I'm not trying to stir things up. As I mentioned, I just like to read intelligent discussions and when I see critical spelling and grammar errors it annoys me.
You're right, maybe it is 3rd graders writing the posts.
1. There should be a comma after "discussions", since this is a compound sentence.
2. There should be a period after "You're right", since this is a run-on sentence.
You're grammar police badge is officially revoked!
Not, that's not true. Ok, to the highline guys who said I would love my job.... you're totally and completely right. I have never worked at a store that is so awesome. Built in 2003, incredible product, awesome professional workers (who still have a lot of fun) and great profit. What else can you ask for?
How about a manager that doesn't breathe down your next every moment? How about a manager that knows you can sell cars and doesn't treat you like a greenpea? How about a manager that provides you with all the training tools and leaves them at your disposal to better yourself as a salesperson? How about other salesguys who do their best to help you and not make the workplace a cutthroat environment?
I think I'm in heaven.

I'll give you the no comma. I wouldn't have put one there before and either. However, on example 2 I'd either put a period and start another sentence or dust of a semicolon and put it where you have the comma.
Have a nice day.
I thought that was you.
Welcome to the site.
If your in the Biz whats your brand?
It sucks - my sales so far have been repeat , refferal and 1 from a November up.

My owner put on the craziest spiff I have ever seen in since I have been in the biz. Let me rephrase that. It is the craziest attainable spiff I have ever seen.
$30K on the line for 150 sales
3 teams
6 on two teams 7 on one. Each team is responsible for 50 sales. if your team hits the 50 you get $10K to split between your team.
Just cheap entertainment I suppose at the expense of a person working on straight commission.
It is also possible that your co-worker did something to cause this.
Generally people need to be focused and a good salesperson can narrow them down quickly. The people who drive the most cars are generally the ones who don't buy.
I am sorry.
Hey............... :P
Salesperson takes an "up" and five minutes later he/she realizes he has been ambushed. He can do two things. He can try to turn this bad up into a buyer and sometimes this can happen. Or, he will try to rid himself of this horrible up as quickly as possible. The "up" will say things like...
" We are just starting the process we probably won't be doing anything until February but you have four used cars that we would like to test drive"
Etc...
Mack will be here in awhile, I heard they bought a F350 today at his Toyota store and all the sales people are in the parking lot looking at it. Here is some animation from it. The guy in the chair is the owner of the F350, the rest are the Toyota Salesmen.

Every so often you'll throw me one that takes the "Hey, I wouldn't mid doing this for a living" right out of me.
Yo, Joel! Nice bug. I was trying to get him off my screen....

But I caught "its" (instead of it's) and "anyways" (instead of anyway).
So, between us grammar/spelling geeks that's all of them I believe.
I'm sure there are punctuation problems but that ain't my specialty. :confuse:

Thanks, that one almost got me.
I've been gone most of the day and sat down to catch up on some reading. Well, Mrs.jmonroe is in the office watching TV and sees this and says, "what's that on the screen" as she gets up to see it. Of course she has to say something and says, "you guys are sick".
As I was coming up on your post 22523, I scrolled past that so fast it was just a blur. I'll go back and read that some other time. :confuse:
It's just a matter of time now.

Joel--I'm pleased that sales are going well for you and your store. I read in the paper that TN has the 4th highest percentage mortgage default rate in the US so I guess your local housing market isn't as strong as the auto sales.
Here in OK we are in the grip of the first of several predicted ice storms. The worst is supposed to come tomorrow. Probably won't be too many sales at our car dealerships although the body shops are likely to be doing a booming business in the next few weeks. Those full-size, rear-wheel drive trucks may look impressive until you find them stuck in the ditch along the road. I had to laugh last year when I was stuck next to a bunch at the bottom of the hill at the entrance to my neighborhood. My wife blew past all of us in her AWD Rav4.
