    You are assuming that internet sale price is valid with a lease. It might be, or it might not.

    California taxes the monthly payment. The only upfront sales tax is on the rebates. I'm guessing your sale price and balance due are for a purchase, and that those numbers change, when you switch to a lease. Otherwise, no way to come up with $5700 in extras.

    Thank so much. So this deal is a not a very good deal based on the numbers then. Correct? So when they add in the sales tax on the sale price, they are trying to double charge me?
