I am getting this deal from lexus, the is250 automatic basis MSRP $33,320 edmund's invoice price $29,346. 24/15k a year 399+taxes, $600 for tags, tax and fees. They did not give me the residual value, the money factor or the price they were giving me the car for. They said I had to go to the dealer for that, this is an offer they have on their website. Do you think this is a good deal? do you think I could negotiate it lower? after reading a few posts I calculated the payment for 24m, using a mf of .00020, selling price of $29,646 ($300 over invoice) 63% residual, 7% tax and I am coming up with $396 a month including taxes, which would be great to get, but maybe I don't have the residual correct. Well my main question is what is the lowest you think I could get this car for and are $600 dollars reasonable for tax, tag, acq. & state fees, they also did not want to give me a detail of fees....thank you!!!!!!!
hi, I been hearing this great money factor for 24m 12k on a 2wd is250 of .00020 does any one know where I can find this information so I can take it to the dealer. I have 750 in credit, but they are giving me .00050 and 61% residual. Thanks!
The dealer made a mistake and there is no such deal going on for 15k miles on a 24 for $399 a month plus taxes. It is only 12k, so this is what they can do for me. Still not getting the same numbers as they are, any ideas? 12,000 miles MSRP 33,320 cap cost $28900 24 months on a 12k mf .0005 residual 63%. they said 396.40 plus taxes. I am getting $379 including taxes. 15,000 miles MSRP 33,320 cap cost $29,010 mf .0005 residual 63% they gave me a figure of $422 + 7% taxes, I am getting $413. including 7% taxes they also said that the .00020 mf is for buying not leasing.
any suggestions are greatly appreciated, this is my first time leasing or buying a car.
I'm looking to lease a 2008 IS250 RWD with 18" wheels, HID Headlights, Navigation, Premium Package, and Preferred Accessory Package. MSRP is $38,314. I want to do a 36 or 48 month lease with 10,000 miles/year. I have $2,000 to put down and my credit score is above 720 so i'm in Tier1. I have a car to trade in and they said they would give me $15,000 for it but I owe $16,800. My question is what will my monthly payments be around and what is the residual value and money factor? Thanks for the help.
Thanks for providing the valuable information. I went to Longo in Cali today, For FICO720+, he told me the MF was .00275, then after I told him about .00175, he later changed to .00225........... Is .00175 still the correct MF now? IS350 with Nav, Premium plus, 18inch wheel, HID, MSRP $42594 Cap cost $38858 Residual 55% (Is this correct? for 36 month, 12k) Monthly $586+Tax $1000 due at signing (seems like they waived many fee?)
I cant get the $586 using those numbers though. What's the Residual for 15k miles? What are the different #s for 24 month?
I'm looking at leasing a IS250 RWD 6spd Manual transmission, and I currently live in SoCal near LA. The closest dealership to me would be Longo in El Monte, and i'm wondering about lease prices for a IS250 with base package, 18" alloys, HID, and Preferred Acessory Package. The total comes to be $33,204, and we plan to give a down payment of around $6000. The salesman told us this would cost us around $315 a month for a 48month 12k plan. Does that seem about right? Or am I getting ripped?
I thought I would share my deal that took place on Feb 27th in Miami FL.
Lexus IS 250 RWD Base Model w / Manual Transmission Credit Score 660 Equifax /was already a Lexus customer \ Months: 36 Miles: 15K Cash out of Pocket: $1500.00 / which Included first months payment Monthly Payment: $400.00 per month includes FL sales tax.
Hi, Lexus has been advertising a lease with for IS250 Nav for $349 for 24 Months and 3449 Due at signing. I've been calling several SoCal Dealers. I'm getting different Out-Pocket Cost with this deal? I guess this 3449 does not include fees and first payment? I'm getting quotes from $4000 to $4500 out of pocket?
Does this sound right? What is included in the 3449? What is the breakdown of the additional fees? Thanks
In the Chicago area, I'm seeing this same special, but at $369 a month. Haven't inquired any further with any delaers, but did notice on the tv that the amount down that you mention was the same.
I want a lexus i250 AWD. I live in New York obviously. I am tier 1plus but i need 20K miles a year. What is the price i should get on the car? What is the best price i should get on the car if i buy it? Not the MSRP but the best price i can see. I just want the basic car and AWD. I hope I can get some help from here and if someone can tell me the best dealer to use in westchester or long island, new york that would be much appreciated.
Plus i have read a little and I am a smart guy but am new to this i keep reading about money value .0002. what is that? What does that mean?
