I'm having trouble getting the numbers to match up to the payments on the Chevy website lease calculator with the mf's and rv's listed above. I have to use .00128 with a 54% rv to match the payments at 10k. Seems a little odd that the residual would be lower on an 2018 model vs. a 2017 model in 39 months. Also a little strange that rv is lower and rates are higher on a newer model car. Unless Chevy doesn't want to lease the 18's right now. But that being said, they still don't match up with the payments on the Chevy website. I've been able to get all the '17 model lease payments to match, assuming chevy is including a 4% tax rate. Not saying the figures above aren't correct, I guess I'm doing something wrong. Have you tried matching any numbers to Chevy's calculator?

You are exactly right - Chevrolet is promoting the outgoing 2017's, so they've set the lease numbers up accordingly.

Can't help you with the lease calculator - they often make assumptions we know nothing about.

Are the rates and residuals that you are quoting thru GM Financial? Also, is there an acquisition fee or any other fee that GM Financial charges? Or are these fees simply fees that dealers are adding in at their own discretion for additional dealer profit? Thanks!

Yes, GM Financial
Pretty sure that the GMF acquisition fee is $595
Other fees will be either government or dealer fees

I agree with your math, though I'd suggest you limit your up front cash to just the first payment and registration costs. Roll the fees and taxes into the selling price. If the car is stolen or totaled, I can assure you Gov. Cuomo won't refund you the pre-paid sales tax.

Dealer called...
They want me to put a deposit on the car to hold it so they will not sell it.
Also they want me to log on the dealer website and do the credit application. Is this a good idea?
I told them i can probably do all this in person this Friday if i agree to the Lease terms stated above.

At some point, if you want the car, you have to commit to it. You could wait until Friday, but they won't hold the car until then, I don't think.

Filling out the credit app, or even putting down the deposit, doesn't mean that you can't back out, if all is not as you agreed to.

Did a deposit. The dealer wanted $1000! Agreed to and I gave $500 on my AMEX card.
I plan on doing the Credit application tomorrow… I should not have a problem my credit score is 842.
Do you recommend doing that on there website or in person? Just wondering whats best…

Anything that saves you time at the dealership should be taken advantage of.

We put a $500 deposit on the Outback my wife wanted; it was in transit and it was the exact color she wanted.

The $500 came off the transaction price when the car arrived 2 weeks later and we did the deal.
