    Don't negotiate the actual MF amount - simply tell the dealer you won't sign where the MF has been marked up. They know what the base rate is.

    The calculations are correct.
    Can't tell you if the lease variables are correct, as it's a USBank lease, and we don't have their program.

    So, $ZERO due at signing?

    We don't have Memorial Day special info.

    24/12: .00122 MF and 62% residual
    36/12: .00099 MF and 57% residual

    Thanks! Dealer is saying that "the .00103 is a buy rate from the lender. We have standards from the lenders that we use, as do all dealers." I interpret that as "we are going to charge you a higher MF of .00187 that we quoted vs honoring the .00103 best rate available." Am I off in my assumption? That higher rate equates to about $70 extra/month based on my math, which I'd rather not pay just in finance padding.

    Yeah, so I made a run at a $53k Silverado today for a friend (after clear discussion about fine print of online pricing with salesperson), and salesperson called me back and claimed mf was 0.0013 instead of 0.00103 and 54% on residual instead of 59% (crew cab 15k/36). Payment $700-750 with $2,600 down. Absolutely baffling. I haven't had an experience like that for about 20 years, and I do a lot of car deals for myself, family, and friends. We have a $70k+ Tahoe that is $720/mo with no cap cost reduction. Dealership has some poor reviews online for shady stuff, but mostly from uneducated buyers who don't know what they are walking in to and get fleeced. Gotta start over with someone new or pull the shotgun deal to multiple dealers and let them fight for it as the pressure to move units becomes more intense Monday into Tuesday.
