A 2 percent residual decrease in just 2 weeks? Is that normal or will that even continue (e.g., in another 2 weeks from now it's fallen to 47%?).

Since there are plenty of Rogue Sports 2018.5 out there at the dealers, but the 2019 model was announced back in November: Any information when the 2019 becomes available? That should affect 2018.5 prices.

There were updates to the Nissan numbers since the beginning of the month.

New numbers will be released for February.

No knowledge of when the 2019's will be available.

If there was a decrease from 51% to 49% in January, will February then more likely remain the same, go further down, or up again?

Residuals rarely go up, as the year progresses.

Beyond that, no guesses for next month.

And, at some point, support for the 2018's will simply end, without notice.

I local dealer is offering the 2018 Rogue SL AWD for $10,000 off but when i asked about a lease, he said i wouldnt get the same discount. He said the incentives are different to purchase it than to lease it. Is that right? Dealer cash vs lease cash?

That is often the case.

However, the 2018 Rogue no longer has lease support, so the price should be good for either buy or lease. ($4500 Nissan to dealer cash).

But, with no support, the it would still make for a horrible lease.
