The dealer is correct. .00225 MF for Chicago region, as of 09/06.

What is the selling price?

We suggest your restructure the deal to pay only the first payment and DMV costs up front - roll the taxes and fees into the lease payment.

I wasn't given a selling price-- is that the negotiated price below the MSRP?
what is the advantage to rolling taxes and fees into the lease payment?
Also, I currently have an Acura MDX lease and made the last payment.  I have a damaged side view mirror.  I'm worried that when I turn it in that Acura will charge me a good deal of money for the mirror plus the$350 deposition fee.  However, I paid for 45 K miles and only used 37 K.  Should I be able to use that equity to pay for mirror damage or should I try to get the Toyota dealer to buy the Acura as part of the deal?

Yes, the selling price is the negotiated price below MSRP.

If you prepay the taxes and fees, and the car is stolen or totaled, you will lose that money.

Unfortunately, you paid for the 45,000 miles - no refunds (or credits for damage) if you don't use them all.

Find out the trade value of the MDX, and compare it to the buyout value. The more information you have, the better the deal you'll be able to make.

Without knowing the selling price, it's hard to qualify your quote.

Every $1000 added to the cap cost adds $28/mo to the payment. If you want to roll the taxes and fees that are part of the $2239, the selling price would have to come down the same amount to keep the payment the same.

What state? Toyota lease numbers are regional.

What is the MSRP?

What is the selling price?

We do not recommend a down payment on a lease - that money would be lost if the car is stolen or totaled.