I ended up leasing a 08 IS250 RWD Manual for 36mo/12k miles. Payed $2000 down payment, MSRP was $33,204, Capitalized Cost was $29,083, the Residual Value is $18,983.28, MF was .00175. The monthly payment for the car is set at $350/month. Was this a good deal? Just curious.
I'm back again for some help on the purchase of an IS250. Have been looking at it for a while and wanted certain color and features. So far it has been a problem for some strange reason, and I have heard all kinds of "STUFF" from the dealer as to the reason. (SOUTH FLORIDA AREA)
Looking for an AUTO Trans with RWD Only want the WHITE (starfire pearl) and Cashmere Interior also must have a Navigation because I want to have the Bluetooth for the phone. Would like the Luxury package, but it seems that this package only exists in the brochure and not in real life, So instead To get the Navigation also comes with Premium Package, 18" Alloy wheels, High HDD lights, Spoiler, and i-pod interface.
Bottom line is I cant get to the bottom of why there are very few WHITE with BEIGE INTERIOR and NAVIGATION available. Only now has the dealer finally agreed to a fair deal, as they have stayed tough for quite awhile.
So has Lexus just come out with some type of dealer incentive? would seem that way to me.
Also please correct me if I am wrong on the 24 month lease special "Money Factor" of .00020 If I understand then it would amount to $2 a month per $10,000 of Lease amount Residual + Cap cost. So if residual is $25,000 and Cap Cost is $35,000 Then the monthly Lease rate is $12 plus the depreciation. gwarrenfl
I've been offered a 36 month lease with 15K miles per year on an IS350 with Luxury Package, Navigation, Mark Levinson, 18" Wheels, Rear Spoiler, and XM radio. MSRP $46,205 Cap cost $41,743 Residual 53% (36 month, 15K) Monthly $615+Tax $1,000 due at signing (including first month's payment)
I've actually been told that Lexus has just stopped making the car with the luxury package. Is this a good deal?
can you tell me where in miami? and perhaps who you dealt with there? Was this an advertised special or just walked inn and got this deal. thanks for any help you can provide. BTW how do you like the car?
I am also looking to lease a IS 250 RWD. I also reside in Houston. I stopped by Westside Lexus and the salesman stated that the special MF ends at the end of March. He also said that to get that payment of around $350-375, It would be a car without the premium pkg. I will shop around tomorrow, probably go to Sterling Mccall, I want to get it done before the end of March.
I did not get a chance to see any inventory, because of property restraints, they keep new cars at a office bldg several blocks away.
I just leased an 08 IS 250 RWD with HID package, 18" tires and rims for $460/mth 12,000 miles a year NO money out of pocket for 42 months with resdiual value $16,400 at end of lease. Payment was a bit high because I turned in an Acura TL 2007 with $3,000 negative equity
2008 IS 250 RWD with Navigation Package, Premium Package, 18" Alloy Wheels, High Intensity Discharge Headlamps, Back-up Camera, Bluetooth, and the Preferred Accessory Package.
24m/12k MSRP: $38,314 Price: $32,877 + $600 Acquisition Fee 0 Down Monthly Payment: $389.25 plus tax
Seems like you are getting the car for $150-$200 below invoice. The MF and residual work out...so, unless you can negotiate a better deal, that seems pretty damn good. If that is their first offer, it's negotiable...if that's the result of all your negotations...then it's still a great deal.
Heck...I'm going to use your numbers as my starting point when I go down to Kearny Mesa Lexus here in San Diego during lunch!
Postman, Sounds like you are offered a fantastic deal. Don't pass it up. They already went all in and want your business. I thought I did a good job of negotiation and with the same vehicle specs in South Florida I am paying $460 plus tax. Also charged a $700 dealer fee that was rolled into the payment along with the $600 bank fee.
Dealer refused to acknowledge that there is a .00020 MF and they claimed that the best available at the highest beacon score tier 1 was at .00050. Still a great MF but not .00020 gwarren
I am having a hard time trying to get the $350 per month deal in Texas. Anybody having any luck in the Houston area. The dealers that I have spoken with said that they don't know why California dealers go below invoice. They blame it on the economy in Calif. In Texas, because of the price of oil and the job market, they don't have to go invoice. They can sell them slightly below MSRP. I was told in order to get to the $350-400 range, I need $6,000 down.
Once again live in New York (westchester county). AM looking to lease a lexus 36 months 15K miles. I know the .00020 is over but does anyone know what would be a good starting point. is250AWD no navigation basic with leather seats. MSRP was 35,800. Anything would be helpful?
