For the lease cash, if I were to negotiate a price to buy the car at say X amount, then when I tell them I want to lease they should apply all or most of the lease cash to the price?

Should I already know they have that as an incentive and start negotiating it as a lease and be aggressive on cap cost?

It's likely that any offer from the dealer will already include the lease cash.

Figure out your target price, then adjust for the lease cash.
