I have five lease payments remaining on my current car @ 436/ea
They are waiving the last two and rolling $1,308.
I am being quoted the following on a 2017.5 Murano AWD Platinum with Tech package 36mo/15k:
MSRP $45,625
Out of pocket $1,000 (includes first payment)
$495 a month plus ky tax (6%)
$525/mo 35/mo - 15K/yr
i think he said the residual was $23,700
He also said I was getting he money factor you quoted me earlier.

If you need more info let me know. I didn't get a deal sheet. I tried to talk them down $10 more a month and he said there just wasn't any room with him eating my last 3 payments. Not sure if that was him being a sales guy or if he was being straight with me. They let me walk off the lot and didn't call me so I'm wondering if this is the best I can do?

Is there a reason you can't wait until your current lease is up?

The cap cost would have to be around $41,500 for the payment to be $525/mo.

I took it in for an oil change and they told me I had about 3mm left on my brakes which is fine for a lease turn-in but I'll end up paying around $400 for brakes if I wait. (I confirmed brake story with a mechanic friend of mine.)
 I figured that $400 I'd be spending anyway coupled with the extra down almost covers my last three payments.
He also said they have extra incentives through the April 10th.

You think I could do better? Should I just do the brakes and revisit this summer?

I don't make decisions with other peoples money.

The current Nissan numbers don't expire until the end of the month - I'd take the "extra incentives expire on April 10th" with a large grain of salt.

Nissans have always leased well; I see no reason for that to change 5 months from now.

I figured it was a scare tactic. I'm going to stay the course and just wait for the lease to expire!
That will get me much closer to the $500/mo price I wanted to be at in the first place.

I don't have any numbers, this month. If there was a mid-month update, we haven't seen it.

Any idea why the MF for some nissans is so low? I'm used to seeing MF closer to 0.0013 when I surf these forums.

I lease a 2014 murano sl awd and I'm currently at the dealer having recall work done. They are trying to convince me to return my car now (5 Mos remaining) saying they will lease me a 2017 sl at the same rate no money down.

I think I'm overpaying right now - 410 / monthly. What is the rate I should be looking for on a 2017 murano sl awd in order to make this worth my while? 379/mo? Do I even want to consider early return or should I just keep the car until the end? I'm fine with the car but would re-up at a very prime rate... thanks!

So, there is only a 1% change to the residual to pick up 3,000 additional miles annually? Seems like a very cheap way to buy additional miles or not to pay the per mile overage on a 12K lease..

You should always get the miles you think you'll drive, up front.

I had 15K on my last lease, and went over about 5000 miles when I turned it in. My work circumstances changed, and on my current lease I got 12K. I've had my car 10 months now and I've got 4500 miles on it. Guess I could have gone with 10K, comfortably.

Adding $595 acq.fee + 6.25% sales tax on full amount results in $42070 CAP cost.
$534/mo. with 1st payment and DMV fees upfront.
Subtract $28/mo for every extra $1000 upfront.

They will waive up to 6 month of payments and will get up to $2,000.00 bonus cash. with $500.00 wear and tear forgiveness and $395.00 disposition fee. I am leasing my Rogue for 12k/36 months. And the current mileage is 18,900 k. I am considering getting a Murano SL 2017 with MSRP of $42,635. Giant Discount - $2,404, Incentives - $3,000. I will be putting $2,000.00 DP. What will be my monthly payment be for 10K/36months or 12K/36months. What is the MF and Residual? Will I be able to use my mileage usage on my current lease as leverage? This will be in NJ. We don't know how your early termination will work. If they are forgiving lease payments, I highly doubt you'll get any credit for unused miles. How many months do you have left on your current lease?

So you have 9 payments remaining, and Nissan will cover 6 of them - leaving three to be rolled into the new lease.

The number you need to get from the dealer is the adjusted cap cost - this is the selling price plus any taxes, fees, and the remaining payments that are added into the new lease.

With that information, as well as a full breakdown of the $2000 you are putting up front, we can run the numbers.
