Honestly, I'd fly out to CA and get a good deal. There are about 6-10 dealerships in the LA area, so competition is pretty fierce. I will tell you though, that all of them told me that these deals were only good through 6/30/08, so not sure if you can jump on a plane this weekend. I was thinking they may not as be as pressed for quotas in July, what with the 4th of July weekend sales and all, so June seemed like the best month to me. who knows though, good deals are always out there. good luck!!
Ok, I am thinking of trading my 06 GX 470 in for an 08 IS350 and want to lease it. I wanted to ask for someone to help me figure out my monthly payment. I think i may go down to Bellevue Lexus tomorrow.
I want to Lease a 08 IS 350 with all the packages and options(Mark Levinson, Navigation, etc..) 36 months 12K miles a year $3,000 down 8.8% sales tax.
Could you send me those details as well. I am going to probably buy one this weekend as well. This sounds like a great deal. my email is combres@hotmail.com
If will take some time to read this forum or any leasing forum you will find that no one can tell whether a lease is a good deal without knowing the price of the car that the dealer is selling you. If you only negotiate the price of a lease payment you open yourself to getting into a bad deal.
You need::
Publicly Available Items MSRP Invoice Price Current Manufacturer Residual Current Manufacturer Lease Factor
Items particular to your deal Selling price (in these car buying times you should be around invoice on most cars) Lease factor dealer is quoting you (dealers can mark this up) Dealer doc fees Local sales tax, and whether you pay up front or every month. Out of pocket money up front.
You also need to remember that navigation has little residual value at the end of a lease, so you wind up paying for most of the navigation during the lease term.

Researching the deals on this forum has been invaluable in my lease negotiations, so I am hopeful that this post is helpful to some end-of-month IS250 shoppers.
I dealt with one of their Internet Sales Consultants and I have to say that the process was very straightforward. No haggling and everything was exactly as promised when I went to pick-up the vehicle. Best of luck everyone!
Got a great lease package this evening; premium, nav, BT, HID, XM, black with tan: $390/month + tax, $3000 OTD (included 1st month); 12K/36 months. MF = .00125. Excellent credit.
Great experience; negotiated price online with them in the morning, picked up the car in the evening. Entire deal took 1 hour.
(After working with 5 other local dealers, Lexus of Riverside (So Cal) was the only one that honored the true nationally advertised lease AND leased it with nav and XM for $31/month more.)
Believe this might be one of the best deals I've seen on the forum. Am thrilled!
Can you please email me the name of the salesman you worked with? It looks to me that you got the best deal on the forum. My email is dkaufman72@gmail.com

HATE TO TELL YOU THIS BUT IF YOU PUT DOWN $3000.00 YOU GOT RIPPED.jUST GOT THE SAME LOADED, NAV, SPOILER, 18'' TIRES, A/C SEATS LOADED 0 DOWN AND $430.00 A MONTH FOR 36 MONTHS AND 12000 MILES AND THEY PAID MY FIRST MONTH. 56% RESIDUAL VALUE...
JM LEXUS IN FLORIDA, YESTERDAY I LEASED IS 250 2008 NAV, A/C SEATS 18'' TIRES, LOADED 36 MONTHS, 12000 MILES $430.00 A MONTH INCLUDING TAX AND NO MONEY DOWN, THEY EVEN PAID MY FIRST MONTH.
Dear smellsmoke, Congratulations on your outstanding deal! May I ask you what was the MSRP of your call with options included? What is the final selling price of the vehicle? (how much below invoice?) In the Lexus website, I don't see something called the premium plus package... Is that the same as the luxury package? What's the tax rate on your state, and what money rate were you able to get? How hard was is to get this price at the dealer? Did you negotiate a lease or a cash sale first? Please help us with your methodology into getting this deal. Thanks!
I am also interested in the details of this deal, since I live in LA area. Would you please email me the details you sent to comohombre to moonsscATgmail.com? Can you also include dealership info and contact? Thanks!!
m.s.r.p.with the nav package was $38,600.00 with all the bells and whistles, a/c seats, spoiler, backup camera, automatic, roof, mats, lights, wood inside.I leased it with no money down $430.00 a month including tax (6%) 36 MONTHS 12000 MILES
Hello! Does anyone have any lease stories on a 2008 IS350? My local dealer (Fresno, CA) here says they sell 7 to 10 IS250's for every 1 IS350, so they only had 1, not fully optioned out model on the floor.
If anyone can share their deals here (negotiated price, MF, lease length, payments, etc) that would be great, thx.
I live in Southern Calfornia. I'm looking for a comparable lease to one previously posted which is:

