That poor Chevelle SS is just rotting away already.

    Jeepster plow truck.

That Sunoco looks exactly like the one near where I grew up and took cars for service.

Sunoco is found generally in the mid-Atlantic USA /PA/NJ/NY AFAIK. There's a few here in New England but not many.

I think the exotic car in the snowy rusty scene is a Morris Oxford, a little old then and apparently aging better than that Chevelle.

I noticed the sign on the right says No Parking, but nobody is on the driver's seat of the maroon 67 Biscayne. The driver is outside cleaning the windshield.

    @fintail

Yes that is a Mk III Morris Oxford - the one that was later a Hindustan Ambassador for decades.
Same 1489cc engine as my Magnette though only one carb and slightly lower state of tune too.

    EDIT

Never thought of it as exotic when they were ten-a-penny in my childhood

66 Chevy Belaire(?) wagon. We had an Impala wagon that looked like that. Seems to me the rear lights didn't have backup markers in them.

Edsel, but I choose the 59 Chevy as the ugliest rear end. A blue 52/54 Ford in the background.

The bat-wing tail of the '59 Chevy isn't a thing of beauty but it looks way better to me than the '60 Edsel (or Ford). I'm pretty sure FoMoCo styling got the idea from Chevy.

In Edsel picture, the blue car above its rear window is a 1955 Oldsmobile. Lower line--not a 98.

And beside the Edsel, a 39-40 Ford.

Maybe no surprise, I don't mind the 60 Edsel, I will admit the rear is not the most flattering view. A wagon or hardtop might be cooler, or of course the convertible.
  • fintailfintail Member Posts: 58,483
I see 2 or maybe 3 Econolines, bronze 63 Mercury out front, 59 Caddy flat top speeding by, maybe the rear of a red/black 68 big Ford.

Shelby. Looks like a '69. guessing a GT350 since there are no 500 stripes. I love the color.

    According to Wiki:

"No production of 1970 Shelby GT350 and 500 models was undertaken; however, unsold 1969 models were given 1970 vehicle identification numbers under FBI supervision. The 1970 models had two cosmetic changes, a front chin spoiler and two black hood stripes. The rest of the changes had to do with emissions. The GT500 had the carburetor modified and marked "ed" (edited) on tag. The distributor in both the GT 350 and GT500 was changed to a 1970 version. A total of 789 were re-VIN'd."

With no front view your question cannot be easily answered.

In Vegas, I believe the red and white car in the foreground is a 63 Galaxie. Must have been good to be a Ford dealer there.

I am moved by my slightly weird interests to mention that the Rambler (which, incidentally is a '63) is a bit of a rare bird; a 2-door sedan. AMC offered them, but most people who were shopping Ramblers wanted a 4-door sedan or a wagon.

Truth is '69 + 70 Sheby 'Stangs were very similar, chin spoiler was optional on both. That car is a1969.

Truth is that the '70 Shelbys were re-VIN'ed '69s as I posted above.

I spotted this little car in the latter part of the summer parked in a driveway a few blocks away from my house. At first I thought it was a Nissan Figaro, but soon realized it was not. Today I saw it uncovered so I grabbed a pic of it. Even with Google searching by image no results were returned. Finally after a bit of sleuthing I know what it is. Let's see how everyone else does.
