in Texas and want to see if this is a good deal. 2017 Equinox LT MSRP of $30,550. 27 month lease with 15k miles, rolling in $5500 of negative equity on a trade. $1500 down and payment of $400.

That doesn't look like an offer; that looks like a promotion.

We would need to know the MSRP and the negotiated price in order to calculate a payment.

What state and tax rate?

What trim level? FWD or AWD?

Help me understand the trade in equity statement - do you own a car outright you are trading in?

$5500 over 27 months is adding over $200/mo to your payment. Why are you doing this?

What is the adjusted cap cost, with taxes and fees rolled in, less the $1500 out of pocket?

Rolling in the negative equity because don't have the money to buy out of the upside down position. I thought for every $1000 on a lease equals about $30 in payment, so I was calculating about $165 of payment was due to the negative equity. If you are saying it is over $200, then I am paying a little less than $200 for the lease which in looking through this forum seems like a pretty strong deal. Chevrolet was advertising a program on the LT for 24 months @10k miles for $399 dn plus ttl on a $27,600 for $199. I am getting a $30,500 unit at 15k miles a year for 27 months and $1500 down total.

The $30/mo. estimate is for a 36 month lease. Amortizing the negative equity over fewer payments increases the monthly hit (though the total is the same).

While the lease deal on the new vehicle might be good, you are still financing $2700 of negative equity. Is your current vehicle a lease? Or, is it financed?

Having problems with the car, a/c is out and new compressor is $1k. I hate to put money into a car that has little value and also concerned that other repair bills could hit.

If you can handle the $400 payment, you'll be even in 27 months, but you'll also need a car at that time.
But, if I were in Texas, I'd want a longer lease. That way you can spread out that big tax bite and your negative equity over more months.

I would like to know what current incentives apply to leases. Chevrolet is offering various cash programs but the fine print says some may not be available with some lease offers and I don't know how to figure out which ones apply. 

I am in Houston. Looking at 2017 Equinox LT FWD with an MSRP of 31,670.

What should the money factor and residual value be?

I am looking at 12k/36 mos.

I will not have any cash from trade in, could afford up to $4k at signing although I would rather not put out that much up front and take a bit higher monthly payment. I thought it wasn't a good idea to put out more than $1k at signing on a lease anyways?

Also, I have a Mazda dealership willing to "bend over backwards" to get me into a CX-5 i.e. better trade in. I have not started talking money with Mazda yet. I would be interested in any opinions/suggestions between the two vehicles. I have researched the two and see that Mazda has better ratings but I thought Chevrolet was running a better deal? Please help!

We suggest only the first payment and any DMV / registration costs be paid at signing.

I'd suggest you test drive both the Equinox and the CX-5, to determine if you have a preference. A good deal on a car you don't like isn't a good deal.