Sounds like a great deal. I am shopping in the midwest and does not look like competition is driving deals like yours. Can you share what the money factor was on this car?
51% would make sense for 12,000 since what I was showing was for 15,000 miles. I am only passing the info on from another site that is pretty reliable on the MF.

Hey guys. I actually received a quote from a dealer on the IS350 and the MF was 0.0016 with 49% residual on 15 K miles. anyone know when the 2009's are coming out? is there going to be a IS350 coupe??
heres the deal I have received, $430 a month including tax, 15k a year, 2500 at signing, premium package and spolier. 3 year lease. Whats everybodys opinion?

At $2500 down at signing you are paying some cap cost reduction. Any leasing expert will tell you do not do a cap cost reduction. You risk losing some or all of your cap reduction as soon as your drive off the lot if your car is totaled or stolen. Insurance companies only pay for the market value of a lost or stolen car, and the depreciation starts as soon as the tires hit the road with you behind the wheel.
If you are worried about higher payments take the money that you would have put down to cut the payment in a higher interest savings account like INGDirect. If and when you need to make a lower car payment take some of the money out of savings to help with the payment.

I saw this on another forum. Thanks for any comments in advance.
sticker was 39109.00 Included HID's Nav System Premium Package "X" Package and preferred accessory package.
I purchased the vehicle for $33,980 and had the dealer add the F-Sport intake system before delivery and add it to the payment, an additional $395.00 charge for the intake.
i put $1000 down and my payment is $471.00 including sales tax for 36 months with 12k miles per year.
Ok everybody I leased the car, here is the break down
08 is 250 awd, with premium package, msrp 37294, selling price 33313.60, just my fees at signing, 15k a year 36 months, residual value 19424, monthly is $449.
I just ran the paperwork and was quoted an 08 IS250 RWD with premium package (heated/perf seats/woodgrain center trim) and a spoiler. MSRP of $34,359. I negotiated a lease at 12k miles, 36 months, $2,000 down and $329 a month plus tax ($354 total monthly CA tax included, in Los Angeles). Due to an error on the lease paperwork after the manager left for the night (they closed for the night while we worked the deal), I have to come back in and sign the lease by noon tomorrow.
Has anyone seen lower? I have until noon tomorrow (Friday 8/1) to sign the paperwork! I'd like to know for sure I did well before I run back in and sign. I'm pretty sure this is an awesome deal, but I don't want to get too high on myself until I have some feedback from the real experts (you guys).
We can't tell if you have gotten a good deal because you haven't told us what the selling price of the car is. You should never negotiate the payment of the car first, you negotiate the price of the car. This goes for buying or leasing.

So here goes my deal that I got on July 28th, didn't sign, decided to wait and see this months deals.
Model: 250 IS AWD MSRP: 35,238 Cap: 31,710 Residual: 19,028 MF: .0050/1.44 <-- this is what he said, think you multiple .00144 by 2400 right? Sales Tax: 10% (IL, Chicago Area)
$470 for 36 Months x 12k Miles. Basically is base AWD model, with all winter floor mats, and wheel locks, trunk net and carpet, that is it.
$285 cash back at signing, Just first month and fees due at signing.
I also got the same deal on the same model at a different dealership, but + rear spoiler. So MSRP on that one would be $35,924. That was the one I was actually going to go for but I didn't get the Cap Cost, Money Factor from that dealership, I assumed since they were going to match the deal plus throw in a spoiler it was better.
Whole reason I didn't sign was because the guy above who said he got 36 x 15k miles on a model with vented seats, 7% sales tax for $449. I plan to go back around August 15th (start my new job on August 11th) and try to negotiate another deal, hoping with the crap economy that maybe I will be able to get a similar deal. The best time to get a deal on a car is near the end of the month however.
