Given it’s almost the end of the year, any chance I can score the lease for under $450 a month? They are offering $8.5k off MSRP right now on some of the dealers website, should be able to haggle more off if contact them. Thanks again.

Thanks, Kyfdx! A dealer that I contacted today told me the residual is 41%, any reason why it's higher? It's a good thing, but just wanted to make sure that's right.

Another question, when I talked to the dealer about the lease cash, they said they had no idea what I was talking about. Is there a flyer or something that I can find to show them?

Sorry, I gave you the 15K/yr residual. 41% is correct for 36/12.

The dealer cash is just that. Cash for the dealer from VW. They aren't going to disclose that.

ok thanks, did not change at all from november numbers. i would have thought they would have gotten even more aggressive, but i guess MF cannot get any lower and they cannot change the residual. . but, i assume the dealers will have hidden dealer cash and volume bonuses to move these by the end of the month, do you agree?

Anything is possible to help move inventory. Can't imagine there are a lot of these left on the lots, and the Atlas is selling way better.

Thanks Michael, I am trying to negogitate a 36/12 lease on the Touareg Wolfsburg edition with a $41k sales price, MSRP of $54,350, MF of .00001 and residual of 41%. The sales prices includes all dealers fees, etc. The only thing that is not included is GA ad valorem taxes of 7%. There is no sales tax in GA. I am coming up with $521.00 payment plus the 7% ad valorem taxes of $3,430, so a payment of $616. Am I missing something? Dealer is giving me quotes of $775 but won't show me their numbers. Frustrating. Thanks!!

If the dealer won't show you the numbers, then they are hiding something. I wouldn't make a $40K deal without seeing everything.

Yes, the math is right.

It's possible that the sale price isn't valid on a lease. They may have incentives that they can't collect, if it isn't on a purchase

We don't have any information on lease programs for the 2016 TDI Touareg.

Dealers are getting 15% of MSRP as a sales bonus for each model sold, this month.

I do have those numbers, and no, they would have no relevance to any 2016 model.

If they are leasing the 2016 (and, they probably are), we'll probably see a lease program for them in February.

Would have to be a humongous discount to make that work.

I think the new 2015 TDIs have lease/purchase programs, if you can find one. But, there is a lot of pent up demand. Not sure you'll get a great deal.

Yeah, called a couple of dealers with new 2016 TDI's. No lease option. I doubt I'll get a humongous discount of a 2017 gas. Dealers seem pretty conservative around here.
