You'll get an inspection before you turn it in, right? You'll know then if they will charge you for tires. It's a set price, depending on your size, and it's probably no more than it will cost you to do it on your own. Nothing to do with them being run-flats. They either pass or they don't. If they don't pass, you'll get charged.foxfire88 said:My 36 month 528i lease is coming to an end. It will have 20k miles. Front tires will be fine for tread. Rear tires - marginal. Will I be charged for 2 new tires when turning car in? We have had BMWs for 20+ years and have never had to replace tires - but this is the first time with run flat tires. Thank you.
You might check eBay. Plenty of used tires for sale. If you can find your exact model and size, you can replace them for probably half (but, they have to be an exact match).Edmunds Price Checker

Not sure about the check for low mileage. That might also be dependent on staying with them, but we don't have that info.Edmunds Price Checker

As kyfdx says, your replacement tires must be the exact match to the front in size, quality, type and speed rating.
