Are you a current or recent car shopper who bought an EV and then installed solar – or who had solar already, making the decision to go electric easier?
OR
Are you a recent EV buyer (past 3 months) as a result of manufacturer incentives and dealer discounts on these vehicles, including year-end deals? Were you convinced to buy an EV after finding a good end-of-year deal, or due to uncertainty around which EVs will no longer qualify for full/partial EV tax credits in 2024? Not sure if this thread deals with financing but im wondering if i have a soldi deal in place for a 2018. GT Premium, PP1, Active Exhaust, and Enhanced Security Package. Sticker is 45,280 dealer took off 3,045. Then 3k in rebates. Sale price of 39,235.

Is this a good deal for a 2018 or can I do better? for a car that is considered a leftover.

2.9% APR financing up to 60 months
But, if you take the special financing, you give up $2000 of the rebates.

No idea on pricing, but you can research it, here:

I went looking for a 2018 Ford Mustang Gt coupe with the PP1.

    MSRP $39,990
    Selling price $34,900
Taxes 9% ( Ca 93234 Northern California region) so about $3,248 in sales tax
    0% Financing for 72 months.

So roughly finance $38,148 I don’t recall exact numbers but I do remember the monthly it’s $565.19 for 72 months. When I multiply my monthly by 72 I get $40,693.68.

What im I missing? where can the other $2,500 be coming from if it’s 0% Finance.

Can I get some help on what to look for if I go back to get it?

DMV fees are roughly 1.1% of MSRP ($440)
    CA Doc fee is $85

Ask the dealer about the other $2000 - it's possible they've slipped in some sort of maintenance contract or warranty into the deal.

    Look for the Amount Financed

If it isn't the number you are expecting, then ask for the details (ask for the details, anyway)

Found the problem, they slipped in Gap and red light to the deal. So I blew them off.
