There most certainly was a Falcon Wagon, my buddy had a '61 six-cylinder/three-on- the tree. We used it as a surfer wagon for transporting our co-owned Hobie board.
You're right, a Tuk Tuk, I don't know if it's from the official importer you found, or some oddball import. Guy with a bushy grey beard driving, two folks in back. Not what I'd want to be in during a crash!
I rode them in Bangkok ~20 years ago - you know how crazy motorcyclists lane split here? Now apply that to one of these things, with everyone else doing the same thing amidst dozens of other Tuk Tuks, scooters and taxis, not to mention the occasional elephant. They aren't (weren't) the cleanest engines around either, and that city gave my contact lens fits, back when I wore them. They'be been trying to outlaw them for years.
It's a Ferrari F50 1995-97, the third generation of Ferrari supercars, the earlier 288GTO and F40 s had fixed roofs and, yes, they were better looking..
Well unless cousin Bob has the complete jig/dolly to slide out the engine/transmission assembly as a unit, and the box 'o special tools to disassemble it, and the magic Ferrari black boxes to tune it, I'm afraid not....
The F50's engine is really a Formula 1 engine tuned for the street. If you blow it up, Ferrari *makes* you another one from scratch. They'll even re-stamp it with the original numbers for you (no extra charge).
I was kinda harsh, but all things being relative, it's ugly for a Ferarri.
Lamentably the days of beautiful Ferraris may be a thing of the past. IMO the new California is ugly and the new 458 Italia is a shapeless blob. Only the 599GTB and the 612 Scaglietti remain to remind us that Ferraris are supposed to be gorgeous.
Like Mr. Ferrari used to say: "You buy the engine. We give you the body for free".
Well Enzo didn't make a lot of ugly cars in his time .
It used to be Ferrari would give you a better engine than say a Corvette but not so much now. For the money you should get a really fast car and great styling; I'd buy an Aston before most current Ferraris.
True but nothing gives you the "experience" of a Ferrari. Nothing is even close. I doubt a stock Corvette engine could endure what a Ferrari engine can endure. You can build 'em up, though, but not at Corvette MSRP. Astons are, to me, GT cars, not race cars. Ferraris are ready for the track pretty much.
It sure is a 356 but just which 356 (there are subtle differences).
It looks like it has the wheels simple hubcaps from a 356A (note Ruetter emblem)> ">
..but the twin Grilles in back denote a 356B/T6 ('62 or '63) as does the fuel filler door on the right in the first shot>
..Okay it's a 356B/T6 with older wheels but what the heck is that "60" on the trunk lid, there was a "Super 90" but I never heard of a 356/60? :confuse:
Yeah 356s often have incorrect parts here and there. But it's definitely a Porsche 356B, 1962-63 and yes, the Porsche 60 script is correct. Wheels look like "A" wheels.
We'd need the VIN number and we could nail it down very closely, and the engine # would tell us what's really under the hood. We often find 912 motors, which is actually good for the car's running but not so good for its value.
Comments
I can imagine a wave — trying to catch the front seat passenger girl :P — flooding the car if the doors are opened like in the video.

Edit - well, it looks like Tuk Tuk is the brand.
Can't beat Thai's for styling vehicles. Especially the trucks. The dashboards get a bit nuts though. Talk about distracted driving.

They should call it the F-Ugly.

I actually like the F50 more than the Enzo - it's that giant nose. Makes me think of Squidward from the SpongeBob cartoons.

I'm also not a fan of the smiling grille on the 612, though the rest of the car looks nice.

'Til we tried to put it all together one night
And that's when we noticed that something was definitely wrong.
The transmission was a '53
And the motor turned out to be a '73
And when we tried to put in the bolts all the holes were gone.".....
We had two on the left and one on the right
But when we pulled out the switch all three of 'em come on.
