I see an Opel badge on 7387, and it appears more upscale than most NA market GM products, so it probably is an Opel.
Here in Aus, we're getting both the Chevrolet (read: Daewoo) Captiva and the Opel Antara, both called the Holden Captiva. I thought it was clever because the line-up goes:
Captiva SX 5-Seat
Captiva CX 7-Seat
Captiva LX 7-Seat
Captiva Maxx (which is the Opel Antara; therefore it gets a better interior and price constraints won't matter because it's the top-of-the-line model)
I just don't know how it's going to compete against the Ford Territory, though... which is bigger, more powerful and with RWD.
By the way, you may recognise the taillights from this car... any guesses?
Actually it's a Vauxhall Antara. :P

I'll take a wild guess and say it shares parts with a Nissan of some sort, since they're partners.

I think the main reason those older 2-door SUVs died out was because they just weren't that practical as passenger vehicles. They used the same-sized doors as pickup trucks, so that made entry/exit extra difficult for the back seat. And they were built on a stubby wheelbase, so the back seat was usually pushed pretty far back between the wheel wells, making it a tight, uncomfortable place to sit.
They might have been based on full-sized trucks, but they were really stubby. A 1996 Bronco, for example, was only 183" long. The 4-door compact SUVs, such as the S-10 Blazer, Explorer, etc, were probably better suited to the needs of most buyers. The full-sized Blazer was redone around 1992 or so, and was a bit bigger than before, but still used conventional pickup truck doors, making back seat access difficult. The 4-door standard-sized SUV's, such as the Yukon/Tahoe, Expedition, Armada, and Sequoia, are more like 200-206"

Both pre-date the Renault-Nissan partnership.
The first car to benefit from the partnership was the current Micra.

It looks a bit like a Shuco tin toy based on a 300SL but it is in fact a Wartburg 311 Sports ca. 1957.

My BIL had a 3 door version of this .. RS trim level. Bought it when his Toyota pickup was stolen, stripped and totalled by the insurance company 1 or 2 months after he made the last payment on it.
P.S., you are both right about the Honda/Acura Integra.

Rover died again soon after down here. It didn't come back until a year or so ago... and then died again. This time, it died all over the world.

And RockyLee, Rover is different to Land Rover... I'm a little confused that you're confused, to be quite honest.