Hi guys, I am a new member. I will graduate from college in 1 month. I am thinking about leasing a 2008 IS 250 RWD, but I read an article about leasing a used 2007 may help save quite a lot. I'm confused now. Any experts here can help me to decide which one is financially better ? Any constructive and informed comment is appreciated. I am looking for a 36 month lease through Lexus' College Grad Lease Program (CGLP). How should I negotiate? Should I negotiate the cap cost (sale price) first and work out the lease through CGLP or just email the dealers and ask for quotes through CGLP. Thank you :confuse:
Is there any special leasing rates in April (kind of like the one they had in March) for an IS250 RWD? I'm in Houston, TX and was wondering what the current best Money Factor is.
Car_man looks like you have not tuned into this forum since March 6th? I did end up leasing an IS250 with the 24 month special rate. However the dealer which is THE LARGEST in FLORIDA, said that the best Lexus was offering was at .00050. I know that that is still a great Money Factor but not quite the .00020. I figured about $20 a month difference on the lease. So does the dealer have to offer the published rate or is it in their hands to decide. I know that it would be my choice to just go to another dealer, but iy's all to aggrevating. ( I know that it was not due to my rating as I know that I qualify for the best that is offered. gawarrenfl
I just saw that on our local Infiniti website. As the summer doldrums roll around there's a distinct possibility that a similar program will surface. I've started chumming, so with 10 weeks before the expiration of my present lease I suspect one of the dealers will be back to me with a better rate. Bart :shades:
that's a good deal, but what they forget to tell you is, fees and 1st month payment is included with the 0 down payment. fees are usually around $800-$1000 depending on what state your in.
here is the deal I got:
24m/12k MSRP: $38,314 3000 Down Monthly Payment: $324. tax included
I'm about to start walking into dealerships and begin negotiating a lease for an IS350. I want the IS350 with Obsidian/Graphite interior, NAV and luxury package. I'm looking for a 3 yr/15,000 per lease and no money up front (except for tax/title/fees). Just curious to know what deals others are getting so I have an idea before I walk into the lion's den.
IS250 RWD, $1,000 drive off (includes $500 for plates), 36 months, 12k miles per year at $405 per month plus tax. MSRP of 35,485. He would not give me residual value, money factor or total cap cost until I come into the dealership.
This was not his first offer, he started at over $600 a month and through several e-mails has come down to this.
I am in no hurry to lease, should I wait until next month to see if additional discounts come back? I would really like the 24 month lease, but missed it as I started shopping the last weekend of the March.
hi, I'm just about to lease an IS350 and I was told the money factor for April is .00185 for tier 1 plus credit (.00195 for Tier 1). The residual for 15,000 miles is 52%...
I'm hoping someone else can confirm this....Thanks!
Do you know the April 2008 money factor and residuals through lexus financial services on an IS350? I was told it was .00185 for tier 1 plus and .00195 for tier 1. Also the residual (i'm told) is 52% for 15K. Can you please confirm this? I know that dealers sometimes play games with the money factors..... Thanks a lot!!
Tomatosaenz, Lexus Financial Services' current buy rate lease money factor and residual value for a 36 month lease of a 2008 Lexus IS 350 with 15,000 miles per year are .00185 and 52%, respectively for consumers who qualify for its top credit tier.

Hey gwarren. The the best of my knowledge, Lexus is not currently providing any cash incentives on the IS. Lexus was running a special 24 month lease on the IS 250 last month, but I do not believe that the enhanced 2 year lease is available in April.
Car_man Host Prices Paid: Buying & Leasing Experiences Forum
Car_ Man, Thanks for the info, but I did already take the deal fro the IS250 at the end of March (My daughters car, I just helped with lease deal) Yes we did get a good deal on the 24 month but Dealer said that the absolute best M.F. was at .00040 and not .00020 so it made a difference of about $10-15 a month. Ultimately still a very good deal.
Anyway more importantly my Audi Lease is ending in a week and I Am looking at the same car again see my post in the AUDI A-4. I will be buying in the next couple of days
Welcome tv012081. Where did you read the article stating that leasing a used vehicle may be better than leasing a brand new one? I have found that given the lack of support that most manufacturers provide on used vehicle leases that they are often as expensive as, or even more expensive than similar leases on brand new vehicles. It's worth looking in to leasing a used IS, but definitely make sure to compare the payment that you are quoted on a lease of a used one to what it would cost to lease a new one.
The best way to negotiate a good deal on a leased vehicle is to shop around for the lowest possible selling price and then have the dealer that you decide to go with calculate your car's monthly payment using its buy rate lease money factor.

The best way to negotiate a good deal on a leased vehicle is to shop around for the lowest possible selling price and then have the dealer that you decide to go with calculate your car's monthly payment using its buy rate lease money factor.
